Dolka-bar– a cozy area for relaxation and communication with interesting people, including the owner. In an interview with Sergei Dolya– the main thing in relationships between husband and wife, man and woman. When is a man ready to propose marriage? How to maintain freedom in family relationships? And also how to overcome fear on the path to success?

We are located in the “Dolka Bar” - a cozy place where people who are passionate about travel, bloggers and more constantly gather. Here they share their impressions, get inspired for new adventures and simply relax between trips. The owner of this cozy establishment is Sergey Dolya, and today we have several questions for him. Sergey is a very multifaceted personality: businessman, photographer, traveler, blogger, writer, loving father both a husband and just a person who has already seen so many interesting things in this world.

Maria: First of all, I want to note that you and your wife are a very beautiful and happy couple. You travel a lot, both as a family and individually. How do you manage to maintain harmony in your relationships, especially at a distance from each other?

Sergey: My wife and I just love each other very much, and our children simply adore us, because we never scold them or quarrel ourselves. We all like to support each other. When you find yourself in an unfamiliar environment, an unfamiliar city, you always want someone close to you, which is why it’s so nice to travel not only separately, but also together.

Maria: How did you find each other?

Sergey: I was a disc jockey in Dubna, every five dances we played a slow composition. I saw beautiful girl in the hall and decided to invite her to dance. We needed to start the conversation somewhere, and I asked who her horoscope was. As it turns out, both she and I are Scorpios. And when I asked what date her birthday was, I realized that it was as if fate itself had brought us together; we had the same birthday – November 13th.

Maria: Many of our readers are wondering how to get married and be happy couple. What prompted you to get married? How did you make the offer?

Sergey: I had a different situation. Before the wedding, we lived together for probably three years, and I started proposing a year later. For two years she told me: “Come on, maybe we’ll wait, we’re fine as is, maybe we don’t need it.” But in the end I persuaded her!

Maria: How to achieve deep, sincere trust in each other?

Sergey: Any family is hard work and a difficult path. Of course, at the beginning there were some compromises, we tried to understand each other. Now we trust each other - my wife understands that I cannot be kept in a cage, otherwise I will simply fly away. She also often goes on trips without me, sometimes alone, sometimes with children, and I am absolutely calm about this.

Maria: Maybe you can give advice to women who want to create a happy relationship, but perhaps they are doing something wrong?

Sergey: There is no need to put pressure on a man, no need to regard him as your property. Men are freedom-loving individuals, and they should be given at least the appearance of this freedom.

Maria: Many women don’t know how to start a relationship, how to approach, or whether to take the first steps. Perhaps you can advise them something too.

Sergey: The first steps certainly need to be taken, but not to overdo it. Very it's important to make a first impression, what is important here is how a woman looks, how well-groomed she is. She must also be able to communicate. Just looking beautiful is not enough.

CRITICISM IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Maria: It's nice to see when a man pursues a woman. And now I would like to talk a little about travel. Is this your hobby or job?

Sergey: Definitely a hobby, I travel because I enjoy it.

Maria: People sometimes do not dare to achieve what they dream of, because their dreams seem unrealistic to them. How did you start your journey to achieving what you want?

Sergey: The main thing is not to be afraid!!!

I started traveling because I was very afraid of flying. Once a month I needed to fly on business trips, and I began to notice that when I fly three times a month, I am less afraid. I decided for myself: to conquer your fear, you must overcome it. I decided that I would fly once a week, the direction didn’t even matter - that’s how my travels began. Now I love flying, I fly on anything, including stools with a propeller. Now I travel not so that I am not afraid of flying, but because I like to explore the world and discover new places.

Maria: Which countries are your priority?

Sergey: I love Nordic countries, beach holiday- not mine. Although twice a year I have to take my wife for a walk to the sea. When I'm alone, and for example, I come to the ocean, I don't even go for a swim.

Maria: Why specifically the northern countries?

Sergey: There are usually few people there, wide open spaces and cold landscapes - they really attract me. You go out to the top of the pass and you can shout and feel that there is no one around, only mountains, and this is the most pleasant thing that can happen.

Maria: You take amazing pictures. They need good technique, equipment and much more. This hobby requires a lot of investment. How did you understand that it was yours?

Sergey: First I came to photographic equipment. At first I took part in trophy raids. We had a huge SUV, with huge wheels, and we drove through the swamps. We had good results, we were fourth in the Russian championship and first in the Russian international team. I once started taking a camera with me to photograph our competitions. There were other guys with cameras nearby, and I began to notice that their photos were much better. I came to the conclusion that my photographic equipment was not good enough. I started buying more and more expensive, and then, when I had the most expensive set in my hands, and the photographs were still worse than theirs, I realized that it was not the photographic equipment, but the hands. Then I already began to study and find out what photography is.

Maria: Where did you study?

Sergey: I haven't completed any courses. I proceeded in two ways:

1. I bought books famous photographers, there I looked at photographs and read descriptions of how they were made. Thus, he applied knowledge in practice.

2. There are many different photo sites and forums, and I sent my photos there and asked them to criticize them. There are good photographers there - people who understand, they criticized me, I drew conclusions and next time I photographed differently. That's how I gradually learned.

KNOCK UNTIL YOU REACH YOUR GOAL

Maria: Can you give parting words to those who still can’t decide to take the first steps towards realizing their dreams?

Sergey: The main thing is not to be afraid. I had a very good experience: The first job I got as a student was that I came in the morning and they gave me a bag with various graters and said - this is the street, your right side. So I walked along this street and went into every door that was open. There were institutions in which I broke through the guards, went into the offices and said that I have a presentation, we sell graters, let me show you which ones. Then I realized that if there are a hundred doors in front of you and the first one has not opened, you should not be afraid to move on. The first and second may not open, but the thirty-fifth will open, and everything will work out. Don't give up - that's all.

Maria: On such an inspiring note, we end our interview, because I urgently need to go and knock on doors, perhaps the 35th door will be the key to my dream... and maybe even earlier.

We thank Sergei Dolya for valuable advice on the path to happy relationships and creative development.

...We were approaching Moscow. Evil clouds were gathering over the city. Like over my head, I guess. The madness of Minsk was left behind, the dripping rain seemed to mourn my reputation. Soon I will have to answer in full for all my sins. Larisa Dolya herself will act as an impartial Anubis. She must have already prepared the rolling pin.

We're riding in the elevator. A rancid lump of remorse fills your lungs, and incriminating flashbacks swarm in your head. I'm sponging the hood of a Land Rover. After a few minutes I will move to his wheel. The culmination will be glass washing...

To be honest, I don’t know how the developers managed to achieve this, but there is some kind of built-in processing inside. Without any filters or editing, the photos turn out excellent. The skin is smooth, slightly glossy. And the colors are not distorted at all. For example, in some of the final shots I came out either lighter or darker than I really was. LG G4 reflects the picture as objectively as possible. I’m silent about how handsome he is, eh:

#Filmed by LGG4

On the last day we only took pictures with it, I will definitely show you these photos. But now let's get back to our photo shoot. I've been dreaming about shots like this for a long time. By the way, someone wrote that this is exactly how he saw me in Minsk. I feel like a little more and I will be elevated to the rank of ambassador of European debauchery, but oh well)))

Let's get back to my torment. The water was very cold, and the stream was wildly powerful. It was flooding everywhere! It was not possible to breathe through the nose, so almost every second photo shows this “marvelous” mouth:

There was a lot of controversy about shoes in the comments. In my life, I’m unlikely to be able to physically walk 10 meters in this. But for a photo shoot, it seems to me, it’s just right.

Hold on! The continuation of our adventures in summer Minsk will not be long in coming)))

Sergey Dolya - famous person Russian Internet. The amateur photographer's travel blog has gained numerous fans and imitators. The biography of Sergei Dolya seems like a dream come true about the adventures and glory of a pioneering hero.

Childhood

Sergey Dolya is an entrepreneur, photographer, traveler, blogger and author of books. He was born in 1973. The family lived in Kharkov (Ukraine). But at the age of several months, Dolya moved to Russia with his parents, and early years The blogger’s life was spent in Dubna, near Moscow.

Young Sergei Sergeevich Dolya did not show the makings of a future professional tourist and popular author. When moving from Ukraine to Russia, the baby loudly expressed his dissatisfaction with the trip. And in school years Sergei hated writing essays.

Education and early career

Dolya's first attempt to enter a university was unsuccessful. In preparation for the new recruitment, Sergei mastered several professions - from a plumber to a video store worker. Doli's responsibilities as a distributor included simultaneous translation of German films for adults. Foreign language he didn’t know, but the dialogues didn’t carry much meaning and Dolya made up lines in Russian along the way.

A year later, Sergei became a student State University in Tver. He studied at the Faculty of Physics and worked part-time as a shuttle trader - he walked around offices and tried to sell household items to employees. A profession associated with the risk of inhospitable reception taught Sergei Dolya a share of entrepreneurship and perseverance in achieving goals.

The blogger's first and only official employer was Philips. During the interview, Dolya impressed the managers with his thorough knowledge of the range of branded headphones. He received a position as a specialist in the promotion of sound systems. During the 2 years of Sergey’s work at Philips, the brand’s accessories took top positions in sales in Russia.

In 1998, Dolya left the company to start his own business.

Soundline Company

Sergey Dolya started entrepreneurial activity immediately after leaving Phillips. In 1998, he founded the Soundline company, which became the official distributor of Philips products in Russia. Business young man started on a small scale and a room-sized office. Over time, he formed a team of former colleagues and acquired large clients in the form of leading retail chains of household appliances.

In the mid-2000s, Soundline became a supplier of Thomson equipment to Russia. This contract brought commercial success to the company and brought general director Sergei Share in the top domestic entrepreneurs in the electronics market.

Creating a travel blog

By 2007, the functioning of Soundline had become a well-oiled mechanism that did not require the constant presence of the general director. Free time and financial resources together opened up wide opportunities for choosing an interesting activity to their liking.

Share became interested in traveling and photographing sights. Later he began to write down impressions of countries. The man hoped to have his essays published in the press, but not a single magazine accepted his works. Then Sergei opened an account on a popular online diary service, where he posted his first post with photographs. It was the beginning of the history of a travel magazine with an audience of thousands of subscribers.

The success of photoblogger Sergei Doli attracted the attention of sponsors. The traveler tested advertisers' products and talked about the experience in his diary. Sponsors began to finance Doli's travels. The blog began to generate income, which allowed Sergei to quit working at Soundline. Share sold the company and made the diary his main occupation.

The entrepreneur has become a recognizable character on the Runet and public figure. Sergei Dolya’s social campaigns “Blogger Against Garbage” took place in 2011-2013. and attracted several thousand participants throughout the country. An amateur traveler conquered the Dyatlov Pass. And in 2014, the route of Doli’s next trip wrote the word GOOGLE on the map of Russia.

Sergei has photo exhibitions around the world and dozens of reports published in international media, membership in the American society National Photographer's Association. The blogger has published several illustrated books with essays about his trips.

Today Sergey Dolya maintains 3 accounts in the format of a travel diary. To the main magazine, launched in 2007, a video channel and a page with visual content on an international social network were added.

Secrets of a successful blog

Sergey Dolya systematically works to fill the online diary. While traveling, he takes photographs, selects the best ones and edits them on his laptop.

At home, Sergei writes notes, the creation of which different cases takes from a couple of hours to several days. The author prepares texts for future use so that the blog is continuously updated during his travels.

The traveler came up with a formula for successful publication. Its components are:

  • About 30 high-quality photos.
  • A minimum of facts from Wikipedia and banal phrases.
  • Maximum truthful personal experience when describing the trip.

The most impressive trips

Over the years of the blog's existence, the photographer has visited more than 115 countries. He names the north as his favorite destination - Scandinavia and Iceland.

Some trips left behind particularly vivid impressions. Thus, the expedition to Chukotka was memorable for Sergei Dolya extreme conditions tourism. At an air temperature of -50 °C, the car interior replaced the missing hotel service for the traveler and his team.

Dubai impressed Dolya with its extravagant luxury. Accommodation in the multi-star Burj Al Arab hotel with mirrored room interiors became interesting for the traveler personal experience.

In Africa, Sergei Dolya experienced the most terrible night. During a tour of Botswana, the blogger and his team slept in a tent camp. In the darkness, exotic predators stalked around the precarious fortifications.

Healthy lifestyle and weight loss

Internet users are interested in the issue of weight loss of Sergei Dolya. Photos of a thinner blogger aroused interest among the audience. Today, a healthy lifestyle is one of the topics of his video channel.

Sergei has a natural tendency to be overweight. For many years, his struggle with weight was cyclical: weight loss was followed by weight gain. Compliance with the diet was complicated by an addiction to sweets.

In 2015, the blogger experienced 2 heart attacks. Health problems forced Sergei Dolya to reconsider his habits and nutrition system. He gave up fried foods, fatty meats, alcohol and flour products. Dolya replaced sausages for breakfast with porridge made with one percent milk.

In just a few months of dieting, Sergei lost 40 kg. Today he monitors the caloric content of his meals, but admits to periodic breakdowns on sweets and accompanying weight fluctuations.

When traveling, Dolya keeps herself under control in the face of the temptations of hotel buffets. As a personal trainer, Sergey uses fitness applications for gadgets and performs exercise sets in hotels.

Personal life

Sergei Dolya's family is his wife Larisa and two sons. Blogger and him future wife studied at the same university. Larisa graduated from the philological department of the State University in Tver. Sergey and Larisa have been living together for more than 25 years.

The blogger's wife shares his interests. She herself organizes gastronomic trips around Italy.

Blogger in 2018

Today Sergey Dolya is among the top 100 popular Russian bloggers. He believes that the travel writing format has become obsolete, and plans to develop a video channel and an account with photographs.

Share combines work on the blog with the activities of a guide. He collaborates with the Team Trip agency and accompanies groups of tourists to exotic destinations.

In the summer of 2018, Sergey committed trip around the world. The trip, organized by the Land Rover automobile brand, aimed to circumnavigate the planet in 70 days and was timed to coincide with the company's anniversary.

The journey started in June and ended in August. Sergei Dolya's team covered about 70 thousand km on Land Rover SUVs and by air. The route ran through 21 states. The blogger's photo reports documented the trip and were published on the website National magazine Geographic.

Sergey Dolya is an example of a modern businessman who uses outstanding financial opportunities for creative self-realization. The entrepreneurial spirit of the businessman allowed him to turn his hobby into a profitable occupation that brings not only joy, but also income.

About losing weight men and people of a heroic nature

— It’s somehow more common when women get carried away with diets and calorie counting...

- This is a stereotype that exists, I don’t know on what basis.

I'll tell you this: while men are young, they really don't think about it. But when you cross the line of 37-40 years, then, wherever I go, in a male company, the first thing we talk about is who weighs how much and who supports themselves. It just seems that men should, excuse me, talk about women and football. Nothing like this. 90% of the time: how much you weigh and what you do to stay at your weight.

- Isn’t this some kind of secret you just revealed?

- I think not, but maybe it’s like that for me... I travel a lot, and they often talk to me about this. In a regular company that meets once a week, we don't talk about this every time. But when there are new people, when I arrive in a new city, some kind of feast begins, then the conversation one way or another turns on this topic.

— Is this primarily related to health?

- This is related to health. But first of all, I think men want to look better. When they reach a certain milestone, what they look like on the outside becomes much more important to them. When we were young, we weren’t particularly worried, and everything was fine.

— But you yourself began to lose weight precisely after health problems...

— I have many years of experience losing weight. But what happened before: I started to lose weight, I lost, say, 10 kg, after that - “oooh, I’ve lost weight!” - and six months later it’s already +15. Not only did he return a ten, but he also gained a five. And these processes were cyclical and periodic, but there was no such result as now.

Health problems have indeed become a strong motivation. And then the excitement appeared: how much longer can I do? And I continued to lose weight, no longer because of health problems. In seven months I lost weight from 127 to 82-84 kg. After that I stopped. Then I gradually gained 10-15 kilograms. And when I went to the cardiologist, he said: “Boy, everything is fine with you! You are healthy. You can start drinking, you can eat whatever you want, you can’t limit yourself to anything.”

And then I thought that I was really at a crossroads. I fixed everything, I can start drinking and eating whatever I want again and leading a “fun” lifestyle. Or I can take charge of myself again. And try it.

Now my weight is 78 kg. And I came to this result with a weight that was completely normal for me and without the threat of death.

Psychologists say that I am a “heroic” type of person. That is, if I set myself a goal, then I throw all my resources at it and it is important for me to achieve it. I achieve it and then relax. The problem for all people like me is that we can achieve, but we no longer have enough strength to maintain. The checkbox is ticked. But living with this all your life and maintaining yourself in this shape every day is the most difficult thing.

—Are you afraid of gaining weight again?

- Afraid. I'm keeping an eye on this. I do everything to prevent this from happening. But I see that my scales periodically swing left and right.

Sergey Dolya

About monotony, temptations and the benefits of breakdowns

- Who cooks breakfast for you?

- I cook it myself. I really like porridge for breakfast, so I just make myself some porridge and coffee.

— Porridge on the water?

- It's not that bad. Yes, I eat porridge without jam, but I have it with milk. This is 300 ml of 1.5 percent milk + 50 g of rolled oats. Plus 150 ml of milk in coffee. Here's my breakfast. I weigh everything. This is 402 kilocalories.

- Don't you get bored?

- No, I really like it.

I used to eat the same thing in the morning too. Two eggs and three sausages - that’s been my breakfast all my life. But now I’ve completely moved away from sausages. As for eggs, nutritionists say that you need to eat them periodically, and I eat them when I travel.

The trick that not everyone understands when they watch my video is that all this weight loss and weight maintenance happens on my trips. I am at home in Moscow five days a month. The rest of the time every morning I have new country or a city, a new hotel, a new buffet, and at lunch and dinner I have restaurants and buffets. All this can be very varied and looks very tasty. And in this sense, it is doubly difficult for me than for those who lose weight at home.

At some point I rewired my brain. I thought: guy, well, you’ve already visited most countries, you’ve already seen everything, you’ve already tried everything. Stop trying. It's more important for you to take care of your health.

— What should people do who haven’t tried so many things? “Yeah, it’s easy to refuse now, when you’re no longer even interested...”

- Of course, we always find an excuse for ourselves, and there is always someone who has an easier time. But again, don’t forget that I have this temptation all the time. But you don’t have such temptations. You have others.

You must - and I talk about this in the video - understand your personal temptations that you face every day. And find the correct answer to them, remember or write it down, and when you encounter this temptation, you need not to turn off your brain - it will turn off on its own, but remember or read this answer. And act in accordance with it.

- Do you like sweets?

- I love it very much. I would only eat sweets if I could.

I sometimes lose my temper. If I see a cake at home - they bring it to the children, they eat a small piece - then I eat this cake to the end. And then - on a diet and a gym.

This is called a “cheat meal” - when you, say, once a week, give yourself permission to break off your diet and eat whatever you want. Many people do this on a schedule. I don’t have a schedule yet, but such disruptions are an additional incentive for me. Because losing weight goes on and on and on, and at some point you realize that you are tired of everything. And then you snap, and your schedule goes up, you look at it and think: “everything I did before was in vain?!” And you with new strength take care of yourself.

About giving up alcohol and difficulties in communication

- Losing weight, healthy lifestyle... How not to become, you know, such a fanatic?

“I think it’s a good idea if you become a fanatic.” This will help you achieve some results faster until you get hooked. And it’s very difficult to be a fanatic for a long time.

— When there is some kind of family or friendly feast, what do you do?

— When I’m at home, we get together with the whole family in the evenings, but this is not a feast, this is a family dinner and there are no problems here. But on the weekend, when we get together with friends, I sometimes eat too much: when all this is on the table in front of me, I can’t stop and eat-eat-eat... I know in advance before meeting with friends that I’ll lose my temper.

— Did your new lifestyle influence the fact that you began to meet with friends less often?

- No... Well, maybe a little bit... Well, yes. What is there to hide? But not critical.

— Did giving up alcohol change anything?

— My friends think that I have become more boring. But this is not a reason not to communicate with me.

When you come somewhere and they say to you: “Shall we have a drink?”, and you start to break down: “Oh, no, I’m driving today...” or “I have to get up early tomorrow...”, then people understand that there is a weakness, they start press. And when you come and say honestly: “No, I’ve been on a roll for two years, I don’t drink,” then people immediately fall behind.

I only had two cases when the interlocutors continued to insist, but it was a heavily drunk company, the people were strangers, and it was in the outback. I found myself at a feast after the city day among quite high level, and our officials can be very persistent, but I withstood this onslaught.

Two years ago I stopped drinking and haven’t taken a sip of alcohol since then, because I understand that if I do, I’ll start drinking again.

— Did you drink a lot?

— Yes, I drank two or three bottles of wine a day. Daily.

- Why didn’t this affect your...

- ...mental activity (smiles)?

Well, because it was in the evenings. I have my own restaurant, and I used to travel with a driver. I arrived at the restaurant at 4 o'clock, and the waiters knew that as soon as I arrived, they had to place a glass of wine next to me. And if they saw that it was ending, they, without asking anything, simply brought the next one. And I somehow just asked, how much do I drink in the end? I don’t look - they bring and bring. And they gave me statistics, which showed 2-3 bottles per evening. By the time you've walked around all the guests, by the time you've talked to everyone - in general, it's been a lot.

— Was it difficult to stop drinking?

- Very difficult! This is one of the most difficult. I had to quit smoking and drinking. This is where it helped that death was nearby. It was a good motivator.

- And then?

— Quitting smoking and drinking are about the same. The first three weeks are hard, that's all you can think about. And then, after three months, you just forget about it. You don't even remember that you ever smoked. I am now absolutely indifferent to alcohol, I have no cravings, no withdrawal symptoms, no desire to go out and drink.

— How to be a propagandist healthy image life and a restaurant owner at the same time?

- Fine. People are understanding because they know my story, what happened to me, what I was like, they saw the changes.

But I don't want to mix the restaurant and my personal lifestyle. I did the restaurant when I had a certain vision and it turned out to be very successful. I have regular clients, and I don't want to force anything on them. Everyone decides for themselves what to eat and what to drink.

Sergey Dolya

About a personal trainer and nutritionist...in your pocket

— After the video was released, did you receive negative comments?

— No, there were no negative ones.

But I often see comments: “How could you let yourself go like that? I eat whatever I want and don’t get fat. How can you pigs get so fat?” But these people simply don’t understand that everyone’s body is different. Some may be strong and some may be weak, some may be tall and some may be short. Tall people They don’t say: “You freaks, why don’t you grow taller?!” Therefore, thin people simply do not understand the difficulties that people who are predisposed to obesity have to face. They are not from this planet.

- Look, if you seriously start working on your weight and counting calories, this topic will become interesting to you. If “well, I’ll try, I’ll do the math for a week, and then I’ll give up,” then you’re happy with everything anyway. And if you start counting calories and see that it really works, you will become interested, you will begin to get involved in the topic, you yourself will begin to study what you need in order for you to specifically begin to lose weight even faster. And then you will start reading additional literature, go to a nutritionist.

In this video I simplified a lot of things, but my task was to give a kick so that people would start doing it. And judging by the comments and views, I coped with the task.

— Do you have a nutritionist?

- Now yes. I use a paid app that allows me to stay in touch with him. I take pictures of everything I eat and send it to a nutritionist, and he gives his comments.

— How is sports included in your schedule?

— Due to the fact that I am constantly on the move, the gym was not immediately suitable for me. I needed to choose some set of exercises that I could do in a hotel alone without special equipment. I decided that I would just start doing push-ups, squats and ab crunches. Because this can be done in any room on the bed or nearby.

There are a lot of applications that can practically replace your personal trainer. You put your phone on the floor and touch it with your nose every push-up, and the app counts and tells you: “three more times, go ahead!” He did push-ups - “Well done! Three minutes rest! Ten seconds before the next approach, it says: “Get ready!” The application takes into account how many approaches you need today and how many times. It’s the same with squats, and with abs - with everything in the world. Everything is on your phone, the main thing is to study.

- All these calorie calculations, recording, accounting - doesn’t this take a lot of time and energy?

— These are the first three days, the first week. Then it becomes automatic and it takes 20 seconds to enter information about food into the phone.

Many things in life seem so difficult and impossible to us... But we just need to start. It seems difficult, but it turns out, on the contrary, exciting.

- Didn’t you think that all this - some applications, calories, grams - was stupid?..

- No, it really works. I lost 50 kg - is that stupid?

Of course, it happens that people around me, seeing how I enter this into the application, how I do all this, begin to laugh, but I don’t care. I believe that my health is much more important to me than someone else's giggles. As a result, when people see the result, they come up and admire it. There is a result - and everyone admits it.

About children

- You have two sons. How do they feel about your diet?

- No way. They do not care. They don't react to it at all.

- Do you forbid them to eat anything? Do you monitor their diet?

“I monitor their diet, but I don’t forbid it.” We even go to McDonald's.

- What are you doing there, looking at them?

- I'm eating ice cream. I eat salads. There is also a roll with shrimp, although it is very high in calories and costs 400 kcal. All this can be entered into the application, and you will see how many kcal there are.

— How do your sons feel about your fame?

- Well, they are rather happy. From time to time they say that, for example, a teacher came up to them and said that they liked my latest video or some post.

Family Share

— How does your family tolerate the fact that you are almost never at home?

- Rejoices (laughs).

Well, no, the children are certainly worried, but since my wife and I have been living together for 25 years, it’s probably good that we’re not together all the time. Because otherwise it would be difficult.

— Do you have enough communication with children?

- No, but every day when I’m here, we communicate with them. When I'm away, we communicate through social media, messengers, we use everything modern means communications.

— Do you think you educate them enough?

“I think that I have very well-mannered children, and I am very proud of them.”

— Is this your merit or your spouse’s?

- Of course, this is the merit of my wife. But also mine, of course. I think my wife sees them more often and raises them every day, but I really fix their brains. When I arrive, I have some intimate conversations, and I believe that they really perceive them and this is important for their development.

We are from Dubna ourselves, so we go there every weekend. My wife is driving her car, and I am driving a car with the boys. And these two hours on the road, since neither they nor I have anywhere to go, we talk with them about what happened in each person’s life, how they reacted to certain events, what they did right or wrong...

— What do you consider necessary to convey to them, to explain the most important thing to them?..

“It seems to me that the most important thing is that they have a core inside them.” And so that they are worthy people and behave with dignity. That is, so that they learn to separate the bad from the good. When a person has such an understanding, he still secretly strives to behave well.

Very often we do not see this line. We think: “Well, just think, what’s wrong with this, what’s there to worry about?” Often a person walks down the street, smokes, finishes smoking, and simply throws the cigarette on the lawn, and doesn’t even think about it. Because he does it every day. Take Columbus, for example. Columbus discovered America. And until the end of his life he could not believe that he had discovered a new continent, he thought that these were some islands in front of India. Because the new continent did not fit into his worldview. It’s the same as if we are now going to fly to the Moon and along the way we will find some new planet– we won’t be able to believe it. The same goes for people who throw bulls on the lawn. They never thought that this was bad; for them this is a normal system of behavior.

I want to teach my children to understand what is bad and what is good. Then at least if they act up, they'll know they're doing something wrong.

- You have everything written down, everything is taken into account, and do you also teach children such self-organization?

- Trying. I don't have any system to teach them to act like me. But I try to pass on my knowledge, skills and abilities.

I'm a fairly liberal parent. I understand that I am an example for them. I shouldn't force them, but I should make them interested and want to do it. It's much more difficult than just going out and forcing it. But if it works out, it is much more effective, and this will last a lifetime.
