Week #1

Things to do on the day of the release of patch 7.3:

• Start the Argus campaign by visiting Dalaran. You will automatically receive the quest Hand of Fate (Alliance/Horde).
• After completing the quest chain for week No. 1, you will gain access to the Krokuun and Antorus Wastes locations, open new world quests on Argus, quests for professions and envoys of new factions - Defenders of Argus and the Army of Light.
• After the quest Gift of Light, start a side quest in the Class Hall (Supplies from the Looming Shadow Ridge) to unlock new equipment, higher level of tokens for champions, new types of units.
• Artifact Knowledge is now passive, and all players will reach level 41 Artifact Knowledge, gaining it 4 times faster than usual. Those who need the Coherence of the Legionbane Army or other traits will be able to get them quite quickly.
• If you have an artifact weapon on an alt that hasn't done many quests, the artifact's progress will go faster. You don't need a class hall campaign to unlock the third relic, nor do you need a Broken Shore campaign for Artifact Empowered Talents. Just insert some relics and continue to discover new talents.
• For PvP fans - a new season and new equipment.

Week #2

What to do in the second week of update 7.3

• Continue through the Dark Awakening quest chain, in which you will learn the continuation of events on Argus (and more specifically, in Krokuun and Mac'Aree). This quest chain will unlock 2 new features of the Matrix Core, and will also provide access to world quests in the Nat'raxa Fortress and Mac'Aree.
• Complete quests in new locations unlocked as you progress through the main story. This will earn you reputation with the Defenders of Argus and allow you to quickly achieve reverence with this faction - the reward for this will be the Krokul Flute, which will simplify movement in the new world.
• Upon completion of the Argus campaign in week two, Invasion Points will become available. To unlock Massive Invasion Points and unlock local bosses, complete the missions Where We Are Not Waited for and Invasion Point Attack.
• Gather a group to destroy local bosses - maybe you'll get lucky and get your level 930 loot. Remember that Seal of Broken Fate increases your chances of getting it.
• Travel to Mac'Aree to unlock local teleporters and make it easier to travel around Argus.
• Get the Argus Exploration achievement to move faster on mounts within Argus.
• Continue through the quest chain Class Hall, Ruins of Oranaar to receive Mac'Aree Equipment, Void-Cleansed Krokul, as well as Mac'Aree Quests.
• Complete the special Arcatraz questline to unlock another Matrix Core ability.

Week No. 2 (from 6.09):

• Complete the main quest line to always be ready to discover new content - dungeons and the Crucible of Netherlight.
• Continue farming reputation with the Army of Light and Defenders of Argus. World quests that will open in the second week will bring quite a lot of reputation with the Defenders of Argus. In addition, do not forget about the buffs from the Darkmoon Fair - with them, leveling up your reputation will go faster.
• Get a Fel-Stained Egg and wait - maybe your reward will be one of the new mounts or pets.
• Work towards the achievements required for the Argus Paragon and Shoot Now, Loot Later. As you gain new Matrix Core abilities, you will be able to find and open more chests for the second achievement.
• Destroy any Rarelings you encounter to get the Argus Commander achievement (remember that the reward for your efforts will be the Equipment Set: Lightforged Weapons).
• Fishermen also have something to do - cast a line into the waters of Argus to catch a Pond Wren, and also continue farming reputation for the Darklight Emerald.

Content to come later

The content of patch 7.3 will be somewhat extended over time - it will be revealed gradually. All content for Patch 7.3 will be available by the beginning of the third week after the patch is released.

• After Week 2 of the Argus Campaign, players will be able to unlock Invasion Points. Complete the initial quests 1 and 2 to unlock Great Invasion Points, where you can fight the world bosses of Argus.
• Weeks 2 and 3 will also open up the Mac'Aree location and world quests there, as well as new world quests in Krokuun.

Argus Locations

Argus and Vindicare

Planet Argus consists of three locations: Krokuun, Mac'Aree and the Antorian Wastes. The main quest hub of patch 7.3 will be the draenei ship on which players will arrive to Argus.

• The Vindicare ship and the planet Argus can be unlocked by completing a quest chain starting with the Hand of Fate quest (Alliance/Horde).
• Completing individual stages of the Argus campaign will unlock new world quests. Completing these quests will give you reputation with the Army of Light and the Defenders of Argus.
• As you progress through the Argus campaign, you will unlock special beacons that will allow you to quickly move around the location. You can teleport between two beacons or a Vindicare instantly and for free.
• On Argus you can find many rare monsters, treasure chests and world quests that reward the Smokey Argunite currency. You can use it to buy equipment from merchants on the Vindicare.

Krokuun

• The first 2 stages of the Argus campaign take place in the Krokuun location. After completing the quest Child of Light and Darkness, you will unlock quests for the profession and quartermasters of new factions.
• World quests that open in week #1: Krokuun, Petrified Forest and Antorus Wastes. The Class Hall mission chain also opens as you complete quests in Krokuun.
• The deadly things in Krokuun are the Fel-Reaver (similar to Kingaroth's Destroyer) and the Corrupted Tornado.

Antorus Wastes

This location is more free to explore than Krokuun. There are fewer campaign-related quests and more rare creatures and collectibles.

• World quests in the Antorus Wastes give reputation only with the Army of Light.
• The entrance to the raid dungeon is located in the Antorus Wastes.
• Players can turn in the item Invulnerable Demon Eye for the NPC Oryx the All-Seeing and receive rewards for it like Cross Gazer and Eye of the All-Seeing.

Mac'Aree

This location was previously considered the pearl of Argus - the Eredar culture flourished here. This area was mentioned twice earlier in the game: "The Purple Hills of Mac'Aree" and Jessera of Mac'Aree.

The location contains many historically important tasks, as well as cinematic inserts and flashbacks telling the story of the fall of the Eredar and the escape of Velen.

Part of Mac'Aree's story became available on September 6, and the final segment of this story will open on September 13.

• World quests in this location grant reputation with Defenders of Argus.
• The entrance to the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon is located in Mac'Aree.

Content improvements and changes

Dungeons

• A new dungeon in Patch 7.3, Seat of the Triumvirate, will be added to the game after the completion of the Argus campaign (after week #3).
• The base damage and health of monsters in Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+ dungeons has been increased. At the same time, the rewards for completing these dungeons have also been improved.
• Players will only need +10 keys to get the maximum rewards from the weekly chest (reward level has been increased to 935).

Equipment

Some improvements for dressing alts in 7.3:

• The level of items in dungeons has been increased: 845 in normal, 865 in heroic and 885 in Mythic dungeons.
• World quests now scale to a maximum of item level 895.
• New players at level 110 automatically gain passive Artifact Knowledge and no longer have to complete knowledge chain 1-40.
• You no longer need to complete the class hall campaign and Broken Shore to unlock a third artifact relic slot and buffed talents.
• New heirloom neck item - Man'ari Training Amulet.
• 2 types of tokens on Argus: Unsullied tokens – drop from rarities, chests and are given for Invasion Points; Discarded Tokens - Purchased for 650 Smokey Argunite (new currency).
• New craftable gear starts at level 885 and can be upgraded to 935 through Primal Obliteration.
• Starting from week #2, world bosses at Invasion Points will drop level 930 items.

Artifacts

Artifacts have had improved appearance, talents, artifact knowledge, and a third slot for relics.

• For new artifacts, the slot for the third relic will immediately be open.
• The 2nd, 3rd and 4th Artifact Secret Skin skins will be unlocked after you complete the requirements for them after obtaining this artifact skin(previously it was necessary for the requirements to be met, while the artifact is equipped). This makes it easier to get new coloring pages.
• Artifact knowledge is now passive and even new level 110 players will have the same amount of PROs as experienced raiders.

Classes

Some casters had their animation redone - restoring druids, mages, shamans and priests.

Feral Druids and Frost DK received a lot of changes in patch 7.3. Changes to other classes are expected in patch 7.3.5.

Class Hall Champions

Champions have received many improvements and innovations, as well as new mechanics.

• Followers can now be upgraded to item level 950 with the following sets: Krokul Armor Set, Mac'ari Armor Set, Xenodar Armor Set. Previous sets no longer work.

2. Quests and the process of leveling up your reputation with the Defenders of Argus

2.1. Story missions on Argus

2.2. World quests of the Defenders of Argus

4.3. Stronghold quests on Argus and tokens for leveling up reputation

To unlock the Stronghold quests and Companions on Argus (Krokul Gear), you must complete the 16-hour Memories of Darkfall Pass quest. The task table can be found on board the Vindicaar, at coordinates 69, 54, so you won’t have to return to the stronghold.
