In terms of structure and design, the deck is beautiful and concise. The difficulties begin when you look at the deck superficially. Trying to tie everything to classical meanings gives a very “flat”, poor feeling from the deck. I sin with love for ghouls. Even once in a past life I wrote a novel on this blessed topic. The novel is still lying on the table, because no one here needs literature, and publishing at your own expense and then selling books on trains is definitely not my style. My approach to the deck was simple. I didn’t read the MBK, I just worked through the cards with a forecast for each day, and then, after thinking about it, I realized that each arcana is similar to some hero of my unpublished novel and his story. Of course, I won’t describe it here and I physically can’t, since I have to read the whole book to understand. I’m talking about this version of interpreting the deck to understand that creativity and Tarot are not just compatible things, but inextricably linked.
