Kyiv Academy of Hairdressing is a higher educational institution with many years of experience in training specialists in the field of fashion, beauty and design!

About studying at the academy

Studying proccess. More than 50 interesting and useful disciplines are studied at the Academy in each specialty. The educational process uses modern teaching methods and innovative technologies with the issuance of teaching aids and training materials. KAPI has developed and implemented the author's teaching methodology "Modular course SKR", the rector of the Academy is the author of the first Ukrainian textbook "Hairstyle Design".

Free electives. For students, the Academy conducts elective courses in fashion design, photography, defile, acting, foreign language and choreography in the show-ballet "Epatage" free of charge.

Material and technical base for training. Classes are held in specially equipped design laboratories, classrooms with makeup and hairdressing places, creative workshops for painting and drawing, and lecture rooms. KAPI has a photo studio, podium and dance halls, a library, computer classes, free Wi-Fi.

Academy teachers. The success of any training depends on the Teacher. Each KAPI teacher, in addition to high qualifications and experience, has a creative approach, shows love for the profession, a desire to develop and give knowledge to students. Each teacher is a personality, an artist and a caring mentor. Among our teachers: candidates of sciences; members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; winners of international professional competitions, winners of many honorary awards, leading specialists and top stylists.

Practice and employment. Starting from the first year, students are sent to practice in the best beauty salons, theaters, television, design studios, ateliers, fashion houses, advertising agencies, etc. KAPI graduates are in high demand among employers. This is evidenced by the constant receipt of applications with job offers, which are posted in KAPI on a special bulletin board.

International activity. The Academy is a member of the World Confederation of Hairdressers (CMC - Paris). This allows our students and teachers to adopt the best experience of world stylists, improve their skills abroad, master world fashion trends, participate in international competitions and championships. Students and teachers of the Academy already have numerous victories in international competitions and in the SMS World Cup!

Cultural and creative activities and creative projects. Talented students of the Academy, together with teachers, work on the creation of each issue of the Lokon magazine (founded and published by KAPI) and on the collections and creative projects of the Fensha-studio Kapriz. Students who want to dance can prove themselves in the show-ballet "Outrageous" at KAPI.

In a creative educational institution, students should be able to realize their creative potential and initiative. Therefore, the Academy constantly holds cultural and creative events, show programs and shows. Traditional events of the Academy: show "Hello Academy!"; enchanting "New Year's show program"; competition "Miss KAPI" and competitions for beginners "Spring Fantasy".

The grandiose and global annual event of the entire CAMP team is the International Festival of Hairdressing, Fashion and Design "Crystal Angel", which our Academy organizes and conducts to develop the creative capabilities of its students. The festival, as a kind of annual test exam, demonstrates the high level of training and professionalism of KAPI students and teachers.
