Course "Talisman Magic - 2":

Without consecration and your personal activation, it will act as a chip built into the energy of space (if you place it indoors) or into your aura (if you carry it with you) and its action will be more mechanical (due to symbolism and direct purpose) and follow the path of least resistance. So, for example, an unconsecrated talisman of wealth can bring its owner what he wants by receiving an inheritance. What if it was someone very close to you?

Preparatory stage:

Working with talisman stones Very often, occultists (and ordinary people too) use various minerals, semi-precious and precious stones as talismans. In general, the word "talisman" comes from the Greek "telesma", which translates as "mysterious initiation ceremony." Since ancient times, people have attributed various mystical properties to stones. We will not delve into the properties and sympathies of minerals in detail, you can find out on your own, for example, from the work of B. Kulikov "The ABC of Gems" (Beliefs about stones, M .: - "TERRA". 1996), we will try to systematize and to generalize for many cases various methods of ritual consecration of this kind of talismans.
Preparations. First of all, you need to determine the object's like class. For example, aquamarine is easy to associate with the elements "water" and the archangel Gabriel, while, for example, coal or emerald - the elements of Earth. The moonstone obviously sympathizes with the "planet" (here we mean the occult planet (or the archetype according to Jung), and not the astronomical satellite) the Moon, as well as pearls. Then you can continue to explore in the appropriate area by identifying additional stone connections. For example, turquoise, in addition to its "airy" properties, is considered a stone of the zodiac sign Taurus. Continuing the chain in this way, we calculate all the correspondences we need.
Then, according to the correspondences, according to the tables, the time of the ritual is found, candles are properly installed, and the altar is prepared.
The last preparation in consecration should be the physical cleansing of the stone. This includes washing, wiping, cutting (if necessary) and other physical activities.
Components of the ritual.
opening ritual.
Chalice ritual.

The ritual of conjuring the cardinal points (orientation to call the necessary forces).

9. Go West.
10. Say: "Uncleansed by the powers of water, you cannot pass through the gates of the West."
11. Sprinkle the talisman, visualize how the water "removes" what the fire "burned out".
12. Say: "I cleanse with water."
13. Go North.
14. Say: "Uncleansed by the powers of the earth, you cannot pass through the gates of the North."
15. Sprinkle the talisman with salt, visualize how the stone "absorbs" the spirit of salt.
16. Say: "I cleanse with the earth."
17. Return to the altar.
18. Say: "Thus, the talisman has been purified by the powers of the four elements and is ready for consecration."

7. Take the rod of earth.
8. Touch it to the stone. Say: "I sanctify with the earth."
9. Take an athame. Say: "I thus declare that the talisman has been properly cleansed and consecrated."
Strengthening the talisman.
Take the rainbow mace by the red-orange part.
Gather to her the energy of the planet Venus evoked by the planetary ritual.
Direct energy into the talisman, visualizing the process of gathering.
Say: “In the name of the archangel Raphael and the planetary spirit Anael, I create this talisman. May he be my support and my success in life. In the name of the Creator, be created, the spirit of the talisman.
Visualize how, after being filled with energy, an even greenish-blue aura arose around the talisman, pulsing in a single rhythm.
Say: "It's done."
Notes: This example shows how easy it is to use standard methods to carry out a rather complicated procedure of purification, consecration and creation of a talisman. This ritual is easy to expand by changing some of the key phrases to your own. I hope now it will not be difficult for you to consecrate your favorite brooch or ring.

It is in order to protect oneself from a similar undesirable and side effect of the activity of the talisman that consecration is carried out.
The consecration of a talisman is not programming it for action and not even turning it on. The talisman works without it. But the consecration of the talisman is like a sacred act, an invitation from God and the Higher Powers to help you direct the action of the talisman along the most favorable path for you and your family.
If you have purchased several talismans at once and are going to use them to correct the space, then in this case you do not have to charge the talisman of one group (to protect housing or, for example, to activate the wealth zone) each separately. You can consecrate them all at once by reading the appropriate prayer over them, which we can offer you or use our own.
But if you want to use a magical item as a personal one - for wearing or for correcting your own energy, then it is advisable to conduct a full ritual of activation and consecration of the talisman, which is described below. This will tune the magic item exactly to your vibrations, and will allow you to quickly get in touch with its magical power and get the energy you need to fulfill your desire.
Preparatory stage:
You will need a church wax candle, incense, a pen for writing.
Retire in a quiet pleasant environment, light a candle and incense, turn on light calm music and proceed to consecrate and activate your magical item.
Without taking it out of the package, carefully read the information about it in order to better understand how and why it works. While working with it, make sure that the image is not upside down.
Activation of a magic item (talisman, amulet, pentacle, module):
Now, still without unpacking it, place it at eye level, and sit for 10-15 minutes, calmly contemplating its image. Tune in to your magic item. Listen to the feelings and thoughts that arise in you, think about your desires and dreams that you want to realize. Realize this magical object as a symbolic personification of your desire, an assistant and guide to the desired reality. So, for example, the talisman of wealth is a guide to the world of abundance and prosperity, and the talisman of protection - to the world where you become invulnerable to enemies and dangers, the talisman of love - to the world where you love and are loved. Contemplate the image of a magical object for as long as you want, let your thoughts and fantasies take you on the wings of a dream to where your desire becomes a reality. While contemplating a magical object, try to clearly articulate your desire. Try to keep it not abstract, but concrete. The more specifically you define it, the easier and faster it will be implemented in your life. Remember his formula - then you will use it in a sanctifying prayer.
The very contemplation of a magical object will saturate you with the necessary energy, give you a huge recharge and direct the course of your thoughts in the direction necessary for the realization of your desire.
Maintaining a meditative state, now take your magic item out of the package.
If you activate the talisman-sticker, then remove it from the substrate and put your signature or draw a monogram (a decorative sign made up of the first letters of your first and last name) on its reverse side. This will strengthen your connection with the talisman and indicate its personal belonging to you.
Consecration of a Magic Item:
Place the magic item on the left palm face up and say a sanctifying prayer - an appeal to God:
Oh my God! Created everything from nothing! Creator of the visible and the invisible! You yourself are an inexhaustible source of abundance, Father of bounty and all mercy. Send, Lord, Your Holy Spirit on this thing, put Your good power into it, enliven it with Your holy breath of life, and may it serve for salvation and good for me and my family and for fulfillment (clearly and clearly express the formula of desire) according to your own appointment to Your glory, Lord. Amen.
After that, create a blessing over the magical object three times, for this, slightly waving over it (without touching it), with your right hand from top to bottom with the words: “Bless, Lord!”. (You can see the gesture of blessing on Orthodox icons and on Buddhist or other images of deities). This action connects the magic item to the Higher Powers and lowers their energy onto the item itself.
The ritual of the consecration of the talisman is completed.
After that, you can use your item of power, but let the candle burn out to the end.
Although the ritual we have indicated is universal for people of any religion, you can use your own prayers, according to your religion. For example, Orthodox Christians can read the prayer “For the consecration of every thing”, Buddhists can use the appropriate mantras, etc.
To enhance the work of the talisman, it is recommended to conduct meditation more often - contemplation on the talisman. It focuses and concentrates (thickens) your thoughts for their embodiment in reality, and also saturates you with the necessary energy. And the mental pronunciation of the formula of desire at the same time helps to strengthen your intention in achieving the goal and speeds up events.

Man lives not only in the world of forms and objects, but also in the world of energies. He may not feel or see them with his eyes, but this in no way frees him from interacting with them. Just as it is impossible to "see" an electric current, so we do not see other energies, but their presence or absence is felt by us physically. This is easy to prove. Try taking a candy wrapper and a five-hundred-ruble bill and cutting them up and you'll feel the difference. Of course, this does not mean that the bill itself generates monetary energy, no. But it is the conductor of this energy exactly to the extent that it is supported by human consciousness and how significant it is in society.
Each person subconsciously feels the energy of the objects around him. Any living being and any thing has its own individual energy characteristics. The range of energies perceived and emitted by a person is quite wide. The state of affairs of a person in the area for which this energy is responsible also depends on the excess or lack of a certain type of energy. For example, a lack of creative energy will immediately affect success in business and creative self-realization, and a lack of love energies will cause problems in relationships with the opposite sex. A decrease in the general tone of the body and vital energy will immediately attract illnesses or negative influences from the outside.
Therefore, it is natural for each person to strive to compensate or replenish the energy he lacks or to balance the available one.
It is this task that talismans and amulets, as well as other magical objects of power, are called upon to perform. Some serve as invisible helpers for a person to realize his goals, others are energy condensers, others harmonize space, others protect, etc., but they all have one thing in common - they give a person the energy that he lacks. They give confidence and strength to the weak, they open opportunities for prosperity to the poor, they help the unfortunate in love to find their mate.
The history of talismans and amulets is so ancient that it is difficult to trace its origin. It seemed that talismans and amulets always accompanied a person. Perhaps they are echoes of the ancient civilizations of Maya or Atlantis, far superior to us in terms of their knowledge and abilities.
The living soul of the talisman is a teraphim. This is a force or a deity, caused and concentrated by the will of the magician in a talisman. Making a talisman is quite complicated. To do this, the magician requires knowledge from a variety of areas - astrology, numerology, religion, etc., as well as the ability to see energies and interact with subtle beings. Properly designed talismans and amulets last for centuries and even millennia.
Amulets are in principle similar to the action of talismans, although the role of amulets is more attributed to the former. Therefore, everything that is said about talismans applies to them.
Pentacles also serve as conductors of the energies of the planets and various forces. Certain signs and symbols force spirits to obey the will of a person and contribute to the fulfillment of his desires in the area to which they belong. For example, the sphere of influence of Venus is traditionally love, beauty, harmony, peace, prosperity, joy, success with the opposite sex. Therefore, the pentacle of Venus will contribute to the acquisition of these benefits.
Bio-energy-information modules. The name itself speaks of their scope. They affect a person through his consciousness - they clear the mind of restless thoughts, calm it down, improve health, have a general beneficial effect on the entire body, awaken hidden abilities, improve sleep, and give access to new levels of consciousness.

Consecration of the amulet with four elements.

To consecrate the amulet, you need to go to a deserted place, where there are no strangers and where no one will interfere with you, when you arrive at the place, collect firewood for a fire, lay down a life-giving fire, firewood is placed in a hut or pyramid, i.e. you put the logs up with one end, in no case a well, this is a funeral fire, in ancient times our ancestors called it steal.

Bring water with you and pour it into a wide-mouthed vessel or into a cup. Loosen, slightly, the ground nearby. So you have prepared three elements, the air is always around you.

So, before consecration, you turn around at sunrise and ask for blessings from the Gods and the Most High Family to consecrate the amulet with 4 elements, the appeal can be pronounced in your own words, from the soul that comes from the heart.

Rode the Most High, reveal to us your Holy essence, by the Holy Fire of Your Light!

Come as Father Svarog and Lada Mother, manifest as Gods Relatives,

And above all, Fire God-Semargl.

Let the Holy Fire of Heaven descend into the fire of the earth,

Let the Earthly Orthodox Family unite with the Heavenly Family

And he will arrive in the unity of the Family of the Most High!

Rod the Almighty! I call Your life-giving Light!

The power of Father Svarog and Lada Mother, all the Light Gods,

Come and bless this water!

Dana-Voditsa, living krynitsa,

I pour you out of the horn, I pray to Rod-Father!

Bring us health and cleanse our bodies, oh shine on our thoughts,

Renew and enrich life in the bodies and souls of Orthodox people.

May strength be in our kind,

May our children become ten times stronger

Twenty times richer, but hundreds of times wiser than us!

So be it! Glory to the Mother Gods!

After reading, we put Perunitsa on ourselves, and we illuminate the water with three Perunits, put burning wood chips, a branch or a log on the water, while we say three times: “Let the Living Water be blessed.” Next, we begin the rite of consecration itself with the elements of the amulet. We take the amulet in the right hand and read the prayer to Fire for lighting, repeat three times.

I call Fire Holy Svarozhy,

Righteous Spirit, great of God,

The burning power of the Gods of the Relatives:

Come to the worthy descendants!

Come, God, sanctify!

Next, let's get up. raise the amulet above your head, turn it clockwise, by the stake, or you light the dry grass of bitter wormwood and fumigate your amulet, and read a prayer to Stribog, the God of the winds, we read it three times.

I call the Holy Stribozhy Wind, the Righteous Spirit,

Great God, the flying power of the Gods of the Relatives:

Come to the worthy descendants!

Come, God bless!

Now we take a vessel with illuminated water, dip the amulet there and read the prayer to Dana Voditsa three times.

I call Water-Voditsa, Holy Student,

Righteous Spirit, Dana the Goddess,

The power of the flowing Gods of the Relatives:

Come to the worthy descendants!

I call the Earth-Earth, Holy Protection,

Righteous Spirit, Makosh the Goddess,

The strength of the firmament of the Gods of the Relatives:

Come to the worthy descendants!

Come, God, sanctify!

Chapter I. Origin of Talismans

T An alisman is any object, spiritual or profane, with or without the appropriate symbols inscribed on it, not consecrated, or consecrated by the proper rites of magic or meditation. Among all others, it has the effect of self-hypnosis on the wearer. It is made for a specific purpose, to gain success in a particular area of life, or to achieve some specifically named benefit. The amulet has a similar effect as a guarding conspiracy, it is worn to protect oneself from troubles, illnesses, bad luck or witchcraft. Later in this guide, the term "talisman" will be used. It must be emphasized that I have no significant objection to the theory of suggestion, since it clearly implies that suggestion cannot be introduced or evoked from the psyche if it is not already present in it. Suggestion is only the activation of innate spiritual and mental factors.

According to the teachings of the Order of the Golden Dawn (as a more competent source), the talisman is

"it is a magical drawing, charged with the Forces it is supposed to represent. When creating a talisman, care must be taken that the signs presented on it are in exact accordance with those universal Forces that you are trying to attract, and the more accurate the symbolism, the easier it attracts Strength ... other equally important things consecration at the right hour, etc."

In the West, talismans have traditionally been carved with words and phrases in Hebrew, which demonstrates the significant influence of the Kabbalah, or sometimes in Latin or Greek. The student should not attempt to make a talisman without being thoroughly familiar with the occult and philosophical principles underlying the Kabbalah. That is, he must have certain knowledge about the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its philosophy. But now and here there is no need for a lengthy study of these principles.

Sigils and pentacles are given in some books, which depict complex symbols and names, but their Greek-Hebrew and Latin origins are almost impossible to determine. (By the way, the word "Sigil" simply means "signature". Thus, the sigil of the Archangel is actually a symbolic signature of this Essence. These sigils were originally compiled from the handed down Cameos or magic squares, which will be described in the corresponding course). They will not be discussed here, because first of all, a clear, meaningful and workable system is needed.

A variety of symbols from almost every conceivable source were used to compose inscriptions and to specify the active purpose for which the talisman was composed. The most common are planetary and zodiac symbols.

In addition, the symbols and designs were arbitrarily derived from the sixteen basic symbols of geomancy, the origin of which is lost in the obscurity of the past. These sixteen symbols, assigned to twelve signs and seven planets, can in turn be divided into four elements, as shown in the diagram in the appendix. Thus, it only takes a little imagination to transform traditional symbols into a variety of designs, figures, emblems, etc. that bring the geomantic meaning into action.

These symbols alone are enough to create a beautiful and effective talisman without any outside help. For example, this talisman I made many years ago uses only geomantic symbols. He still impresses me with his successful drawing.

In the old days, most talismans were based on the twelve signs of the zodiac or the seven planets known at the time. In other words, most items that could be of interest were classified according to one of these symbols. Subsequently, since the planets were considered the rulers of the twelve zodiacal signs, they began to be used more as categories into which the purposes of talismans were divided. A classic example of this sevenfold division of talismans can be found in the Great Key of Solomon, from which I have taken these quotes:

In the Days and Hours of Saturn, you must undertake an experiment ... to provoke good or bad luck regarding deeds, possessions, property, seeds, fruits and similar things; to gain knowledge; to cause destruction and destruction, to sow discord and hatred.

Days and Hours of Jupiter good for gaining honor, mastering wealth; conclusion of friendship, promotion of health; and achievement in whatever you desire.

In the Days and Hours of Mars you can conduct experiments on War to achieve military glory, to gain fearlessness; defeat enemies; and moreover, cause destruction, slaughter, cruelty, discord; injure or kill.

Days and Hours of the Sun most suitable for successful experiments regarding worldly wealth, hope, profit, happiness, predictions, the favor of princes, in order to get rid of hostility and make friends.

Days and Hours of Venus good for acquiring friendship, for affection and love, for merry and pleasant enterprises, and for travelling.

Days and Hours of Mercury well suited for everything related to eloquence and intelligence; progress in business; science and predictions; miracles; visions; prediction of the future. You can also act under [protection] for theft, writing, cheating and trading.

Days and Hours of the Moon suitable for embassies, voyages, delegations; messages; navigation; reconciliation; love and to receive goods by water".

For example, if I wish for fame and prestige, then Jupiter will be the planet that governs such matters, and it is necessary to make a talisman using all the possible symbols of Jupiter that I could collect. Or, if I need assertiveness and aggressiveness to apply for a new, higher-paying position, or fearlessness to defeat a political opponent, then Mars will be a talisman planet, and the symbols to be collected should be related to war. If I desire the love of a beautiful woman, then Venus will have a major influence. And so on.

An important point needs to be emphasized. A talisman made by the student himself, even if not as beautiful and not strongly in line with tradition as those given in some of the above texts, will nevertheless be more meaningful and effective for him. His earnest attempt to collect the symbols and draw them will of itself surround the talisman with energy and forces which will serve to bring about the desired result.

Here is one of the main instructions from the "Great Key of King Solomon", which deserves attention:

"I command you, my Son, to carefully imprint in your memory everything that I say to you and never forget it. Even if you are going to use with good intentions the secrets that I reveal to you, remember: it is better to throw this Testament into the fire, than to abuse the power that you will receive by commanding the Spirits, for I remind you that the good Angels, tired of your foolish demands, will carry out the command of God to your destruction, just as they will punish anyone who abuses the knowledge of those secrets that God has given me .. ."

The traditional magic squares, sigils, and hierarchical names that have come down to us through the abbot Trithemius, Peter de Abano, and Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa were taken from earlier but unknown sources. For the most part, they were transferred to Barrett's The Magus, from where they were adapted by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in the last century, and from there were reprinted by me during the preparation of materials for the fourth volume. "Golden Dawn". I would recommend to interested students to study the system on it in order to come to an understanding of the classical foundations of the method.

The magic squares of the planets, which are in the appendix to this book, are an essential part of the science of the structure of talismans. Each planet corresponds, firstly, to the number of the Sephirah to which it belongs, and secondly, to additional numbers, which are the sums of different rows and columns of squares.

For example, Saturn is the planetary symbol for Binah, the third Sephirah on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. So the Saturn Square has three cells in each direction with a number in each of them, and the result is the number of its square - 3x3 = 9, it uses all the numbers from one to nine, which are arranged in such a way that the columns in any direction add up to 15 , and three columns together - 45.

The square of Jupiter, the planet corresponding to the fourth Sephirah Chesed, has sides divided into four parts, or 4x4, which gives 16 cells, the sum of each line is 34, and the total is 136.

Here is an example of the Square of Mars representing the fifth Sephirah of Geburah. Each side has 5 cells for a total of 25, and each row from left to right and from top to bottom gives a total of 65, and the total is 325.

Similarly, four such numbers for the Sun would be 6, 36, 111, and 666, respectively. The planet Venus is represented by 7, 49, 175, and 1225. The planet Mercury is represented by the numbers 8, 64, 260, and 2080. The moon has the numbers 9, 81, 369, and 3321 .

Each number in turn corresponds to a name, as, for example, in the case of Mercury, which corresponds to the eighth Sephirah Hod. His number 64 is DIN, a name meaning Justice, or its variant DNI, Doni. His next number 260 is Tiriel, TIRIAL, the name of the Genius of this Sephirah, and 2080 is Taftartarat, TPTRTRT, representing the Spirit of Mercury. In each of these examples, the sigils can be drawn on a suitable square, following the direction of the numbers.

The main method of using the Magic Squares is the permutation of the Hebrew letters and numbers, called the "Kabbalah of the Nine Chambers". It is based on this 3x3 table (nine Chambers):

This arrangement is called Eik Becker. Reading from right to left, we get Aleph=1, Yod=10, Kuf=100. In the second chamber - Bet=2, Kaph=20 and Resh=200. According to AIQ BKR.

This arrangement of Ike Becker is certainly important for the construction of Sigils or Symbols from the names of the planetary Spirits. First, it is necessary to reduce these letters and their numbers to tens or ones, as mentioned above. For example, let's take the name Zazel, the Spirit of Saturn, his letters are Zain=7, Aleph=1, Zain=7 and Lamed=30. The only letter to be reduced in this case would be Lamed, which decreases to 3. The next step is to draw a continuous line on the magic square of Saturn. Since this is Zazel's name, the line will start at 7, continue to 1, return to 7 again, and end at 3. A small circle is drawn on the first letter of the Sigil to indicate the beginning of the name.

To illustrate this classic operation, we will, for example, extract from the square of Mars, the Sigil of the Genius Bartsabel. In Hebrew, this name is spelled as: Bet, Resh, Tzaddi, Bet, Aleph, Lamed, 2, 200, 90, 2, 1, 30. The three letters Resh, Tzaddi and Lamed, are reduced by Hayk Becker, removing their zeros. Now, according to the numbers obtained, 2, 2, 9, 2, 1, 3, we can draw the following Sigil:

Sigil of Bartzabel superimposed on the cameo of Mars

Another more prosaic example of drawing a sigil from magic squares can be seen in my name Israel. Let's translate it into Hebrew: Yod, Shin, Resh, Aleph, Lamed, or 10, 300, 200, 1, 30. For demonstration purposes only, suppose we want to draw it from the square of the Sun given among the other cameos in the appendix.

Shin and Resh must be reduced with the help of Ike Becker, as a result of which we get 30 and 20. Thus, to compose the sigil, we will take the numbers 10, 30, 20, 1 and 30 from the square.

We will demonstrate this method again, mainly to illustrate the ease of extracting sigils and magical designs from various cameos. Let's take the name Carr. In Hebrew it would be Kaf, Aleph, Resh, Resh, or 20, 1, 200, 200.

The letters of this name can be superimposed on each planetary cameo, producing different sigils with different planetary meanings. For example, to make a sigil for Saturn, one would reduce the letters, using Ike Becker, to 2, 1, 2, and 2. This sigil would look like this:

On the cameo of Jupiter, which has four cells on each side, we get the following sigil:

At first glance, it definitely looks like an inverted sigil of Saturn. Obviously, this is quite logical, since Saturn is binding, and Jupiter, on the contrary, is expanding. Consider also the name on the square of Mars. The reduction procedure is now performed differently. Resh, 200, in this case decreases to 20, not 2. The resulting Sigil will look like this:

Most of the Sigils of this name drawn from other cameos will also be very similar, from which some remarks may arise. Critical students at this point may notice that Karr is not a common name and the demonstration should be done with more common names. For example - John (JOHN), if translated into Hebrew, you get Yochanon (Yochanon):

In the case of using the cameo of the Sun, both letters Nun must be reduced according to Hayk Bekker to 5 and 7. The sigil inscribed on the cameo of the Sun will look like this:

This set of interesting and varied drawings shows major changes in the numerical value of a name as it passes from one planetary influence to another. This means that the name first works as one set of waves or frequencies, then as another, and so on. fluctuating over a wide frequency range. The use of a certain frequency or cameo directly depends on the desired result. And this, in turn, requires a certain understanding of the basic meaning of the planets in traditional astrology.

By the way, there are slight differences for this scheme depending on whether the traditional Jewish system of gematria or numerology is used, or the newer numerology called Pythagorean. The only criterion is consistency. If one of the two systems is used, it is important that it be used in all operations. There are no definite arguments in favor of choosing one or another system. You just have to be consistent and understand what you are doing.

In the Western system of numerology, the letters have the following meanings:

(I put an "*" next to K and V because they are considered Major Numbers and should not decrease if possible).

Previously, I used the name JOHN (John), translated into Hebrew. Now let's save the English letters and the name using the Western or Pythagorean system. J, O, H, N, or 1, 6, 8, 5. Using the cameo of the Moon for our example, and the name JOHN drawn over it gives the following sigil:

For the next example, let's take the name of my friend Vincent. V, I, N, C, E, N, T or 4, 9, 5, 3, 5, 5, 2. (Usually in Western numerology, vowels are separated from consonants, but for making sigils, we will not follow this rule ). So, suppose that Vincent wants to achieve success in his life by making the sigil of his name on the cameo of Jupiter, thereby connecting himself with the vast powers of the Giver of Jupiter, the sigil superimposed on the cameo of Jupiter might look like this:

Or the Sigil that may be on the Sun cameo to establish the relationship between Vincent and the Source of Life, Light and well-being:

These few examples suffice to demonstrate that both the Kabbalistic and Pythagorean number systems can be used with equal advantage to create sigils from traditional squares.

Chapter II. How to overcome adverse aspects

Let's look at another aspect of this topic. Suppose you have a horoscope drawn up by an experienced astrologer and the drawing shows that most of the planets are in air signs (Gemini, Libra or Aquarius). If they are badly aspected, then these planets can be interpreted in the natal chart as rather unstable, relatively unstable and impractical. In order to compensate for this, a talisman can be crafted to balance the unfavorable aspects of the card. For these purposes, the talisman of Saturn is most suitable.

Saturn is not only death, the one who tests, the burden of life, which has to be patiently carried on the shoulders. It also represents balance, balance and stability. This is the third Sephirah of the Tree of Life - Binah, the symbol of which is a triangle, the initial geometric figure, symbolizing harmony and order. "The Mind of the Father said, 'Into Three,' and immediately all things were divided in this way." So say the Chaldean Oracles. Also, the trinity is the main doctrine of the Golden Dawn. "There are always two opposing forces, and a third that eternally reconciles them."

Thus, it is logical that the Talisman of Saturn can serve as an excellent symbolic corrective for a natal chart heavily influenced by air signs.

The first thing to do is to gather together all the symbols of Saturn as far as possible. Astrological symbols, geomantic and geometric symbols, Hebrew letters, corresponding divine names referring to the corresponding Sephirah of the Tree of Life, etc. After collecting them, choose some phrase, biblical or otherwise, that accurately contains the desired goal - stability. And gradually experiment with different sketches, one by one, until you feel that this is the one that best suits its purpose and also suits aesthetically.

Here is a sample sketch that you can use as a base, or as a hint:

It contains most of the most important symbols peculiar to Saturn in its highest spiritual aspect. Effort concentrated on drawing or drawing this talisman may, in itself, be sufficient to eliminate the imbalance and dissipation of mental energy that often accompanies Air signs. Meditation on the almost infinite meanings of the symbols of Saturn will also help to instill in the depths of the soul (psyche) the necessary spiritual quintessences. One of the rituals of consecration should be performed, after which the talisman, hidden in an indigo-colored silk case, should be carried with you at all times.

The student should also seriously consider the advisability of making talismans for each of the seven ancient planets, that is, having a different one for use each day of the week. Thus, the daily use of the appropriate talisman can help correct the astrological imbalance in the horoscope and in one's own character.

This idea is neither revolutionary nor new. It has been used before in a slightly different area. Students of alchemy who are familiar with what is called the Little Circulation know that certain herbs are related to "the influence of certain planets." Such herbs can be prepared alchemically (see The Alchemist's Handbook, Paracelsus Research Society, Salt Lake City, 1961), and each of them individually manages a specific day. In this way, the planetary influence of the higher power was organically assimilated to produce subtle, far-reaching effects: psychically, mentally and spiritually.

Chapter III. Words of Power

In the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, an interesting anachronism was used as a basis for compiling sigils. It refers to the old symbol of the Rose on the Cross, which in itself is not a new symbol. However, this is not some previously known form of the Rose Cross Symbol. It has no parallel in occult or symbolic history. The innovation was that twenty-two Hebrew letters were drawn on the petals of the Rose, according to the ancient correspondences from the Sefer Yetzirah.

They were placed in a certain sequence. The so-called twelve simple letters, corresponding to the signs of the Zodiac, were placed on the outer circumference of the rose petals. Within this ring were seven double letters, corresponding to the seven planets. On the inner ring of three large petals, there were three letters, called maternal, correlated with the three primary elements, fire, water and air.

The result was a simple but ingenious scheme from which a completely new set of sigils can be drawn, completely different from those obtained from traditional magic squares. In full form, the symbol of the Rose on the Cross can be seen in one of the volumes "Golden Dawn"(Llewellyn Publications, St. Paul, 1969), but the Rose itself, which is only part of the symbol and relevant to our presentation, is in the appendix. The diligence of the student will not be wasted if he experiments with drawing the sigils of all kinds of names on this twenty-two-petalled Rose. He may find more practical value in these sigils than in those made from traditional cameos.

If the student examines some of the talismans described in various books, he will find a variety of words and lines inscribed in a circle around the edges of the talisman. These lines and words are also traditional. These are usually the biblical names of God, along with the names of angels, spirits and minds. Detailed tables of these hierarchies have come down to us from the same sources listed above. In the appendix to this manual, you can find these Name Tables.

In addition, these are phrases and sentences extracted from the Old and New Testaments for permission and power. It was believed that it was impossible to make a really worthwhile talisman without written permission of one kind or another. Therefore, on each talisman there was always some kind of verse or reference that could allow it to be used for the purpose for which it was made. This archaic principle is called commemoration. His theory is simple - in the past, God came to help in such and such, and performed such and such a feat for this person. And the mention of this event must be included in the inscription in order to renegotiate the contract, according to which the divine feat could be repeated here and now, for me, and it will be performed by the same God who had previously performed such a feat.

For example, if I were an engineer building a new power plant under contract to provide light and power to a new community and needed inspiration to work on this project, I would make a Solar Talisman. Since the design must give light, the ruler of the talisman could be a source of light and life for the earth, and this is the Sun. And the Bible verse suitable for the inscription would be: "And the Lord said, Let there be Light, and there was Light."

The words of the Bible about this prehistoric event is a pledge and hope that if you repeat it in the picture, then the once happened event can happen again, at the request, as it was. You can revolve around this topic for a very long time, but it is enough to understand its main idea. Of course, those who are familiar with the Bible know where to find the right verse.

Traditionally, its stanzas were written in Hebrew. But since only a few students could write neatly and beautifully on it, the result was a lot of stupid typos and profane transliterations that nullify and render useless the intrinsic meaning inherent in Bible verses. Then some innovators switched to Latin. The use of Latin somewhat reduced the number of typographical errors, but they still existed, so that in this case not all the inscriptions are true. But only Hebrew, Latin and Greek were the classical languages in which the inscriptions were made on the edges of the talismans, this can be seen by referring to Great Key of King Solomon.

These principles are still valid today. For many years, experimenting with talismans, I followed these ancient rules. And I must say that with a little ingenuity and artistic skill, the result is very beautiful and outstanding, and of course very effective. And if the student wishes to move in this direction, he can be sincerely advised to follow these classical rules, as I was advised in the distant past.

Chapter IV. Talismans of the Five Elements

In this manual, I would like to present these classical or ancient principles in a simpler and perhaps more modern style. Of course, the fundamental rules remain traditional and classical, but you can find simpler methods of applying them, which are not so laborious and obscure.

For example, I believe that phrases from the Bible can be applied to a talisman in English without using a translation into Hebrew, Latin or Greek - if the reader is unfamiliar with these languages. The main thing is to perform them artistically. In other words, English lettering should be as clear and beautiful as possible, and still fit the purpose.

Moreover, it obviously does not make sense for the student to limit himself to the Bible or any other single book taken in order to endow the talisman with power. Much time has passed since the average educated person did not know any other sacred books, except those belonging to his family, country and religion. If you are familiar with the Qur'an, the Bhagavad Gita, the Book of Mormons, or even Kahlil Gibran's exquisite masterpiece The Prophet, or appreciate certain lines in Shakespeare, Dante, or Charles Swinburne, then there is no good reason against using them instead of any others. . The only necessary condition is that the quotations used emotionally affect or captivate the student. And finally, let me remark that rituals and talismans, and indeed all ceremonial magic, become effective not only as a result of the exercise of a trained will and imagination, but primarily due to the strength of the emotional impulse of which the student is capable. Enthusiasm or sacred obsession is the main driving force.

Moreover, instead of the traditional seven planets, let me propose a simpler classification of the five ancient elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Ether - the Quintessence. Subsequently, I hope we can find in the Golden Dawn attributions the main source of values for these five elements by which most projects can be classified. Their meanings for divination, given in the section on Tarot, provide us with much of the material we need.

For example, you can take the following as a basis:

Earth: Business, money, employment, practical affairs, etc.

Air: Health, diseases, disputes, anxieties, etc.

Water: Pleasure, marriage, fertility, luck, parties, etc.

Ether: All spiritual matters, no matter how you interpret them.

The symbols of these five elements can be of several kinds. To solve our problems, I chose the following from the Eastern Tatv system:

Earth: Prithivi, yellow square. The letter Xe (final) of the Tetragrammaton.

Air: Vayu, blue circle. The letter Wau of the Tetragrammaton.

Water: Apas, silver crescent. The letter He of the Tetragrammaton.

Fire: Tajas (Tejas), red triangle. Letter Yod Tetragrammaton.

Ether(Spirit): Akasha, the black egg. The letter Shin of the Pentagrammaton.

This immediately becomes the basis of the artistic structure of the mascot. The fire charm should be made of bright red paper, such as used for Japanese origami, in the shape of a triangle with the top up. Appropriate dedications, inscriptions and sigils may be applied to it in green ink or paint. The result will be a flickering talisman, that is, the use of additional colors will give a visual effect of flickering, as you can see with a little experimentation. The talisman of the earth should be made in the form of a yellow square of colored paper, with red or mauve inscriptions, depending on the intensity and shade of yellow.

You can be free or artistic in your choice of form, depending on the number and size of sigils, barbaric power names or phrases you choose to use.

For example, a double triangle Tajas can be cut out of red paper along with a connecting ribbon or eyelet. Thus, on the spread, four triangular sides are obtained, giving more space for inscriptions. In its finished form, it folds over the connection, as in this figure:

Once, having dealt with the structure, working with it and thinking about it for a while, the student will acquire a large amount of information that can be used to use in this way. Many additions can be made to this simple scheme.

If you wish to improve the talisman, you can reproduce some symbols from the Tarot cards. For example, if a student is making a talisman for pleasure and entertainment, then the Ace of Cups from any suitable deck will be an excellent symbol if copied with a pen or brush on the silver crescent Apas.

For spiritual support in the hour of woe, the crown and sword of the Ace of Swords, which literally signify the evoked power, are ideal symbols, they should be applied to the blue circle of Vayu. The need for change for the better in a boring and poor life can be well represented by the Two of Pentacles from the Golden Dawn deck.

In fact, in the manufacture of talismans there is no need for blind imitation. Even though the symbol of the Earth is a yellow square, the student can still make a corresponding round talisman on which he will depict Prithivi. In the case of a semicircle or crescent (Apas), it is also possible to make a round talisman, and then depict a crescent moon on it, along with other symbols that seem suitable. However, these considerations are completely arbitrary and are intended to stimulate the ingenuity or latent creativity of the student.

The alchemical symbols for these elements can only be studied to add additional symbolism under certain circumstances or if necessary:

Traditionally, each of these five elements has been associated with an extensive system of hierarchical names extracted from various sources, and all of them can be useful both for making good talismans and for "charging" them.

The table given in the appendix gives most of the basic information relating to the hierarchies of the elements, which is necessary for the composition, decoration and other operations with any talismans in the symbolism of the five elements that we have discussed. It also contains the information necessary for any ceremonial ritual that is performed to consecrate the finished talisman.

Now we need to mention one more character set. These are the angelic names, constructed according to the zodiacal trines and characterized by Mathers in the materials of the Golden Dawn:

"Having made a magical talisman, you must charge or consecrate it, in some way, in accordance with the operation. There are certain traditional words and letters that should be invoked during the charging of the Tablet, these are the letters that govern the Sign under which the operation takes place, along with The planet that is associated with it (in the case of a planetary talisman. In the case of an elemental operation, one should take the Letters from the corresponding zodiacal trine, add AL to them and thus form the Angelic Name expressing power. Hebrew Names, as a rule, represent operations with certain general powers, while the names of the Enochian or Angelic Tablets are kinds of particular ideas. Both classes of names should be used in these operations."

I will illustrate this idea in the following way:

Trigon of Fire: Aries (Heh), Leo (Tet), Sagittarius (Samekh) + AL = Hitsael;

Trigon of the Earth: Taurus (Wau), Virgo (Yod), Capricorn (Ain) + AL = Vioel;

Trine of Air: Gemini (Zayn), Libra (Lamed), Aquarius (Tzaddi) + AL = Zaltzel;

Trigon of Water: Cancer (Chet), Scorpio (Nun), Pisces (Kof) + AL = Chankel.

These names should be included in the talismans themselves, or sigils drawn from them, and during the ceremony, over the talisman, as if affirming them, vibrate the angelic Name intensely and often.

Chapter V. Case Study

Let's clarify all the theoretical points presented earlier with the help of a practical example.

Let us suppose that a critical examination of my character reveals that I am generally sullen, serious, and secretive, and that I have little or no inclination towards pleasure. In other words, I am incapable of enjoying life. Having come to this conclusion, I studied the magical information and found out that such character defects are perfectly cured by the invocation of the higher forces of the element of Water, to which joy and happiness are attributed. The effect of such an invocation, in the best way, can be extended and preserved by making a talisman dedicated to Water. Wherefore, I must make it carefully and tastefully, charge it in proper ceremony, and wear it all the time, in the hope that the constant feeling of it, will awaken in the unconscious depths of my soul (psyche), the latent potential of the pleasure principle, which was depressed as a result of my puritanical upbringing. We must also say that it acts as a constant reminder of the presence and power of God.

Since Water is the element necessary for the cure of such defects of character, I chose a large piece of heavy silver paper to draw on it the names and symbols in watercolor or gouache. The size of the Apas silver crescent, I chose so that it would be convenient to work with it on the drawing board, and later put it in my wallet. The round talisman, four inches in diameter, was quite suitable. In order to get as many sides as possible for a large number of characters, I decided to make a talisman in the form of a double circle connected by a jumper, as shown in the figure:

outdoor mascot

Folded talisman

On one side of the talisman is the most suitable symbol, namely the Ace of Cups from the White Tarot deck or the "Golden Dawn", containing all the colors that are on the card itself. It sets the tone for the whole project, its formal meaning and description is given in the Golden Dawn materials, it is a radiant angelic hand emerging from a cloud and supporting a bowl from which a fountain of clear sparkling water beats. The jets of the fountain fall from all sides, into the clear and still waters below it, in which lotuses and water lilies grow. The capital letter He, belonging to the Heavenly Mother, is imprinted in the jets of the fountain, symbolizing abundance, fertility, beauty, pleasure, happiness, etc.

The next step is to collect the Divine Names related to this element, and sayings or anything that can express and formalize my main intention.

Instead of verses from the Bible, as in the previous case, I remembered two different phrases that seemed appropriate to me. The first is borrowed from a ritual of the Golden Dawn, where it is recited: "Glory to the Father of Immortality, for Your radiance flows with joy, equally to all the ends of the earth!" Second of Books of the Law Crowley: "But the ecstasy will be yours and the joy of the earth."

Both lines are excellent. After some thought, however, I preferred the one from Books of the Law as the most suitable for my purpose. Thus, with great and tender care, using a fine brush or a special writing pen, I printed the stanza "ecstasy" on the other side of the talisman, thus creating for myself the most attractive design or emotional effect.

On the circumference of the third side, the corresponding Enochian divine names were written. The "Three Secret Sacred Names of God" as the rituals describe them, EMPEH ARSL GAIOL, were inscribed at the top of the circle, while the name of the divine King (based on the central rosette) was inscribed at the bottom - RA AGIOSEL. They were supposed to be written letters of the Angelic language, but I decided to use English letters to fully demonstrate my break with tradition.

In the center I have written the Hebrew Name of God corresponding to this element. Instead of the classical Hebrew spelling, I decided once again to use the capital Latin alphabet, which gave the same good effect, and this is in line with the confirmation of my intention to move away from blindly following tradition and introduce a new, simpler procedure. These names YHVH TZABAOTH, I placed it on the first side, around the tarot bowl design, and not on the third side, as was originally intended, to improve the design.

As explained earlier, one can use the sigil of the Archangel Gabriel derived from the magic square described in Barrett's The Magician. Instead, I set out to draw a sigil for the Golden Dawn Rose, which is given in the appendix. The name Gabriel must be written in Hebrew letters in order to complete his drawing, according to the corresponding letters on the Rose. In the first volume of the Golden Dawn, this name is given, and many more hierarchical names in Hebrew, so there is no obstacle to obtaining a sigil. The resulting drawing looks like this:

For convenience, the position of the first letter "G" (G) is marked with a small circle, and the position of the last "L" (L), with a short dash.

This sigil should now be drawn very carefully in the center of the circle. There are no set rules as to how this can be done. Only the student's own artistic sense or "true ingenuity" is a factor to be reckoned with.

In the center of the fourth side, I have chosen to place the great sigil of the elemental King, whose name is Taliahad. This name, translated into Hebrew, is also in the first volume of the Golden Dawn, so there were no problems here either. His drawing, made according to Rosa, looks like this:

Although it wasn't really necessary, I decided to use another set of symbols - geomantic symbols and emblems made up of them. There are three symbols associated with the Water Trine, but since Rubeus for Scorpio, a potentially evil sign, was left out, leaving only Populus for Cancer and Laetitia for Pisces.

Populus looks like this:

And it is easy to make several small emblems on it.

Laetitia looks like this:

And her emblems can be drawn easily.

Thus, these symbols can be applied around the circumference of the talisman, along with the traditional symbol of Water - the inverted Triangle. We can also include the Eagle Head, which in the Golden Dawn was called the Kerub of Water, representing the sublimation of the internal energy of Scorpio, as the active force of God, working through the element of water. Thus:

All these symbols, including the silver crescent Apas, should be placed on the fourth side of the talisman.

By the way, I advise you to first make a few rough sketches until one of them is one that completely satisfies the student. Then it can be copied onto parchment, parchment or colored paper, which will be the final talisman. In this regard, make it a rule never to leave sketches of magical drawings scattered around in a mess. When work is finished with one of them, it must be torn apart and burned. After all, they are symbols of the divine that require due reverence. The final, fully finished version will look something like this:

After manufacturing, it must be wrapped in a silk bag.

Chapter VI. How to charge talismans

Thus, the first part of the operation is completed. It should be noted that even the mechanical drawing of a talisman, if done in the best possible way and with concentration, already brings into it a great charge of power. The amount of introduced energy directly depends on the experience and development of the student. If he has the "know-how", the talisman will be charged or dedicated during the entire process of its manufacture. In this case, wearing the talisman, through its constant presence and suggestion, will be sufficient to gradually achieve the desired reaction. If, however, the student is only a beginner in this area, then the magical charge gained by the talisman during manufacture will not be sufficient. In this case, the ancient tradition requires additional action.

In this regard, the magical attitude is that the talisman, in itself, is only a dead and inert material. It can be compared to a candidate before initiation. On its own, it cannot do anything. He tries to rise through cultivation, but to no avail. So, the process of initiation, activated by experienced practitioners of the art of initiation, is carried out with the intention of presenting the candidate to higher powers.

Much of this can be applied to the talisman. It requires activation by forces from the higher planes. As Crowley once remarked so well: "Thus the purpose of the whole operation is to give the thing an inert and useless balanced movement in a certain direction... This is the formula of the Golden Dawn Neophyte Ceremony. It should be used to consecrate the necessary tools used by the magician, and also be used as the first formula of initiation."

There are at least two different approaches to initiating or charging a talisman with a specific kind of energy. The former is based on a form of meditation, the latter on ceremonial magical initiation. Let's briefly discuss them one by one.

It will be very helpful if the student of this manual is familiar with one of my early works based on the elemental formulas of the Golden Dawn. It is called "The Art of True Healing" (The Art of True Healing), and describes a process based on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life called the Middle Pillar. It can be easily adapted for the purpose of charging talismans. The opening phase of this process is to energize the student's aura or sphere of emotion. This is followed by changing the color of the electromagnetic field, to the one that corresponds to the selected element, with the help of imagination. In our case, the element is Water, which in this system has a blue color. When the field is charged in blue, the corresponding names on the talisman itself often vibrate, and if the talisman is held at this time in the hands, it becomes charged inductively, through a powerful flow of energy. When completed, it should be wrapped in a piece of pure linen or colored silk, preferably in the form of a pouch, into which the talisman may be placed.

The second method is briefly described in the fourth volume of The Golden Dawn. A student who has advanced this far and studied for a while the techniques used in this magical Order will have no difficulty in understanding this instruction.

"After preparing the room for the purpose of initiating small magical weapons, let's say Elemental Talismans, first perform in the direction of the four Squares the High Rite of the Pentagram, as taught. Then perform the invocation of the Divine Names, turning towards the square of the Element."

"Let the Adept then, sitting or standing before the Tablet, and looking in the direction corresponding to the force he wishes to evoke, take a few deep breaths, close his eyes, and, holding his breath, inwardly pronounce the letters of the evoked Forces. Let this be fulfilled several times, as if you breathe over the Tablet, pronouncing them in a vibration way. Then get up, perform the sign of the Rose and Cross over the Tablet, and repeat the required formula, first draw a circle around the Talisman, perform over it five times the signs of calling pentagrams so that the pentagrams stand vertically above it, repeat the letters of the invoked Trigon by adding AL Then solemnly pronounce all required invocations by executing the proper sigils from the Rose as you speak the names

"Then say the Prayer of the Element, as in the Ritual, and complete with the Signs of the Circle and the Cross (Rose-Cross) after performing the necessary Banishments"

"Be careful, though, and don't perform a banishment on a newly consecrated Talisman, as this will re-discharge it and make it useless. Before banishing, you must wrap the charged talisman in pure white silk or linen."

SANITATION (ACTIVATION) OF THE RUNIC TALISMAN (tie, stave)

. GREAT RITUAL.

A lot of questions arise for beginners to practice runic magic about how to “activate” or consecrate this or that galdrastav, ligature or a separate rune. We give the so-called BIG RITUAL of consecration (activation) of runic talismans (ligatures, galdrastavs, runetains). It is recommended to carry it out when you are really creating a talisman, an amulet, or performing a serious magical operation. Of course, if you are in a traffic jam and you need an instant result, you simply visualize the Raido rune and speed up your journey without leaving your car. But in order, for example, to remove a negative magical effect (damage, curse) or to make a talisman that brings success or money, it is necessary to conduct a complete ritual with the invocation of the Gods, offerings and a capital investment of personal power.

So, for a large ritual, the consecration of a runic talisman must have:
1. A blank, the basis of the amulet in its final form, only without runes.
2. A tool for drawing signs. depending on the workpiece material.
3. Paint if you are working on wood or bone.
4. A piece of fabric in a suitable color for wrapping.
5. Lace made of natural fiber or leather. The length of the lace is taken in such a way that it can be wrapped nine times around the amulet wrapped in cloth.
6. Candles, 7 pieces.
7. Incense, 12 pieces. Better with the smell of northern or just coniferous plants.
8. Salt
9. Water from a spring.
10. Offerings to the Gods - ale, rum, dark beer, wine. If you dedicate a drink only to the Gods, then you need one glass. If there are many participants in the ritual, then the number of glasses should correspond to the number of participants plus one to the Gods.
11. Some good food (fish, meat, seasonal fruits and vegetables, bread, honey, etc.) and ritual dishes (plates).

Next, arrange the candles in the shape of Thor's hammer (see the figure - diagram). Candles are placed in low candlesticks. In nature, bonfires are lit instead of candles. The first candle is placed at the end of the hammer handle, that is, farthest from the place where the practitioner will stand. The second candle is a little closer than the first. Next comes an empty place for glasses for the gods. The next candle is placed even closer, that is, the third one. The fourth is placed, as it were, through one in distance, and the fifth is placed on the end of the handle closest to the practitioner. The sixth and seventh candles are set respectively to the left and right of the main axis, along which five candles are already set. The transverse axis, at the ends of which the sixth and seventh candles are placed, passes through the gap in the long axis in which there is no candle. That is, the transverse axis runs exactly between the third and fourth candles. This is how Thor's hammer is set up from candles or fires.

Between the sixth and seventh candles, right at the crosshairs of both axes of Thor's hammer, three incense is placed. Light candles and incense. Candles are lit in the order in which you placed them. That is, starting from the farthest candle, on the handle of Thor's hammer, and then in order. Place the goblet with the offering drink in the space allotted for it in the center of the hammer. Place salt and water according to the picture. Place the other goblet on the end of Thor's hammer that is closest to you. Then consecrate the dish of food for the gods. This can be done in the same way as an amulet is blessed in a lesser ritual. But this must be done before the start of carving the amulet in a big ritual and using candles and other symbols of the elements. It is necessary to consecrate food in the same ritual, using the elemental symbols that you put up in Thor's hammer. Consecrating food, say: "I consecrate this food with power ...", and pronounce the name of the element with which you consecrate food at the moment. Then, when the food is consecrated, take the dish in both hands and, raising it up in front of you, say: "O great gods, (list by name all the gods you address in this ritual), accept this food from our Sun, from from our land, from our water, from our wind and from our labors! Accept this food with favor and fulfill our requests! After that, place a dish of food between the glass and the candle closest to you. There should be two meals. They may not be the same in size, but the products on the dishes should be exactly the same.
Meditate a little while sitting or standing, imagining the accomplished goal of the work. Then carve the name of the future owner on the back of the amulet. If the one who asks has a magical name, then that is what is cut out. After that, on the front side of the amulet, you need to cut out the runic formula. Naturally, the formula is cut out in one rune. The name of each carved rune is chanted aloud. At least quietly, but with an understanding of the meaning of the rune and strength. Feel the power of the gods flowing through you. Feel how through you, your hand and your tool, the power enters into every rune you create. When carving each rune, feel its spirit and the essence of its meaning. And at the end of the work, try to fully understand the power of the entire sign and the combination of all the runes.
So, the runescript is cut out. Then turn to the gods, as described in the description of the small ritual. It is only in the visa that changes need to be made regarding the offering of sacrifices to the gods in the form of drinks or food. Also, the visa should contain an invitation to the gods to join the meal and to all those gathered. If you work alone, then invite the gods on your behalf in the same way.
Next, consecration with the elements is performed, as indicated in the small ritual. After the appearance of the gods and consecration, the amulet must be respectfully wrapped in cloth and wrapped nine times with a previously prepared cord. This symbolizes the appeal to the norn goddesses and the forces of fate. The wrapped talisman should be placed at the crosshairs of Thor's hammer. Where there is no candle. Turning the amulet clockwise nine times, you say aloud the semantic meaning of the talisman. This is a very important step that connects the talisman with the intention. Feeling that enough strength has accumulated in the talisman, you need to unfold the cord and slowly unwrap the fabric amulet. This is the Time, Hour, Minute and Second of the birth of the talisman. In those seconds, all his energy calls to life. At this moment, you need to bend over and breathe out on him as strongly as possible and with maximum awareness of the seriousness of the process. First imagine, and with experience you will feel how your personal power enters the talisman, reviving it. Next, you need to touch the newborn amulet with the index finger of your right hand. At this point, he is given a name. It reflects the purpose of the amulet. This is done in the same way as consecration by the elements, but with a slight amendment. Holding the amulet over the candle, one must say: "I give you a name ... by the power of fire!!". Sprinkling with water: "I give you a name ... by the power of water!". Over the incense: "I consecrate you to your intended purpose and fill you with the power of the air!" And using Salt, one should say: "I cleanse you with the earth element and sanctify you for the intended purpose!" After that, you need to close the ritual, To do this, you need to raise your hands up and put your feet together to get a copy of the Algiz rune. Then you need to say "In the name of the great Odin! Let it be so! The ritual is declared closed!", thank the gods for sharing a meal with you and fulfilling your requests and put out the candle.
