The routes of buses, trolleybuses and tram No. 5 along Yamashev Avenue in both directions will be shortened. The latter’s temporary final stops will be “Veterinary Academy” and “St. Adoratsky." Tram number 6 will be closed for the duration of the restrictions.

All changes being made are related to traffic restrictions in the area near the Kazan Arena stadium: public transport will have to change direct traffic trajectories in the section Veterinary Academy - Yamashev Avenue.

So, bus routes No. 10, 10 a, 18, 33, 35, 35 a, 36, 44, 45, 46, 49, 55, 60, 62 will follow their routes from the starting point towards the Novo-Savinovsky district to the Veterinary Academy stop, then turn around on Yamashev Avenue and then follow reverse direction to final stops or along duplicate routes in the opposite direction (relevant for). In addition, on the days of the Confederations Cup matches in Kazan (June 18, 22, 24 and 28), an additional bus route - TS-1 - will be organized. It will begin running 4 hours before the start of matches with a frequency of 5 minutes along the route “Palace of Sports - Kozya Sloboda metro station - Stadium”. You can get on it only at the “Palace of Sports” and “Kozya Sloboda” metro stops, and get off at the “Stadium”, respectively. After the game, buses will take fans to the Kozya Sloboda metro station and the Sports Palace stop. Buses will end their service two hours after the end of the matches. Upon presentation of a match ticket for the current day and a fan passport, travel will be free.

The tasks that were “chosen” for Kazan traffic police officers by order of the President of Russia are standard - for example, ensuring the safety of transportation of Cup participants, participation in anti-terrorist security measures; creation of a photo-video recording system for rule violations traffic operating in automatic mode. We will have to choose detours, because FIFA requirements provide for the closure of not only the Third Transport Dam, but also the restriction of traffic on parts of the streets adjacent to the stadium: Chistopolskaya, Sibgata Hakim, Yamashev Avenue, Gavrilova and Arbuzov.

To ensure the placement of spectators' vehicles, it is planned to organize intercepting parking lots in the existing areas of the city's shopping and entertainment complexes, said Lenar Gabdurakhmanov, head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan. - These are the Park House shopping center, Tandem shopping center, METRO Cash & Carry shopping center, Yuzhny shopping center, Mega and KARSAR.

Also, according to the plans, parking at the Olympus KAI sports facility on Chistopolskaya Street will be used. By the way, they want to use it as a taxi, with entry from Amirkhan Avenue.

But they exist. Thus, only accredited cars will be allowed into the event area; special services transport and public transport from the side of Arbuzova Street to the 3rd transport dam and from the side of Yamashev Avenue to the XL store, where turning areas will be organized.

NOT JUST A STADIUM

Restrictions on vehicle traffic on city roads during the preparation and holding of the Cup will affect not only the Kazan Arena stadium and the areas adjacent to it. The corresponding road signs are already ready to be installed near the Ramada Kazan City, Hilton and Park Inn hotels. The fact is that from June 16 to June 29, traffic restrictions are planned in the following areas:

Along Gayaza Iskhaki Street (on the section from Chernyshevsky Street to Tazi Gizzata Street (“Ramada Kazan City” Chernyshevsky Street 39);
