The Secret of Happiness

A certain merchant sent his son to the most important sage for the secret of happiness. For forty days the young man walked through the desert until he saw a magnificent castle. There lived the Sage, whom he was looking for.

Contrary to expectations, the castle did not at all look like a secluded abode of a righteous man, but was full of people: merchants were scurrying around, offering their goods, people were talking in the corners, a small orchestra played a gentle melody, and in the middle of the hall a table was laid, laden with the most luxurious and exquisite dishes, which could only be found in this region.

The sage slowly walked around the guests, and the young man had to wait two hours for his turn.

Finally, the Sage listened to why he had come to him, but said that now he did not have time to explain the secret of happiness.

Let the young man wander around the castle and return to this hall in two hours.

And here’s another request I have for you,” he said, handing the young man a teaspoon with two drops of oil. “Take this spoon with you and be careful not to spill the oil.

The young man, without taking his eyes off the spoon, began to go up and down the palace stairs, and two hours later he again appeared before the Sage.

Well, he said, did you like the Persian carpets in the dining room? Trees and flowers in the garden, which the most skillful craftsmen have been breaking for ten whole years? Antique folios and parchments in my library?

The ashamed young man confessed that he had not seen any of this, for all his attention was riveted on those drops of oil that the owner had entrusted to him.

Go back and look at all the wonders in my house,” the Sage said then. “You can't trust a man until you know where and how he lives.

With a spoon in his hand, the young man again moved through the halls and corridors. This time he was not so constrained and looked at the rarities and curiosities, all the works of art that decorated the rooms. He surveyed the gardens and mountains surrounding the castle, appreciating the beauty of the flowers and the artful arrangement of paintings and statues. Returning to the sage, he listed in detail everything that he had seen.

And where are those two drops of oil that I asked to convey and not spill? the Sage asked.

And then the young man saw that the drops had been spilled.

This is the only advice I can give you,” the wisest of the wise told him. - The secret of happiness is to see everything that is wonderful and glorious in the world, and never forget about two drops of oil in a teaspoon.

There lived a man in the world. He had three dreams: to have a well-paid job, to marry a beauty and ... become famous all over the world.

Once, in a frosty winter, a Man was in a hurry for an interview at the office of a well-known company. Suddenly, an elderly man fell right in front of him. The man looked at the fallen man, the thought arose in his head that he was most likely drunk and did not give his hand. This helped not to be late for the scheduled meeting. The interview was unsuccessful: The person was not hired for the desired position.

Once a Man was walking in the city on a summer evening. Noticing a troupe of street performers, he stopped to enjoy the spectacle. The audience was small, but the play was fun and exciting. After the end of the action, applause broke out, and people began to disperse. Our Man also turned back, but someone timidly touched his shoulder. It was the main character of the play, an old clowness. She began to ask him about whether he liked the performance, whether he was satisfied with the actors. But the Man did not want to carry on a conversation and, turning away in disgust, went home.

One rainy evening The Man was hurrying home from a friend's birthday party. He was very tired, and thoughts of a fragrant bath and a cozy, warm bed rushed through his head. Suddenly, he heard a muffled sob. It was a woman crying. She was sitting on a bench near the Man's house. Without an umbrella. One. Noticing our hero, she turned to him for help. She had a tragedy in her family. And all she needed was a spiritual interlocutor. The man thought, a bath and a bed appeared before his eyes, and hurried to the entrance.

The man lived an unhappy life. And died.

Having hit, the Man met his Friend, the Guardian Angel. They swung on the heavenly swing and talked.

You know, I lived a very miserable and useless life. I had three dreams, but nothing came true. It's a pity…

Hmm ... My friend, I did everything to make all your dreams come true, but for this I only needed from you: your hand, your eyes and your heart.

My God, so what?

Remember the fallen man on the slippery winter road? I'll show you this picture now ... That person was the general director of the company that you so wanted to get into. An exciting career awaits you. All that was required of you - your hand.

Do you remember the old clowness who pestered you with questions after a street performance? It was a young beauty actress who fell in love with you at first sight. A happy future awaited you, children, undying love. All that was required of you - your eyes.

Do you remember the crying woman near your entrance? It was a rainy evening, and she was soaked through with tears ... She was a famous writer. She was going through a family crisis, and she really needed spiritual support. If you had helped her to warm up in her apartment, to warm her Soul thanks to your wise words of consolation, then she would have written a book in which she would have told about this case. The book would become famous all over the world, and you would become famous, because on the main page the author would indicate the name of the one who became the muse of this work. And all that was required of you then - your heart.
You were inattentive, my friend.

The man sighed... And the Friends went along the lunar path into the starry distance, talking quietly and serenely...

And what does this world offer you now?
Remember: Happiness has the face of a Riddle...

How often do we pass by
And happiness is close ... next to us.
So soft, no makeup.
With simple, kind eyes.

And we want everything in plumage,
In a wrapper bright and shiny...
Oh, how sometimes vision fails,
What the glitter sees is not real.

And you are bred again for years,
But the tinsel flickering fades.
The vaults of relationships are crumbling,
And cracks are like distances.

And suddenly you meet inadvertently
Reliable shoulder, no gloss,
And life will return to the roots again,
Where everything beautiful is discreet.

I couldn't get through to you.
In the silence of an empty heart there is a knock...
How wrong it must have been
to hear the sound in silence...

How blind was everything and stupid
Time crossed out by fate...
Feelings were thrown stupid
to the side of love with your hand ...

How stupid it was not to see
that you are not meant to love...
And stretched threads to you
should have been broken a long time ago...

And my soul would not rush about,
would smile at dreams at night,
I would enjoy the love of the world,
than I missed your lips...

You know, I believe, everything will be different:
if the heart loves, then it is easy for him.
I do not want to guess: fall in love - do not fall in love, -
I feel good in my heart today.

As soon as I am filled to the brim with you,
I feel in my heart that I'm alive again...
As soon as I leave again in the evening,
I feel in my heart that I'm dying...

Don't know how long I have to pray
May God make those dreams come true
In which I wake up with you in an embrace ...
Where forever together, like a mobile phone and a SIM card ...

You are the best man in this universe...
So fair, so extraordinary...
And kind, and gentle, and strong, and strict ...
It is no coincidence that two different paths converged ...

Let it be very untimely, late and difficult ...
But this is love... It's impossible without it...
And a day with you - even a century is more expensive ...
I pray to the sky: "Give us a chance, wise God ..."

As soon as I see eyes and a smile,
It seems to me that the sky forgives mistakes ...
It seems to me that the sky is brighter above us,
As soon as we touch each other's lips ...

My most dear and beloved man ...
You are a reason to love and a reason for happiness ...
You are my sweetie... I am your sweet tooth...
We will be together, like a mobile and a flash drive ...

There is a legend according to which God comes to each of us once in a lifetime. Moreover, he can appear in any guise - a wet kitten, an old man, a beggar woman - and our fate will develop depending on how we behave at the moment of such a meeting ...

Once upon a time there lived a man. And he had THREE DREAMS: have a good job with a high salary, marry a beautiful kind girl and ... become known to the whole world.

During his life, many stories happened to him, we will tell you about THREE of them:

On a cold winter morning, a young man was in a hurry for an interview at a well-known company. There were 5 minutes left before the meeting, and he still had to run a block. Suddenly, an elderly man slipped and fell right in front of him.
Our hero looked at the man, decided that he was drunk and, without shaking his hand, ran on. Luckily, he made it to the interview on time.

Unfortunately, he was not hired for the job of his dreams.

On a warm summer evening, a man was walking around the city. Noticing a troupe of street performers, he stopped to enjoy the spectacle. The audience was small, but the play was fun and exciting. After the performance ended, applause was heard and people began to disperse.
Our man also turned back, but someone timidly touched his shoulder. It was the main character of the play, an old clowness. She began to ask him about whether he liked the performance, whether he was satisfied with the actors.

But the man did not want to carry on a conversation and, turning away in disgust, went home.

One rainy autumn evening, a man hurried home from the birthday of a friend. The day turned out to be hard and he dreamed of taking a bath as soon as possible and falling asleep in a warm soft bed. Suddenly, he heard a muffled sob. It was a woman crying.

She was sitting on a bench near our hero's house. She was alone, without an umbrella, and only the hood of a light jacket saved her from the cold rain. Noticing our hero, she turned to him for help. Something happened in her family and she really wanted to talk heart to heart with someone.

The man thought, before his eyes appeared a bath and a bed, he muttered that he was terribly busy and hurried to the entrance.

The man lived an unhappy life. And died.

Once in heaven, man met his guardian angel.

You know, I lived a very miserable and useless life. I had three dreams, but none of them came true. What a pity…

- Hmm ... My friend, I did everything to make all your dreams come true, but for this you only had to lend a hand once, open your eyes and warm your heart.

– What are you talking about?

Do you remember the man who fell on the slippery winter road? I'll show you this picture now ... That person was the general director of the company that you so wanted to get into. An exciting career awaits you.

All you had to do was lend a hand.

Do you remember the old clowness who came up to you with questions after a street performance? It was a young beauty actress who fell in love with you at first sight. A happy future awaited you, children, true love.

All you had to do was open your eyes.

Do you remember the crying woman near your entrance? It was a rainy evening, she was soaked through with rain and tears ... She was a famous writer. She was going through a family crisis and she really needed spiritual support.

If you had helped her warm up in your apartment, listened and comforted her, she would have written a book in which she would have told about this incident. The book would become famous all over the world and you along with it, since on the main page the author would indicate the name of the one who became the muse of this work.

All that was required of you then was just a small spark of your heart.

You were careless my friend..
