Prayer to the Holy Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit

“God loves the Trinity” - probably everyone has heard this expression, but not everyone knows that underneath it lies the veneration of the Holy Trinity, whose prayer expresses the love of believers for the Triune God. IN Holy Scripture As you know, the Trinity manifests itself only in the New Testament - during the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordanian waters, God the Father proclaimed from heaven “This is My Beloved Son, listen to Him,” and God the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove descended on Jesus, thereby symbolizing the blessing to a sermon given from above. The text of the akathist to the Most Holy Trinity, like all prayers addressed to Her, contains a recurring dogma, for the preservation and affirmation of which many spears were broken in due time. Today, when we hear the words “Consubstantial and Indivisible,” we do not always try to understand their meaning, but at the dawn of Christianity they became a stumbling block between the Arians and Christians. The followers of Arius argued that Jesus Christ is not God, but only the highest Creation of God the Father. Prayer is not just words spoken in moments of joy or, on the contrary, sadness. No! Prayer is something more, namely the ascension of the mind and heart to God, the acceptance of the spirit of God while still on earth. The power of prayer is extremely great. Because only You know what is useful and necessary for us, and You wish us good more than we ourselves. Give us our daily bread today- that is, give us for this day, for today, our daily bread. By bread here we mean everything necessary for our life on earth: food, clothing, housing, but most importantly the Most Pure Body and the Honest Blood in the sacrament of Holy Communion, without which there is no salvation in eternal life. The Lord commanded us to ask ourselves not for wealth, not for luxury, but only for the most necessary things and to rely on God in everything, remembering that He, as a Father, always cares and takes care of us. And forgive us our debts, just as we forgive our debtors.- that is, forgive us our sins just as we ourselves forgive those who have offended or offended us. In this petition, our sins are called our debts, because the Lord gave us strength, abilities and everything else in order to do good deeds, and we often turn all this into sin and evil and become debtors to God. And if we ourselves do not sincerely forgive our debtors, that is, people who have sins against us, then God will not forgive us. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself told us about this. And do not lead us into temptation- temptation is a state when something or someone draws us to sin, tempts us to do something lawless or bad. We ask - do not allow us to be tempted, which we cannot endure, help us overcome temptations when they happen. But deliver us from evil- that is, deliver us from all evil in this world and from the culprit (chief) of evil - from the devil ( evil spirit), who is always ready to destroy us. Deliver us from this cunning, crafty power and its deceptions, which is nothing before You.
