Yellow vegetables and fruits

American scientists claim that if you regularly eat yellow or orange vegetables and fruits, you can significantly reduce the risk of joint inflammation and arthritis. Carotenoids, substances that can have a so-called antioxidant effect on the body, give a bright color to these gifts of nature.

Thanks to this property, natural remedies can prevent the damaging effect of free oxygen radicals on the cells and tissues of our body, including the cells that form joints and ligaments. In addition, these foods rich in vitamin A are very good for the eyes, and they also lift your mood. Not without reason, after all, color therapists treat depression and nervous disorders with yellow and orange.

Antioxidants

Antioxidants are agents that protect us from free radicals that destroy healthy cells in the body.

It is important that there are as many of them in the body as possible. After all, free radicals are constantly formed. Antioxidants include vitamins A, C, E and a trace element such as selenium.

Vitamin A is necessary for those who are often sick, as well as for those who have vision problems, dry skin, and are at risk of developing tumors. The main sources of vitamin A are fish oil, cream, egg yolk, and yellow-orange and dark green vegetables and fruits.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) - protects against cancer, prevents the destruction of enzymes by free radicals. The highest content of vitamin C in citrus fruits.

Vitamin E protects the fats that make up cell membranes from oxidation, stopping the chain reaction of oxidation and prolonging their life. Selenium acts as an assistant here, destroying substances containing free radicals.

It must be taken into account that antioxidant protection does not always work. You can, for example, take vitamin A as much as you like, but it still will not be absorbed if a person’s liver and kidneys do not work well, if the body does not receive enough protein and fat, as well as such an essential element as zinc.

What can be done to boost antioxidant protection? You have to take blueberries and garlic. These funds are champions in the content of antioxidants. Garlic is also rich in selenium. In the morning on an empty stomach, it will not be superfluous to eat some pomegranate seeds. At night - 5-7 walnuts, they contain the entire group of vitamins B, as well as vitamins A, E and C.

germinated grain

It is used when the bore is only 2-4 mm. Why exactly like this? Because the "heavy" nutrients of the grain have already turned into easily digestible complexes of amino acids, sugars, vitamins and minerals. And the sprout of the plant has not yet stocked up with ballast cellulose, or vegetable fiber, which is useless for us from the point of view of nutritional value. The embryo of each plant has its own set of substances useful to us. Rye and wheat, in addition to proteins and carbohydrates, are rich in phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, selenium, copper, vanadium. They contain almost all known B vitamins, biotin, vitamins E and F. Therefore, they have a hematopoietic, anti-sclerotic, anti-cholesterol effect, normalize the condition of blood vessels, skin and hair, and slow down the aging process.

How to germinate:
Whole grains are sorted out, damaged and unripe grains are thrown away. Then the grain is washed several times in running water, after which it is laid out in a thin (no more than 2 cm) layer in a not too small ceramic vessel. You can pre-lay a layer of natural dark fabric on the bottom. But this is optional. Now the plants need to be watered-filled with water so that the top layer of grains does not sink in the water, but only touches it. Cover the wheat with gauze and put it where it will be light and warm. After 24-30 hours, the grains should show little white seedlings. When they germinate to 2-4 mm, the wheat must be thoroughly washed again. The medicine is ready. It is recommended to use it 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day, in this form or pre-grind in a meat grinder. Store the sprouts in the refrigerator, but not more than 2-3 days - then the healing properties of the sprouts are lost.

Strengthening immunity

Reliable defenders of immunity are eleutherococcus and echinacea. Eleutherococcus is a remedy that not only improves immunity, but also saves from stress, has a general strengthening effect. But it has a contraindication - it should not be taken by someone who suffers from hypertension, heart rhythm disturbances and acute infectious diseases.

Echinacea also helps with rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis, herpes, prostatitis, psoriasis, ulcers, festering wounds.

Also useful are folk remedies for strengthening immunity.
1. Grind the head of garlic, pour a glass of sour milk overnight. Drink the next day in several doses.

2. Grate a medium onion, pour a glass of boiled milk, cool and drink throughout the day in two doses.

3. Mixtures of dried fruits and nuts are useful. We take in equal proportions raisins, dried apricots, prunes, walnuts, lemon with peel (remove the seeds) and pass it all through a meat grinder. Add honey and store in the refrigerator. We accept once a day: adults - 1 tbsp, children - 1 tsp.

4. Three medium apples on a grater, add chopped prunes and dried apricots, 1 tbsp each. chopped nuts and honey, soaked oatmeal (1 tbsp pour 4 cups of hot water for 30-40 minutes), juice of half a lemon. This is for one adult. It must be eaten in two doses - for breakfast and dinner between 19 and 20 hours.

Collection of medicinal herbs

To collect medicinal herbs, you need to know them, be able to distinguish them from similar ones that do not have medicinal use, and know where they grow. They must be collected away from the roads, outside the city, best of all in the forest.

If you are not a connoisseur of herbs, collect the best common plants - linden flowers, wild strawberries, blueberries, mint, St. John's wort, chamomile, plantain, dandelion roots.

When collecting herbs, it must be remembered that the resources of the planet are not unlimited. It is necessary to leave a sufficient number of plants of each species for their renewal next year.
