Human health does not depend on "healthy lifestyle". About how we live

Healthy lifestyle- the concept is complex, consisting of many components. It includes all spheres of human existence - from nutrition to emotional mood.

A healthy lifestyle is a way that involves a complete rejection of old habits regarding rest, physical activity and nutrition.

To better understand what a healthy lifestyle is, you need to consider all the components and understand what interferes with a person’s psycho-emotional balance and his health.

Why is there more and more talk about a healthy lifestyle in recent years? Well, first of all, this is due to the fact that the loads acting on the human body have increased and changed, which is associated with an increased risk of an environmental and man-made nature, as well as with a more complex social structure. In such conditions, in order to survive, each individual must take care of their well-being. On a global scale, this means the preservation of man as a species.

In a nutshell, it is difficult to explain what healthy lifestyle means. According to the official definition, its essence is to prevent diseases and improve health. This concept is considered by supporters of a healthy lifestyle as a philosophical and sociological direction, as

an integral part of public life and a global problem. But there are other aspects of this concept: medical-biological and psychological-pedagogical. But, since they are all aimed at solving one problem - strengthening the health of the individual, there is no sharp distinction between them.

Doctors tend to believe that 50% of a person’s health depends on lifestyle, and other factors affect it in the following percentage: 20% is the genetic base, 20% is the environment, 10% is the level of healthcare.

A healthy lifestyle is a prerequisite and a necessary condition for:

  • full development of all aspects of human life;
  • achievement of active longevity;
  • participation in labor, social and family activities of a person of any age.

For the first time this topic was raised in the 70s of the last century. This was due to the increased influence of environmental factors on health, global changes in the human environment, changes in his lifestyle, and an increase in its duration.

Modern man began to eat more food, while he leads a less mobile lifestyle. At the same time, the speed of life increased, which led to an increase in the number of stress factors. This affects the growth in the number of hereditary diseases, the number of which is increasing year by year. In such a situation, it is already impossible not to think about how to stay healthy physically and spiritually, leading an active lifestyle.

To stay healthy, you need to reconsider your daily routine. Late going to bed (after midnight) and early awakening (at 4 am) do not contribute to this at all. If you don’t have enough time to complete all the tasks in a day, then you need to either reduce their number or learn how to do it faster, i.e. You need to learn how to manage your time properly.

The rational mode is, first of all, the alternation of work and rest, i.e. periods of mental and physical stress and periods of complete relaxation. In other words, for a good sleep, an adult should allocate 7-8 hours a day, including on weekends.

The need for a balanced diet

Equally important is a balanced diet. This concept is quite broad and a lot of voluminous works are devoted to it.

However, in this variety, the basic principles can be traced:

  • you need to limit the intake of animal fats;
  • limit the intake of foods rich in protein (primarily fatty meats);
  • include an increased amount of vegetable products in the menu;
  • completely eliminate the consumption of "fast" carbohydrates - muffins, sweets, fast food, carbonated drinks, crackers and chips;
  • switch to fractional nutrition, i.e. multiple (up to 6 times a day) meals, but significantly reducing its amount per meal;
  • forget about a late dinner;
  • include only fresh foods in the diet;
  • adhere to the optimal drinking regimen;
  • exclude alcohol, limit strong tea and coffee;
  • optimize the amount of food, adhering to the rule that the number of calories received should not exceed energy expenditure.

Consumed food products should be exclusively natural, containing the necessary vitamins, micro- and macroelements. It is very good if the preparation of the diet takes place under the guidance of a dietitian.

Healthy lifestyle is also physical activity. The life of modern man has become easier and more comfortable than it was for his ancestor. For this, thanks must be said to the achievements of science and technology. At the same time, it was because of this that the person began to move less. Now you do not need to go to the store, because the products can be ordered with home delivery, as well as the purchase of things, furniture, electronic equipment.

But in order to maintain the functional status of a person, he needs to move. Beginners to practice a healthy lifestyle should spend at least 30 minutes a day on physical exercises. Which sport to choose, everyone must decide for themselves. It is chosen depending on temperament, capabilities, age and, possibly, existing skills.

Someone will prefer classes in the training room, walking or running, and someone will like to go cycling, go to the pool or do yoga, gymnastics, qigong.

There are many opportunities to realize the motor potential. Even walking will be very useful at the initial stage. It is clear that over time, the load must be increased. A special place is occupied by exercises for the spine. This part of the musculoskeletal system is responsible for how young your body looks. Life is motion! This means that the spine must remain mobile and flexible.

Rejection of bad habits

Everyone has heard many times that the body is destroyed: food addictions (chips, crackers, soda, salty foods), bad habits (alcohol, smoking). All this should be abandoned in favor of healthier options. The practice of ZOH should begin with the abandonment of bad habits.

Prevention of diseases and strengthening the body

Procedures for hardening and strengthening the body are necessarily included in the list of factors that contribute to health promotion. There are several methods that will help strengthen the immune system: using pharmaceutical preparations (tincture of ginseng, eleutherococcus, etc.) and hardening.

It is not necessary to immediately climb into the hole. At first, a contrast shower is suitable. Moreover, the temperature difference should be small at first, but gradually it should be increased. This will strengthen the vascular system, immunity, raise the overall tone of the body and will be a good stimulant for the autonomic nervous system.

It is imperative to monitor the nervous system and the state of the psyche, since it is stress, irritability and nervousness that are the direct causes of rapid aging. Nervousness negatively affects the cells and tissues of the body, leads to their pathological changes. Another tip: if you are nervous and angry, then at least do not accumulate negativity in yourself, show emotions openly.

It is necessary to say about one more factor that plays an important role in the prevention of health - body weight. It needs to be controlled, because excess weight is an additional risk of developing vascular, cardiac, endocrine, oncological and other diseases.

With age, this risk increases, therefore, after 45 years, everyone needs to undergo a full examination at least once a year in order to prevent or detect diseases such as coronary heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, etc. in the early stages. Detecting diseases at an early stage is the key successful therapy.

Health - one of the most important components of human happiness and one of the leading conditions for successful social and economic development. Realization of the intellectual, moral, spiritual, physical and reproductive potential is possible only in a healthy society.

Health Factors

Numerous studies have shown that the factors contributing to health are:

  1. Biological(heredity, type of higher nervous activity, constitution, temperament, etc.): the circumstance deserves special attention that in the structure of hereditary pathology, characteristic of almost two percent of the world's population, the predominant place belongs to diseases associated with the lifestyle and health of future parents and mothers during pregnancy.
  2. Natural(climate, landscape, flora, fauna, etc.);
  3. Environmental condition: global transformations of the ecological situation are exacerbated by local changes associated not so much with the geographical and climatic conditions of the region, but with the industries prevailing here. So, in the centers of metallurgy, the incidence of the respiratory apparatus, allergies, and malignant diseases is much higher. In large industrial centers, where air and water pollution exceeds the sanitary maximum permissible values by 10 or more times, the incidence of bronchial asthma, bronchitis and mental disorders is 2-2.5 times higher than in rural areas.
  4. Health development level: As civilization progressed and diseases spread more widely, medicine became more and more specialized in the treatment of diseases and less and less focused on health.

In medical prevention of morbidity, three levels are distinguished:

1) first level prevention focused on the entire contingent of children and adults, its task is to improve their health throughout the life cycle. The basis of primary prevention is the experience of forming means of prevention, the development of recommendations for a healthy lifestyle, folk traditions and ways of maintaining health, etc.;

2) medical prevention of the second level the type of prevention is focused not on the treatment of specific diseases, but on their secondary prevention;

3) third level prevention, or prevention of diseases, sets as its main task the prevention of recurrence of diseases in patients on a general population scale.

  1. Conditions and lifestyle: Diseases of modern man are caused, first of all, by his way of life and everyday behavior. Currently, a healthy lifestyle is considered as the basis for disease prevention.

Healthy lifestyle- the way of life of an individual in order to prevent diseases and promote health. A healthy lifestyle is a concept of human life aimed at improving and maintaining health through appropriate nutrition, physical fitness, morale and the rejection of bad habits.

Healthy lifestyle is a prerequisite for the development of various aspects of human life, the achievement of active longevity and the full performance of social functions.

The relevance of a healthy lifestyle caused by an increase and change in the nature of stresses on the human body due to the complication of social life, an increase in risks of a man-made, environmental, psychological, political and military nature, provoking negative changes in the state of health.

Components of a healthy lifestyle:

Try to eat right, lead a healthy lifestyle and not be nervous. From this, your life expectancy will increase for many years. Be healthy!

Everyone wants to be healthy. But in our time, human health is affected by many negative factors, such as the environment, and food products with a large number of preservatives and other chemical elements. Therefore, in order to always feel great, you need to lead a healthy lifestyle, eat only natural and wholesome food.

Human health

  1. Sport
  2. Proper nutrition
  3. Daily regime
  4. vitamins

Sport

You need to exercise regularly. The human body needs constant movement. So, for example, if you don’t do exercises every day in your youth, then by the age of fifty, your joints can hurt, blood pressure jumps, your heart and head hurt. Physical activity improves blood circulation, strengthens the cardiovascular system, and strengthens the joints. Sports also improve the immune system. Thus, people who do exercises get sick much less often, or do not get sick at all.

Proper nutrition

The choice of food should be taken more seriously and responsibly. It is better to buy fresh vegetables directly from the garden at the bazaar, as the store very often sells those that are processed with not quite useful substances. Instead of mayonnaise, it is better to take sour cream. Fatty and fried foods should be abandoned once and for all, since such food very often causes many diseases associated with the liver, stomach and intestines. You also need to limit the amount of meat consumption, and instead of milk, eat more dairy products, as they are better digested. The interval between meals should not exceed three hours. During the day, it is recommended to drink at least two liters of water. Instead of sweet confectionery, it is better to use nuts and dried fruits. In no case should you skip breakfast, or limit yourself to one sandwich with a cup of coffee. The morning meal should be complete, including dairy products, slow carbohydrates and vegetables.

Daily regime

Experts recommend sticking to a certain daily routine. This greatly facilitates the work of the body, and helps to save most of the energy. Thus, if you go to bed at the same time and eat according to the schedule, then at the end of the day, instead of the usual fatigue, you will feel cheerful and energetic. It is best to distribute your time in accordance with the biological rhythm. So, for example, it is best to go in for sports from eight to ten in the morning. But it is better to postpone facial skin care until 19.00. According to biorhythms, the highest human performance is manifested from 8.00 to 13.00, and from 16.00 to 19.00. When compiling the daily routine, you should allocate time for sleep, for work, rest, walks in the fresh air and for the main meals.

vitamins

Our health largely depends on how our body receives all the necessary vitamins and nutrients. But nowadays it is very difficult to get everything you need with food. Therefore, it would be advisable to take multivitamin complexes based on natural ingredients. Vitamins can be drunk a week after a week. At different times of the day, different needs for vitamins. Hypervitaminosis is not terrible if, in parallel with taking vitamins, you drink a large amount of water, since the liquid always removes excess vitamins from the body. Women should definitely drink vitamins B6, B12, D, calcium and, of course, folic acid, which normalizes the functioning of the cardiovascular system. For the nervous system, it is useful to take B vitamins. Make diagnostics more often, since it is better to solve any health problem sooner rather than later. Try to do a fluorography once a year.

1. Water (quality and quantity)

Everyone knows that we are 70-80% water, and newborns are 90%. In old age, this figure is much lower. Aging of an organism is its drying up. We need to think about what we drink and how much? After all, we consist of water, and not of tea, coffee, and even more so, not of sweet carbonated drinks.

Every day a person should drink 1.5-2.5 liters of water, and the water is clean. Water should not contain harmful impurities, it should be alive, i.e. negatively charged. Water should be slightly alkaline, and our taps are acidic. And not only in taps, but also in natural sources. An acidic environment is a source of disease in the body. Natural water must contain trace elements, the absence or low content of which leads to certain complications in the human body.

Pollution of natural waters with various types of bacteria threatens the occurrence of infectious diseases. And if natural reservoirs contain salts of heavy metals and other harmful impurities, then this can cause a number of serious diseases, including cancer.

2. Food

Our body is made up of what we eat. People are dying from lack of nutrients. Our body needs vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, fatty acids, and then our cells will receive high-grade material. But modern nutrition practically does not supply anything useful to the body. Food has become more harmful than beneficial. Basically, our diet consists of chemical additives and canned food. Everyone must decide for himself what he eats and how to help his body, and not harm it. Properly selected nutrition for our body will prolong our life. The choice is ours.

3. Viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc.

How we treat our body is the indicator of our health.

Our health depends only on ourselves. What kind of lifestyle do we lead? How do we eat? How many hours do we sleep? Where do we work?

All these factors affect our health. If we don't take care of ourselves, then who will?

Factors affecting health

The fact is that our life requires large investments of our labor, time and, most importantly, health, in order to achieve our goal. The situation is aggravated by bad ecology, unfavorable working conditions, defective food, bad habits, as well as many other factors that aggravate our health.

Our appearance also depends on our health. How we look, skin color, hair condition.

Daily received complex of vitamins will strengthen your immunity.

2. Timely rest and lack of stress.

Give yourself a break and enjoy your time. The physiological state of a person is greatly influenced by his psycho-emotional state. Therefore, a healthy lifestyle also includes the ability to resist stress, optimism, interest in new things, the ability to establish close relationships, positive thinking, active intellectual activity, creativity and self-realization.
