What are the 5 prayers called? Time to perform namaz. Prostration - Sujud

One of the conditions for prayer is to perform each prayer within a certain period of time. Therefore, the obligatory prayer must be performed only after the time for the appropriate prayer has arrived. Therefore, you need to know how to determine the start and end time of each obligatory prayer.

Five obligatory prayers

Allah Almighty in Holy Quran said:

Meaning: “Be strictly consistent in performing the five obligatory prayers”(Al-Baqarah, verse 238).
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There are five prayers that Allah commanded His servants to perform. Whoever performs them properly, properly, Allah has promised him Paradise. And whoever did not fulfill his duties was in danger. If Allah, according to His desire, punishes him or grants him forgiveness.".

Every adult and mentally competent Muslim (muqallaf), except for a woman who is in the period of menstruation or postpartum cleansing, must perform five prayers per day. These five prayers are obligatory prayers.
1. Morning prayer (“as-subh”);
2. Midday prayer (“az-zuhr”);
3. Afternoon prayer (“al-‘asr”);
4. Evening prayer (“al-Maghrib”);
5. Night prayer (“al-‘isha”).

Each of the obligatory prayers has its own specific time at which it must be performed. A prayer performed prematurely (even a moment before its time) is invalid. And if a person does not perform namaz within the time determined for him, without having a valid reason from a religious point of view, then he falls into great sin and he needs to compensate for this prayer.
Allah let the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) know through the angel Gabriel (peace be upon him) how to determine the time for each prayer.

Prayer times

Morning prayer (as-subh)

The time for morning prayer begins at true dawn, immediately after a white horizontal stripe appears on the eastern horizon. The time of morning prayer continues until sunrise, that is, until the solar disk appears on the eastern horizon.

Midday prayer (az-zuhr)

The time of midday prayer begins from the moment the sun deviates from the zenith towards the west, and continues until the length of the shadow of a certain object becomes equal to its height, plus the shadow when the sun was at its zenith.

Afternoon prayer (al-‘asr)

The time for afternoon prayer begins immediately after the time for midday prayer ends. Ends with full sunset, i.e. until the sun's disk completely disappears below the western horizon.

Evening prayer (al-Maghrib)

Evening prayer begins after complete sunset and continues until the glow disappears, i.e. red streak of sunset on the western horizon.

Night prayer (“al-‘isha”)

The time for night prayer begins immediately after the end of the evening prayer. The time of this prayer ends with the advent of true dawn.
The most valuable time to perform namaz is immediately after its time. The more we delay performing prayer, the less reward we receive for it. After half the time during which it is possible to perform namaz has passed, we will no longer receive any reward, but the obligation to perform namaz is considered fulfilled. For postponing the performance of namaz to an even later date without good reason a sin is recorded for us, and the later we perform namaz, the greater the sin. Therefore, it is necessary to hurry to perform the obligatory prayer when its time comes. Moreover, currently we have the opportunity to purchase a special schedule of prayer times, which makes this most important task easier for us.

From the book "Namaz - the support of religion"

Complete collection and description: Muslim prayer 5 times a day for the spiritual life of a believer.

Namaz (Arabic salat) is obligatory muslim prayers, which are performed five times every day. Namaz is the second pillar of Islam.

God has commanded Muslims to pray five times at designated times of the day:

Fajr: dawn, before sunrise

Zuhr: noon, after the sun passes its highest point

Asr: before sunset

Maghreb: just after sunset

Isha: between sunset and midnight

All Muslims pray five times a day. Muslim children are encouraged to recite the prayer from the age of seven.

Prayer sets the rhythm of the day

This schedule of reading prayers sets the daily routine for Muslims. In Islamic countries, the call to prayer from mosques sets the rhythm of the day for the entire population, including non-Muslims.

World Muslim Ritual

This prayer ritual, which is over 1,400 years old, is repeated five times every day by millions of people around the world.

Its performance is not only spiritual in the highest degree, it also unites Muslims around the world with those who have spoken these same words and made these same movements at different times in Muslim history.

Prayers for body, mind and soul

All these prayers are not just words to be said out loud.

For a Muslim, prayer means uniting the mind, body and soul as one during prayer; therefore, a Muslim reciting these prayers must perform a series of prescribed movements in time with the words of the prayer.

Muslims must be in the proper frame of mind before prayer; they must put aside all their daily worries and thoughts to concentrate solely on God.

If a Muslim prays without the proper attitude towards prayer, then it is considered that he did not pray at all.

“Woe to those praying who do not read their prayers earnestly.” (Quran, 107:4-5)

Muslims do not pray for the good of Allah.

Allah does not need human prayers because He does not need anything. Muslims pray because God commanded them to do so and because they believe that they will receive a great reward for doing so.

Muslims pray directly to God.

A Muslim prays as if he is in the presence of Allah. During the performance of ritual prayers, each individual Muslim is in direct contact with God. There is no need for a priest to act as a mediator. Despite this, in mosques there is a head of worship - an imam. An imam is not a priest, but simply a person with deep knowledge of Islam.

Namaz in the mosque

Muslims can pray anywhere, but it is especially good to pray with other believers in a mosque. Joint prayer helps a Muslim to realize that humanity is one and everyone is equal in the face of Allah.

Ritual ablution

Muslims must be clean before prayer. They purify themselves by performing a ritual ablution called wudu. Mosques have all the conditions for performing ablution.

Muslim prayer 5 times a day

Five Muslim Prayers

Compliance with the five times prayer is necessary for every righteous Muslim

As you know, Islam stands on five fundamental pillars: shahada (testimony to Allah), namaz (obligatory prayer), zakat (donation), saum (observance of the holy fast of Ramadan) and hajj (pilgrimage to holy Mecca). All these conditions are inevitable for every devout Muslim to fulfill. And if some of them (shahadah and hajj) can be performed by a believer only once in his life, then daily prayer must be observed to the fullest extent of the requirements.

Namaz is a daily obligatory five-fold prayer performed by every devout Muslim at a strictly defined time of day in a mosque or at home. It can take place collectively or individually. During prayer, suras from the Koran and duas (personal prayers to God) are read. Before each prayer, the believer also carries out a series of rigorous preparatory actions: washing the face, hands and feet, cleansing the prayer place, clothes, thoughts and soul.

Muslim prayer always begins with the imam’s characteristic call “Azan,” which foretells to all devout Muslims the time for prayer. During prayer, believers must stand on a special prayer mat with the qibla (direction) depicted on it, facing the Kaaba and Mecca. All prayers are performed exclusively in Arabic.

According to Muslim tradition, five daily prayers were established by the merciful Allah for Muslims during the ascension of the great Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of the Most High!) into heaven and is the main sign of faith and the main condition for the success of a Muslim: “Blessed indeed are the believers who are submissive in [the performance of] prayers” (Quran 23:1,2). Deliberate and unjustified disregard by a devout Muslim of prayer, as the second fundamental and immutable principle of Islam, is haram and is strictly condemned.

Only prayer five times a day gives a person the opportunity to enter into direct communication with the Creator several times a day, renewing his will with Him. In view of this, the Quran provides for a specific prayer cycle, consisting of the prayer “al-Subh” (morning), “al-Zuhr” (midday), “al-Asr” (pre-evening), “al-Maghrib” (evening) and “al -Isha” (night), which are held in accordance with certain hours of the day.

Namaz has great importance in the life of every Muslim and is an integral part of it from the very early childhood. Bequeathed by Allah himself and mentioned at least a hundred times in the Koran, the fivefold prayer is equally deeply revered by all followers of Islam and its movements throughout the world.

It started when our daughter was born. I found out about my husband’s infidelities six months ago. He asked for forgiveness and promised to improve. He said that he strongly repented of what he had done.

  • Du'as that are beneficial for illnesses

    The collection of hadiths of Tirmidhi contains a story that was reported by Asna ibn Malik. According to him, the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of the Almighty be upon him) said: “If you feel pain, then place your hand on that place and say this du’a رَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ مِنْ وَعجَعِى هَذَا. “Bismillahi aguzu bi gizzat-ilahi wa kudratihi min sharri ma ajidu min uajjagi haza” In the name of Allah, relying on the greatness and power of Allah, I seek protection from Him from this disease and its threat, which has befallen me.

  • Marriage is the most difficult of all human relationships.

    Dr. Cecil Osborne in his book “The Art of Understanding Your Spouse” talks about how a woman, following universal rules, can be happy in marriage. Let us present some, slightly modified to suit Muslim canons. In the preface, Cecil Osborne analyzes what love can be: mature, teenage, mutual and unrequited... Teenage love is a strong emotional experience, passion, subjection to emotions, a feeling of boundless happiness from the reciprocity of feelings, the inability to concentrate on something, since all thoughts are only about your loved one.

  • Omar Khayyam - life and work

    Tajik and Persian poet, mathematician and philosopher Omar Khayyam was born in the city of Nishapur in 1048. At the age of eight, Omar knew almost the entire Koran by heart. He was interested in sciences that were not quite suitable for his age - astronomy, mathematics, philosophy. Received in my hometown elementary education in an elite madrasah, then studied in Balkh, Samarkand and other major scientific centers that time. Subsequently, he successfully applied the acquired knowledge in practice.

    All praise be to Allah.

    Other mufassir such as al-Dahhaak and Sa'eed ibn Jubayr said the same thing.

    Imam al-Jassaas (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Allah said (translation of the meaning): “... prayer is prescribed for believers in set time"(maugutan) (4:103).

    It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Masud that the word “Maugutan” means prayers at the appointed time, just like Hajj.” It was narrated from ibn Abbas, Mujahid and Atiyah that the word “Maugutan” means obligatory... The word Maugutan means that prayer is obligatory at a certain time. This verse speaks generally about times and they are indicated in other verses, without specifying the exact time of the beginning and end - all this was explained in detail by the Messenger of Allah. Allah has mentioned times of prayer in His Book:

    “Perform prayer from noon until darkness sets in and read the Quran at dawn. Verily, at dawn the Quran is read in front of witnesses.” (17:78)

    Mujahid narrated from Ibn Abbas: “Noon means the time after the zenith, the time for Dhuhr, and “darkness of the night” indicates the beginning of the night, the time for Maghrib.” It is also narrated from Ibn Umar that noon means zenith….

    Allah said (translation of the meaning): “Perform namaz at the beginning and end of the day and at certain hours of the night. Verily, good deeds remove evil deeds. This is a Reminder for those who remember” (11:114)

    Abu Razin reported from Ibn Abbas that the verse “glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting” (50:39) indicates prescribed prayers.

    Ahkaam al-Qur'aan by al-Jassaas, Baab Mawaaqeet al-Salaah.

    You should also be aware that the Quran does not contain details of all the rules. The Qur'an talks about many rules, but it also says that the sunnah is the reason for many rules that are not specified in detail in the Qur'an:

    “We sent messengers with clear signs and Scriptures. And We sent down a Reminder to you so that you would explain to people what was revealed to them and so that they would think about it.” (16:44)

    “Take then what the Messenger has given you, and avoid what he has forbidden you. Fear Allah, for Allah is severe in punishment.” (59:7)

    There are many other beautiful prayers that can be learned by heart. A Muslim must recite them throughout the day and night, thereby maintaining constant contact with his Creator. The author chose only those that are simpler and easier to remember.

    There are many other beautiful prayers that can be learned by heart. A Muslim must recite them throughout the day and night, thereby maintaining constant contact with his Creator. The author chose only those that are simpler and easier to remember.

    Morning prayer - Fajr: how many rakats, time. Prayer in Islam

    One of the five pillars of Islam is namaz, prayer, with the help of which a person conducts a dialogue with the Almighty. By reading it, a Muslim pays tribute to devotion to Allah. Performing namaz is obligatory for all believers. Without it, a person loses contact with God and commits a sin, for which, according to the canons of Islam, he will be severely punished on the Day of Judgment.

    It is necessary to read namaz five times a day at a strictly prescribed time. Wherever a person is, no matter what he is doing, he is obliged to pray. Morning prayer is especially important. Fajr, as Muslims also call it, has enormous power. Its fulfillment is equivalent to a prayer that a person would read all night.

    What time do you perform morning prayer?

    Fajr prayer must be performed early morning when a white stripe appears on the horizon and the sun has not yet risen. It is during this period of time that devout Muslims pray to Allah. It is advisable that a person begins the sacred action 20-30 minutes before sunrise. IN Muslim countries people can be guided by the adhan coming from the mosque. It’s more difficult for people living in other places. How do you know when to perform Fajr prayer? The time of its occurrence can be determined by a special calendar or schedule called Ruznama.

    Some Muslims use mobile applications for these purposes, for example “Prayer Time ® Muslim Toolbox”. It will help you know when to start your prayer and determine the qibla, the direction in which the holy Kaaba is located.

    In the Arctic Circle, where day and night last longer than usual, it is more difficult for people to decide on the time at which to perform namaz. Fajr, however, must be performed. Muslims recommend focusing on the time in Mecca or in a nearby country, where the change of day and night occurs at a normal rhythm. The last option is preferable.

    What is the power of Fajr prayer?

    People who regularly pray to Allah before sunrise show deep patience and true faith. After all, in order to perform Fajr, it is necessary to rise before dawn every day, and not sleep in a sweet dream, succumbing to the persuasion of the shaitan. This is the first test that the morning has in store for a person, and it must be passed with dignity.

    People who do not succumb to shaitan and read prayer on time will be protected by the Almighty from adversity and problems until the next day. In addition, they will succeed in eternal life, because the observance of prayer will count for everyone on the Day of Judgment.

    This prayer in Islam has enormous power, because on the eve of dawn, the angels of the passing night and the coming day are next to a person, who carefully watch him. Allah will then ask them what his slave was doing. The angels of the night will answer that, when leaving, they saw him praying, and the angels of the coming day will say that they also found him praying.

    Stories of the Sahabah who performed the morning prayer against all odds

    Fajr requires strict observance, no matter what circumstances arise in a person’s life. In those distant times, when the Prophet Muhammad was still alive, people performed real feats in the name of faith. They performed namaz in spite of everything.

    The Sahabah, the companions of the Messenger of the Almighty, performed morning Fajr even when wounded. No misfortune could stop them. Thus, the outstanding statesman Umar ibn al-Khattab read a prayer while bleeding after an assassination attempt on him. He never thought of giving up serving Allah.

    And the companion of the Prophet Muhammad Abbad was struck by an arrow at the moment of performing prayer. He pulled her out of his body and continued to pray. The enemy shot at him several more times, but this did not stop Abbad.

    Sada ibn Rabi, who was also seriously wounded, died while performing prayer in a tent specially built for the sacred event.

    Preparation for prayer: ablution

    Prayer in Islam requires certain preparation. Before proceeding to any prayer, be it Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib or Isha, a Muslim is required to perform a ritual ablution. In Islam it is called voodoo.

    A devout Muslim washes his hands (hands), face, rinses his mouth and nose. He performs each action three times. Next, the believer washes each hand up to the elbow with water: first the right, then the left. After this he wipes his head. With a wet hand, the Muslim runs along it from the forehead to the back of the head. Next, he wipes the ears inside and out. Having washed his feet to the ankles, the believer should complete his ablution with words of remembrance of Allah.

    During prayer, Islam instructs men to mandatory cover the body from the navel to the knees. The rules for women are stricter. It should be completely covered. The only exceptions are the face and hands. Under no circumstances should you wear tight or dirty clothing. The person’s body, his vestments and the place where he prays must be clean. If wudhu is not enough, you need to perform full body ablution (ghusl).

    Fajr: rakat and terms

    Each of the five prayers consists of rak'ahs. This is the name for one cycle of prayer, which is repeated two to four times. The quantity depends on what kind of prayer a Muslim performs. Each rakah includes a certain sequence of actions. Depending on the type of prayer, it may vary slightly.

    Let's look at what fajr consists of, how many rakats a believer must perform and how to perform them correctly. Morning prayer consists of only two consecutive cycles of prayer.

    Some of the actions included in them have specific names that came to us from Arabic. Below is a list of the most necessary concepts that a believer should know:

    • niyat – intention to perform namaz;
    • takbir - exaltation of Allah (the words “Allahu Akbar”, meaning “Allah is Great”);
    • kyyam – staying in a standing position;
    • sajda – kneeling position or prostration;
    • dua - prayer;
    • Taslim - greeting, the final part of the prayer.

    Now let's look at both cycles of Fajr prayer. How to read a prayer, people who have only recently converted to Islam will ask? In addition to following the sequence of actions, it is necessary to monitor the pronunciation of words. Of course, a true Muslim not only pronounces them correctly, but also puts his soul into them.

    First rakat of Fajr prayer

    The first cycle of prayer begins with niyat in the qiyam position. The believer expresses his intention mentally by mentioning the name of the prayer.

    Then the Muslim should raise his hands at ear level, touch his thumbs to his earlobes and point his palms towards the qibla. While in this position, he must recite takbir. It must be spoken out loud, and it is not necessary to do it out loud. In Islam, one can exalt Allah in a whisper, but in such a way that the believer can hear himself.

    Then he palmed right hand covers the left one, clasping the wrist with the little finger and thumb, lowers the hands just below the navel and reads the first surah of the Koran “Al-Fatiha”. If desired, a Muslim can recite an additional chapter from the Holy Scriptures.

    This is followed by a bow, straightening and sajdah. Next, the Muslim straightens his back, remaining in a kneeling position, once again prostrates himself before Allah and straightens up again. This concludes the performance of the rakat.

    Second rakat of Fajr prayer

    The cycles included in the morning prayer (fajr) are performed in different ways. In the second rak'ah there is no need to recite the niyat. The Muslim takes the qiyam position, folding his hands on his chest, as in the first cycle, and begins to recite Surah Al-Fatihah.

    Then he makes two prostrations and sits on his legs shifted to the right side. In this position, you need to say the dua “At-tahiyat”.

    At the end of the prayer, the Muslim recites the Taslim. He pronounces it twice, turning his head first towards the right shoulder, then towards the left.

    This ends the prayer. Fajr is performed by both men and women. However, they perform it differently.

    How do women perform morning prayer?

    When performing the first rakat, the woman should keep her hands at shoulder level, while the man raises them to his ears.

    She makes a bow from the waist that is not as deep as a man, and while reading Surah Al-Fatiha, she folds her hands on her chest, and not below the navel.

    The rules for performing the Fajr prayer for women differ slightly from those for men. In addition to them, Muslim women should know that it is prohibited to perform it during menstruation (haid) or postpartum bleeding (nifas). Only after being cleansed of impurity will she be able to perform the prayer correctly, otherwise the woman will become a sinner.

    What should a person do if he misses his morning prayer?

    It is worth touching on another important issue. What should a Muslim do if he missed his morning prayer? In such a situation, the reason why he made such an oversight should be taken into account. A person’s further actions depend on whether she is respectful or not. For example, if a Muslim set an alarm clock, deliberately went to bed early, but despite all his actions overslept, he can fulfill his duty to the Almighty at any free time, since, in fact, he is not to blame.

    However, if the reason was disrespectful, then the rules are different. The Fajr prayer should be performed as quickly as possible, but not during those time periods when prayer is strictly prohibited.

    When should prayer not be performed?

    There are several such intervals in a day during which it is extremely undesirable to pray. These include periods

    • after reading the morning prayer and before sunrise;
    • within 15 minutes after dawn, until the luminary rises in the sky to the height of one spear;
    • when it is at its zenith;
    • after reading asra (afternoon prayer) until sunset.

    At any other time, you can make up for the prayer, but it is better not to neglect the sacred action, because the pre-dawn prayer read on time, into which a person has put his heart and soul, as the Prophet Muhammad said, is better than the whole world, more significant than everything that fills it. A Muslim who performs Fajr at sunrise will not go to hell, but will be awarded great rewards that Allah will bestow on him.

    One of the obligatory pillars of Islam that every Muslim must perform is praying five times a day (salat) to Allah Almighty at the prescribed time of day. At the same time, in order to perform namaz, certain conditions must be met. How to perform namaz correctly and what should every Muslim know before performing it?

    How to read namaz correctly - preparation

    Before starting prayer, it is necessary to perform a small (wudu) ablution or, if necessary, a complete ablution (ghusl).

    In addition to ablution, the following conditions must also be met:

    • Vestment. For women, it is allowed to leave their feet, hands and face open. In this case, the head, including the hair, must be covered. Men's heads remain uncovered.
    • The prayer should be performed towards the Kaaba (Mecca, Saudi Arabia).
    • A specific time must be observed for a specific prayer.
    • You need to express your intention to perform namaz (in the shower).

    If all of the above points are fulfilled, then you can begin to perform namaz.

    How to read namaz correctly. Five obligatory daily prayers: names and times

    • Fajr - morning prayer. This salad is performed at dawn until full sunrise, when the sun completely crosses the horizon.
    • Zuhr - midday prayer. You can pray a few minutes after the sun has passed its zenith. The period in which you need to pray ends with the beginning of the Asr prayer.
    • Asr - before evening prayer. It starts approximately two hours before sunset and needs to be done before the sun begins to disappear below the horizon.
    • Maghrib - evening prayer. The evening prayer should be performed immediately after sunset, before the evening glow is still present.
    • Isha – night prayer. With the onset of late evening, when it is already completely dark outside, you can perform isha prayer. His time spans the entire night until dawn.

    How to read namaz correctly - rules

    Let's look at performing prayer using the example of the morning Fajr prayer (consists of 2 ra'kaats). It is important that the person praying reads the prayer silently or in a whisper.

    • Stand towards the Kaaba. Lower your arms along your body and you need to look at the floor, about a meter away from you. Don't close your eyes.

    • Then the arms are bent at the elbow, open palms are raised from yourself to ear level, the takbir is pronounced: “Allahu Akbar!” (Allah is Great!). In this case, the fingers should be connected together. After pronouncing takbir, you cannot do any actions that could disrupt the prayer, because it will not be taken into account by the Almighty (laughing, talking, looking around, scratching something, and so on).

    • Afterwards, the hands are connected on the stomach above the navel. In this case, the right hand is placed on the left, clasping it at the wrist. The first ra'kaat of prayer begins. Sana is read - praise to Allah:

    “Subhanaka-llahumma wa-bi-hamdika wa-tabaraka-smuka wa-ta'ala jadduka wa jalla sana'uka wa-la 'ilaha gairuk" (“Glorified are You, O Allah, with Your Purity! Let us begin with praising You. Blessed is the Name Thine. Great is Thy Power. Mighty is Thy Glory. There is no god but Thee."

    • Then it is said: “A’uzu bi-l-lyakhi mina-sh-sheitani-r-rajim!” (“I resort to the protection of Allah from the cursed and rejected Shaitan!”).
    • Next, you need to read Surah Al-Fatihah (“The Opener”).

    Bi-smi-llahi-r-rahmani-r-rahim.
    Al-hamdu li-llahi rabbi-l-alamin.
    Ar-rahmani-r-rahim.
    Maaliki yawmi-d-din.
    Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'in.
    Ikhdina-s-siraata-l-mustakiim.
    Siraata-l-lyaziina an'amta alaihim.
    Gairi-l-magdubi aleikhim wa la-d-daaaalliin.

    In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
    Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds,
    The Gracious, the Merciful,
    Lord of the Day of Retribution!
    You alone we worship and You alone we pray for help.
    Lead us on the straight path,
    the path of those whom You have blessed, not those on whom wrath has fallen, and not those who are lost.

    • After completing the opening sura, you need to say: “Amen!” and immediately another surah is read. This could be Surah “An-nas” (People), “Al-ikhlas” (Purification of Faith), “Al-falak” (Dawn) or any other by heart.
    • After the second sura, the takbir “Allahu Akbar” is again pronounced with a raise of hands and a bow (hand) is made. At the same time, open palms are lowered to the knees, and the following is said: “Subhana rabbiyal-azim!” (Glory to the Greatest Lord!) – 3 times.

    • Then, getting up, he says: “Sami’a-l-lahu liman hamidah!” (Allah hears those who praise Him!).
    • When fully erect: “Rabbana wa-laka-l-hamd!” (Our Lord, all praise is only to You) and takbir: “Allahu Akbar!”

    • After takbir, prostration (sujud) is made. It works as follows. Your knees begin to bend, then you need to stand on them, then lower your hands in front of you and touch your forehead and nose to the floor. Your hands should be clasped at ear level at this time. In this case, the feet remain on their toes. Pronounced: “Subhana rabbi-l-a’la!” (Glory to the Lord Almighty) – 3 times.

    • Then takbir and, without getting up, sit on your left leg, bending your foot under you with your toe inward, and straighten your right leg parallel to the floor. The palms are placed on the knees, the fingers are joined and the hands lie along the hips. Then, “Allahu Akbar” is said again and a second bow is made, repeating the phrase three times: “Subhana rabbiyal-a’la.”

    • Next, takbir “Allahu Akbar” and you need to stand in reverse order. First, your arms and head come off the floor, and then you need to get up from your squat and straighten up. This is how the first ra'kaat ends.

    • This is followed by a repetition of the first ra’kaat and at the end of the second bow, the takbir is pronounced and again you need to sit on your feet. In this case, the index finger of the right hand must be straightened towards the Kaaba. The prayers “Tashahhud” and “Salyavat” are read. During these prayers, the straightened finger should move up and down without stopping.

    “At-tahiyyatu li-llahi wa-s-salyawatu wa-t-tayyibat! As-salamu ‘alaika ayyuha-n-nabiyyu wa-rahmatu-llahi wa-barakatuh! As-salamu 'alaina wa-'ala ibad-llahi-s-salihin! Ashkhadu ‘al-la ‘ilaha ila-llahu, wa-‘ashkhadu ‘anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa-rasuluh!’ (All greetings are to Allah, all prayers and righteous deeds. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, the mercy of Allah and His blessings! Peace be upon us and all the righteous servants of Allah. I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.)

    Salawat: “Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadiv-wa-‘ala ‘ali Muhammadin kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrahima wa-‘ala ‘ali Ibrahima, innaka hamidun-majid. Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadiv-wa-'ala 'ali Muhammadin kama barakta 'ala Ibrahima wa-'ala 'ali Ibrahima, innaka hamidun-majid" (O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Truly , You are Glorious, Praiseworthy and Great. O Allah! Show Your generosity to Muhammad and his family, as You bestowed Your generosity on Ibrahim and his family. Verily, You are Glorious, Praiseworthy and Great).

    • After salawat, you need to turn your head to the right and say: “As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatu-l-lah” (Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you), and then to the left and again: “As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatu-l-lah.”
    • Fajr prayer is over. All other prayers, except Maghrib, consist of 4 ra’kaats. After the first two, when the tashahud is pronounced until “Ashhadu ‘al-la ‘ilahu illa-llahu ...”, the takbir “Allahu Akbar!” is said again, you need to get up and repeat two more ra’kaats. Maghrib consists of 3 ra'kaats.

    Before you start praying, you need to become familiar with when you can’t perform namaz, what violates namaz, how to properly perform ablution, and much more. At first it may seem that everything is very difficult, but it is not! The most important thing is that after prayer you will feel inner peace and satisfaction! Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you!
