Walkthrough dms 5. Complete walkthrough of Devil May Cry

Mission 1. Discovered.

We watch the introductory video and begin to destroy the enemies. Before starting the game, in the main menu we select the training mode and practice strikes, if this is our first game from the slasher genre. Also, as the battle progresses, we break third-party objects, from which red spheres spill out. You can use them to purchase various devices in the store. We will gain access to them before the start of each task, or we can try to find the Divine Statues in the game itself. There are also white spheres in the game. The more we collect, the more improvements will be unlocked in the store. We run after Kat, jumping over the fence.

We get two pistols. We deal with the flyers in the air that emit mines. The affected area can be easily seen from the highlighted area. We kill opponents and follow the road. After talking with Kat, we shoot the spiders, after which we move on. Having noticed the Lost Soul, we begin to strike at it. For the soul, we will receive an increase in points at the end of the task.

We go left and come across a Copper Key, which accordingly unlocks the copper gate. We go back, follow the alley to the carousel. We throw the enemies into the air, thereby forcing them to collide with the spinning attraction. We climb onto hills using double jumps. We take the golden sphere, it will revive us if we suddenly die. After jumping, we can use the divine statue to purchase improvements.

The enraged Hunter destroyed the Ferris wheel. We destroy the enemies and quickly run into the building on the right (the entrance is at the far end). Before doing this, you will need to dodge to the side several times. We move along the corridor, then we go down lower and find ourselves in a trap. We kill the opponents and get out, jumping to avoid collisions with dangerous mechanisms. Turn right and run until the fight with the Hunter boss begins. We jump to his head and deliver a series of powerful blows until we “soften” the enemy. We continue to attack, soon he will wake up and climb higher. In this case, we shoot exclusively with pistols, provoking him to go back down. We repeat these steps and finally kill the Hunter.

Mission 2. The bitter truth.

Together with Kat, we arrive at the headquarters of the Order, where we meet with our twin brother Virgil. He brings us to the house where we lived as a family. To clarify the circumstances, we go to Limbo through the portal that Kat opened.

We get out into the hall, go up along the left side. We head into the room and find a painting depicting Sparda. We deal with the opponents, then a death knight appears, who has a shield, so we attack him from the back. We interact with the picture, and the Arbiter appears. Powerful but slow - great against enemies with a shield. Having dealt with our enemies, we leave the room into the corridor. We go lower and lower, then jump up. Having destroyed the enemies, we go up along the right side.

We strike with the referee at the marked door. In the room we deal with the enemies. We remove the props from under the bed and mentally move into a certain space. We move by jumping from one platform to another. We use the additional function of the arbiter and attract the islands, catching them by the red rings. From now on we can pull up enemies too. This is especially useful in the case of flyers. Having reached the fastener made of stone, we hit it with the arbiter three times.

Returning to Limbo, we move on. Let's jump down, then the corridor will collapse, and we will attract red rings as usual. Having broken through the door, we meet Batosov with shields. The first time we pull them towards us, their shield will fly off. We get to the building, destroy the door. We go into the room with the mother’s painting. We kill the enemies, touch the painting and get a new weapon called Osiris. Outwardly, it looks like a scythe, which can easily destroy entire groups of small opponents. We go out into the open area and get to the next building. Having broken through the door, we go inside and split the blue stems with Osiris. We find a rose and are transported to the statue.

We move around the islands, use Osiris to attract us to the blue rings. Similarly, we cling to enemies to cross chasms. We destroy the mount and return to Limbo. We kill our enemies, and at the last moment we notice a broken photo frame. Having walked through the memories, we get to the portal along moving islands, and then along a collapsing corridor.

Mission 3. Pedigree.

After communicating with Virgil, we find ourselves in Limbo and immediately begin to fight with enemies. We meet Ravagers who use chainsaws. During their attacks, it is advisable to dodge and only then continue to strike. When the passage opens, we will not be able to go further, as the road has collapsed and an abyss has formed. Let's go back and continue to deal with opponents. A blue ring will appear at the top, climb up along it and kill another devastator. We run forward and fly along the rings to the blue rose.

Angelic acceleration will help you cover long distances in the air. Don't forget to combine it with regular jumps. That is, first we carry out ordinary jumps and only then angelic acceleration. With rings it’s a little more complicated: we perform the usual pull, release the pressed button, and press it again to perform an angelic acceleration. We get to the fastener and destroy it.

Returning to Limbo, we use the attraction to the Pathos and kill them. We go down and finish off the remaining enemies. Now we can return to the abyss and cross it with the help of angelic acceleration.

Mission 4. At gunpoint.

The CCTV system detected us and we were transported to Limbo. We destroy the enemies at the intersection, then move along the left street and pull up the red ring at the top of the building on the right. Pull the blue ring, go up and jump over to the right street. We get to the CCTV camera and pull the eye inside it.

We go down and try to go further, but the resulting abyss will not allow us to do this. Kat found an alternative path, go right and meet hellish fragments. We quickly shoot at them to prevent a collision. Angelic acceleration will help you avoid the abyss. We destroy the enemies, turn left. In order not to end up in a flattened state, we quickly run straight and, in addition, jump so as not to fall down. New enemies appear - ice knights. We attack them with Osiris, only this weapon can penetrate the armor of these enemies. Let's walk along the right street, pull ourselves towards the blue ring and jump over to the left. Having turned around, we will continue to jump towards the intersection and destroy the next eye. We go down and head into the left passage towards Kat.

Pull out the red ring and climb up. We turn right and tighten our eyes. We deal with the enemies that appear. We go along the left street to the opened passage. We carry out a long run between the buildings until we can enter the right one. From here we jump down and quickly shoot the hellish fragments. We go down the slope, there are enemies again, and finally - the Tyrant. He can only be attacked from behind, and before that you need to pull yourself up with the help of Osiris. We shouldn’t carry out large combinations, otherwise we won’t have time to dodge the powerful blow of the enemy. Having dealt with the Titan, we jump on the islands/rings as usual and leave the temple.

Mission 5. Virility.

Having arrived at the plant, we follow Kat to the warehouse. We are looking for a rift that will take us to Limbo. Once at the bottom, we jump along the islands using red and blue rings. We destroy the enemies, pull out the black barrier, use a double jump and angelic acceleration to get to the island. From here we rise higher, pull ourselves up to the blue ring and pull out the red ring. We pass through the container and begin the battle with the hell knight. We use a referee and deliver powerful blows, there is no other way. Periodically, the knight uses inferno, which covers a certain area around him with lava. As soon as we saw that the enemy stuck his weapon into the ground, it was time to retreat.

We go into the building, after going to the end, we climb up using the boxes. We move to the opposite side, clinging to the rings. We destroy the knights, using the appropriate weapons for each of them. Next, we get to the room, destroy the enemies and return through the corridors to the mixing room. Here we kill many enemies in the same way. At the end we deal with two tyrants. We look both at the enemies and behind them so as not to run into acidic liquid. We attack enemies exclusively on the back, attracting them with the help of Osiris.

Mission 6. Secret ingredient.

Accompanied by Kat, we get to the pit and jump into it. Gravity changes, the wall becomes the floor. This state will last only two minutes, so we immediately move towards the fan. We ignore enemies and are attracted to the blue rings. Having reached the fan, pull the ring on the left side. We slowly walk along the huge pipe and meet the succubus.

Enemy attacks:
1) Swing your hand - make a jump to dodge.
2) Strike with both hands in the center - we dodge to the side.
3) Strong blowing - we move away.
4) Eruption - we move along the rings to the neighboring island.

Our attacks:
1) After the enemy attacks, we use an auxiliary strike with Osiris on the red head.
2) We beat the weakened enemy as an arbiter.

After each stage, you need to pull out the hose and then move to the adjacent island.

Having won a partial victory, we are transferred to the opposite side and continue the battle with the enemy. We pull ourselves up by the blue rings and literally pull out the earth from under the succubus. We destroy the last obstacle that the enemy has clung to. A new addition to the list of weapons is the Erics gauntlets.

Mission 7. Subversion.

We teleport to Limbo and go upstairs. We use the erix blow to destroy the red crystal. Those crystals in the floor are destroyed by an air strike. We follow the blue rings to the van and flip it back using Erics. We go up, split the passage and deal with the opponents. We arrive at the prison, from here we grab the blue ring on the left side. The islands will lead us to the main street.

As usual, pull yourself up to the blue ring and then hold the jump button to make a dash. We turn left and move around the obstacle. We kill two batos and return to the street. We make a dash, penetrate the premises and destroy the opponents. We move to the next room, catching on the ring. We deal with anger, trying to dodge their cutting blows. You also need to dodge when the anger is really angry, filling with bright light. We get to the lift, bring it down with Eric from the air. We break several crystals, deal with our anger and go outside, clinging to the blue ring. After running a little across the bridge, it will collapse. Therefore, let's turn right and get to the old man who is being mocked by the harpies. We shoot or destroy them, having previously pulled them up with an arbiter.

Mission 8. Without eyes.

The old man had a problem with his eye. We need to take it from the harpies. Our new acquaintance will lure them, and then we will have to move over to them and begin the pursuit. We grab the blue and red rings. Before the abyss, we turn left and thereby go around it. We get to the tunnel and periodically dodge the train to the rails that it does not occupy. We get out to the platform, deal with the enemies and jump into the passage on the left. We go down, destroying the fragments along the way. We destroy the obstacle with the help of Erics. We continue to go straight until we reach the eye. Having pulled him in, we hold the defense without retreating from the center. We use a pistol against the flyers. We shoot at the harpies as they prepare to attack. Also, don’t forget to attract opponents.

Along the opened passage, we return to the old man. The path is the same, however, the enemies have become stronger. We deal with a couple of enemies on the platform, with the brat in the tunnel and finally with the tyrant.

Mission 9. The devil from within.

We cross the restored bridge to the opposite side. We destroy the door with the help of the arbiter. After talking with the old man, we go down from island to island. In the air, hold down the corresponding button to extend the flight. We meet a new enemy - a witch. We pierce her armor with Osiris, then strike with any weapon. We climb up, clinging to the rings. We make a dash and take the key.

The new Hell Trigger ability allows you to briefly disable all enemies. During this time, we pull them towards us and kill them. We return to Limbo and go through the rings into the building. We destroy many enemies, get out and go to the next building. We deal with the enemies in the same way, then we climb up and meet with the old man.

Mission 10. Bad news.

We move along the bridge to the tower. The protective beam will not allow you to pass through so easily, so we act quickly, moving along the islands. Before meeting the boss, we move along multi-colored platforms. Big head Boba Barbasa is in the center. We can attack it after we hit one of the red marks in the floor with Erix while in the air. The enemy will send multi-colored holograms at us. We dodge them in a jump; It is impossible to evade the wall-forming one, but there are voids inside that you can pass through without taking damage. After defeating the red mark, we proceed to destroy the head. We monitor the redness of the area, this means you need to move away from the affected area. Then, we survive among the brats while the report goes on. We continue the fight with Bob, performing similar actions. The only difference is the number of marks required to strike. Having won the battle, we get a pair of sharp aquilas, which are most effective against a large number of small enemies.

Mission 11. Order of Chaos.

Going downstairs, we pass into the alley. Here we deal with many of the abominations using aquilas. We also meet a new enemy - the butcher. We strike at his round belly and move away in time as soon as he begins to swing. We cling to the rings and climb up. While on the island, we throw aquila at the stems. We go into the building and break down the door with Eric. We destroy the stems and go down. Moving on, we break the crystal in the floor.

We destroy a large number of enemies and wait for the special forces to arrive. When the passage opens, we go forward. We continue to deal with enemies. The special forces cannot keep up with us, so we go around the door from above, clinging to the ring, having previously destroyed the stems. We go around the next door on the right, breaking through the wall with Eric. We encounter a maliciously smiling enemy. His attacks are very fast. Therefore, we concentrate all our attention on his tricks. After them, we unleash a flurry of blows. We do this several times until the enemy disappears. We meet with a pretty frightened Kat.

Mission 12. Under siege.

We help Kat detain the special forces. We pull the rings in the places where the girl paints with a spray can. We continue to follow her until Kat again needs our help with neutralizing the curious fighter. We arrive at the server room and find Virgil. We destroy the butcher, after which we communicate with our allies.

We hold off the enemies while Virgil and Kat try to destroy important data. Here we will encounter small creatures - the spawn of wrath. We will also get a more powerful weapon to replace pistols - the “Resurrected” shotgun.

Mission 13. Devil's hobby.

We arrive at the club controlled by Lilith. Before we get there, we will eliminate the enemies that have been brought upon us. We leave the pit and go straight to the statue. In front of the abyss, on the floor, you can see a red square. Having jumped up, we hit it with the erix and begin a game consisting of seven rounds.

We move forward by holding the button to switch to the demonic state when there is a red light on the floor, and accordingly hold the button to switch to the angelic mode when we see a bright light. We move from one site to another, dealing with a small number of enemies. In the sixth round, you need to destroy different angers, using an angelic weapon against a ghostly one, and a demonic weapon against a fiery one.

Mission 14. Last dance.

We continue the game, this time our opponent will be Lilith herself and her cub. We grab the hand in the cub's side with an angelic grip and strike with an erix or any other weapon. After several good luck, a third eye will open on the monster's forehead. Now we cling to him and deliver similar blows. After depleting the enemy's health, half of the mother's torso will appear. We pull it out completely using the demonic grip. We attack Lilith until she again disappears into the depths of her cub. We repeat the steps from the beginning of the mission. After two bars of health, you will need to additionally tighten the arm in the cub's side with a demonic grip before hooking it with an angelic grip.

Mission 15. Exchange.

Having agreed on a deal with the demons, we meet them at the port. During the exchange, Virgil shoots Lilith, killing her and the baby. We help friends who are in the car. Large objects will appear in front of them, which we remove by pulling them by the ring or hitting them with an erix.

We get to the warehouse, here we kill our enemies and then, flying to the propeller, we pull it by the red ring. We land on the roof of the van, from which we cling to the blue rings and cross to the other side. The last obstacle is the overhead tracks. We demolish them with a blow from Eriks.

Mission 16. Plan.

We jump on the islands using blue and green rings. Having reached the main doors leading inside the tower, we hold back the onslaught of enemies. Elite hellspawn are practically no different from ordinary hellspawn. They kill just as quickly, but they are able to deliver long-range fire strikes on the ground. When the time report appears, you need to run inside.

Having penetrated the tower, we set off to explore the floors. We kill the elite guard - the dreamer. We move along the left side, run into the elevator and go to the top floor. We communicate with Virgil, go to the right side. We move along the windows, after destroying the enemies, the door to the bridge will open. We move along it to another part of the tower. Having destroyed the enemies, we cling to the ring at the top. After going straight a little, there will be an elevator on the left side. We rise even higher, let's go left. We clear several enemies office premises. We cling to the ring at the top. We continue to deal with opponents until we get to the next bridge. The top of the laser wall periodically turns off for a couple of seconds. We jump and perform an angelic acceleration.

We meet with Virgil in the elevator. A new weapon is a stun gun, which operates on the “shoot and detonate” principle. Having destroyed the enemies, we get to the collapsing bridge. We go to the other side, grabbing the rings. We use the elevator to overcome several more floors. We discover a core through which you can get into Mundus’s lair. We kill many enemies, including a slightly improved dreamer - Drekavac. We attack in the same way as we attacked the dreamer. We break into the core, clinging to the blue rings.

Mission 17. Crucible of souls.

We move around the islands at a certain time. It is safe to be in them when an eruption occurs. During the flight, quickly pull the red rings. We split the stems and go through the opened passage. We deal with many enemies, after which we go to Mundus’s lair.

Mission 18. Lair of the Demon.

Let's visit each of the tunnels and start four generators. All you have to do is pull them by the red rings, destroy the enemies and return to the fork. Then we line up signs on the ground opposite each of the statues with the corresponding sign. We strike the crystals with Erix to rotate the mechanisms. To begin, we place two signs in each of the two diagonally opposite circles. Then we rotate the circles and signs, they will fall into place on their own.

Mission 19. Face of the Demon.

As soon as the gameplay begins, we move to the neighboring building on the right, clinging to the blue rings. After using the infernal trigger, again using the rings, we fly up to Mundus’s eye and pull it out. Once in the building, we move forward, clearing the path of obstacles with the infernal grip, Erics and the arbiter. Virgil will be imprisoned while we deal with the boss. We dodge huge hands. Marks will be visible on the ground where the enemy's fist will land. Then we quickly cling to them and carry out a series of blows. Periodically, Mundus will cover the roof with lava, at this moment you need to move along the rings to another building. Having destroyed each of the enemy’s hands, we apply a hellish grip in front of his eyes. And lastly, avoiding fireballs, we attack Mundus’s mouth until we defeat the demon lord.

Mission 20. The end.

In the fight with Virgil we act approximately the same as in the fight with the dreamer. We hit the enemy after his attacks. Daggers and blades will also fly at us; we can try to deflect them from a distance with a regular blow of a sword. At the final stage of the battle, Vergil will have a copy. If the infernal trigger bar is full, then we immediately activate the ability and deal a decisive blow to Virgil. If the strip is depleted, then we fight against the copy. Successful hits will give us dark orbs that replenish the infernal trigger scale. Let's watch the final video.

After watching the welcome video, you will wake up as Dante, who spent a stormy night. He'll open his eyes in his trailer and hear a knock on the door. Opening it, you will see a girl who will warn you that you have inherited and now a hunter is on the trail who will try to drag you into Limbo by all means. In less than 60 seconds, her words will turn out to be true and you will find yourself in a parallel world. You need to start playing DMC: Devil May Cry by changing clothes, and then starting to deal with the monsters. You should carefully look at the screen and follow the recommendations that will be indicated there. Also, when shredding opponents, red and white spheres will be sprinkled, which have their own meanings.

White spheres - they can fill the improvement indicator bar, with the help of which new skills will become available to you in the improvement store. Spheres are red - you can spend them on health, buy modifications, or go to the store and choose something else for yourself.

Then Kat will try to unblock the road, and you will need to jump over and continue on. Now you will be able to see how far away from you the pistols are hung on the bra. To get to them, you need to cross a practically destroyed bridge. Be careful because you will be attacked now. After you have dealt with all the demonic offspring, go up to the girl and introduce yourself. It turns out that her name is Kat and she can see the future, that is, she is a psychic. She, just like you, can simultaneously be both in reality and in Limbo. The further passage of the game DMC: Devil May Cry must be done by following her, as she will want to help. Along the way you will meet small spiders, which you need to crush in order to profit from red spheres. Then you will see a window from which the soul of a sinner is sticking out, approach it and hand-to-hand send it to heaven. This way, you'll have some small orb bonuses in your hands when you finish this quest.

Now you need to go between the buildings to reach a very fast spinning carousel. There will be demons near her that need to be thrown up, so they will hit the carousel. Then go further and when you see hills blocking the path, jump on them. To do this, you need to hold down the button responsible for the jump and then press it again once. When the golden sphere is in your hands, you will be rewarded with extra life. Then continue through the game DMC: Devil May Cry and jump down, and then head to the divine statue, with which you can purchase modifications.

Suddenly the Hunter will appear and bring down the Ferris wheel. It is worth noting that this fact also just happened in reality. You should eliminate the opponents and wait for the moment when the Hunter launches some kind of device at you in order to deviate to the side. Then you can quickly run to the exit, located at the very end, a little to the right, and climb inside. Now go through the corridors, thus going lower and lower. It turns out that the passage was blocked using mechanisms, and you will need to clear the area. After dealing with the demons, move forward and be sure to remember to jump over the fairly sharp saws. You can also wait a little, and after a while they will open on their own.

Once you're outside, find and go out into the huge area, because that's where you'll be fighting the Hunter. Now you need to jump high and hit him in the head. After the enemy gives up his positions, you can finish him off. If he climbs onto the beams, just move away a little and shoot him in the head. Thus he will be forced to come down. If you continue to play through this battle in DMC: Devil May Cry in this order, then sooner or later the Hunter will die.

Mission 2. The bitter truth

Now Kat will ask you to accompany her to the Order headquarters, as she needs to meet with the boss. When you arrive, talk to Virgil, who is Dante's twin brother. In order to check this information, go to the house where you once lived with your parents and brother. It is there that Kat will activate the portal and you will be taken to Limbo.

Walk along the corridor until you hit the stairs, and then go further. As soon as you find yourself in the room where the painting of Sparda that belonged to your dad hangs, deal with your opponents. It is worth noting that among them will be a death knight with a shield. To make this battle in DMC: Devil May Cry successful, you should attack this demon only from behind and try to throw him into the air very often. If you touch the painting, the Arbiter weapon will become available. With its help, you can deliver quite powerful blows that can penetrate the shields protecting opponents. As soon as you deal with the demons, leave the room through the passage that will be on the side. Then jump up and go through the loophole located on the left side. Having gone even lower, start jumping and this way you will find yourself at the top. So, you are standing near the stairs, where demonic creatures are already preparing to attack. You also need to destroy them all, and then climb up the stairs that are on the right.

Now look around and find the door that glows with a bright red glow. Take out the arbitrator and approach it, and then hack it. Then be careful, because as soon as you reach the next room, opponents with shields will already be waiting for you. There will be three of them. Also use the referee against them and try to dodge constantly. Then, in the passage of the game DMC: Devil May Cry, you need to crawl under the bed, where you can find one artifact with which you can find yourself in an unknown world in which there is a huge statue in chains. Now you should jump over the platform and, with the help of the referee, attract other platforms. To do this, apply it to the red rings. You can also attract flying geeks to you, and then finish them off on the ground. As soon as you find yourself near the stone fastener on which the chain hangs, you will see a red mark. Take out the Arbiter and use it to hit this mark three times.

Now in the passage of DMC: Devil May Cry you need to return to Limbo. Once you're there, go forward and then jump down. Once in the corridor, walk along it until you hit the red rings. Then you should pull them and take out the arbiter and use it to destroy the door. Then attract enemies with shields to you and eliminate them. Now look carefully and you will see the ghost of the mother, which you should follow. When you run into the door, break it down again and go to the room where the painting is. Be careful because the demons will attack you again. After you kill them, go up and touch the painting. Thus, another new weapon “Osiris” will appear in your arsenal. With its help, you can chop into pieces a huge number of opponents. Having picked up the trunk, go through the passage to the street. There you need to move to the next building and break down the door blocking the path. Once you're inside, take out the Osiris and use it to deal with the blue stems. Then, in the passage of the game DMC: Devil May Cry, you need to break down another door in order to find yourself near a blue rose, which will take you to a rather strange world.

Once in it, you should move by jumping from one platform to another. In order to be attracted to the blue rings, you need to use Osiris. You can also jump over gorges if you latch onto an enemy who is on the opposite side. As soon as you find yourself near the second fastening, break it immediately. As soon as you find yourself in Limbo, fight the demons, and then go to the door. Near it you will notice a photo, looking at which, the main character will remember the entire event that happened to him in childhood. Now all you have to do is return to reality with the help of changing platforms. Then slowly, you can walk further along the corridor.

Mission 3. Pedigree

At the beginning of this chapter, your twin brother will talk about how Mother Eve died and about the imprisonment of Sparta. So, the powerful demon Mundus led an army of hordes. His most faithful friend and assistant was Sparda. But one fine day, he betrayed Mundus because he lost his head from the angel Eve. As a result, twin brothers Virgil and Dante were born. Mundus considers them his sworn enemies and calls them the Nephilim. The ruler of the demons finished off Eve with his own hands, and threw Sparda into captivity. Now there is a legend that says that only the Nephilim can destroy Mundus. Continuing the passage of DMC: Devil May Cry, you need to move to Limbo and deal with your opponents. Now demons with chainsaws will appear, which become dangerous only when they begin to glow with a bright light. Now it’s better not to attack, but simply move away, because you are now unable to prevent their attack. Kat will then open the gate for you to continue through. It is worth noting that the abyss that has now formed is not so easy to cross, so you should turn around and continue to repel the enemy’s attack. The moment you see a blue ring, grab onto it and climb to the very top. Then deal with the Ravager and move on. Using a huge number of rings, make your way to the very center, where the blue rose lies, and pick it up.

Thus, a new skill will become available to you - Angelic Acceleration. Now you can hold down the indicated button, and then the button responsible for the jump. This way you can move across the platforms. If you find yourself in front of a huge abyss, then use a double jump at the very beginning, and only after that use angelic acceleration. When passing the pull-up to the rings in DMC game: Devil May Cry, you need to release the special button for a couple of seconds, and then press it back simultaneously with angelic acceleration. Now look around and approach the stone fastening. After you destroy it, return to Limbo again. As soon as you find yourself there, a new type of demon will attack - Pathos. You should get close to them very quickly and then destroy them. They can fire a laser at you, if this happens, try to dodge it. Once you kill everyone, move to the abyss and cross it with the help of angelic acceleration.

Now you will know that the head of the demons, Mundus, turns out to be living calmly in reality. The largest bank in the world is under his control.

"Demons Also Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition." What kind of stupid name is this? And most importantly - what kind of game is this, some kind of third part?

By the way, this is one of the masterpieces of the Sony PlayStation 2. On the PC, normal “fencing” games can be counted on one hand. Not everyone will probably remember when the last one came out.

However, it’s hard to call Devil May Cry 3 an ordinary hack. This is a truly unique game. Believe me, such masterpieces come out no more than once a year. I just implore you, before you sit down to play the game, be sure to buy and set up a joystick. Otherwise, you will break your fingers on the keyboard and will not understand a tenth of the advantages of the project.

But we will praise and criticize the game in the review. Now we have to disassemble the game brick by brick so that the dear reader can cope with it easily and naturally. That's what we'll do.

Game mechanics

So what do you need to know about the game? There are two options to start the game: Yellow Orbs and Gold Orbs. In the first case, if you are defeated, you can start from the last checkpoint by spending a yellow ball. In the second, continue the game from the last checkpoint without spending anything. Or use the golden ball and continue from the place of death.

What are balls? There are several types of them, each with its own properties. You can purchase these items in the store or find them during the game. Here's the full list.

  • Red Orb- local currency. It can be used to buy items, techniques, and improve weapons. They are knocked out from opponents, are on the level and are given for passing.
  • Vital Star S- restores some health. You can also restore health by picking up green balls dropped from opponents.
  • Vital Star L- restores more health.
  • Devil Star- restores Devil Trigger.
  • Holy Water- destroys all enemies in the area and deals significant damage to bosses. It's incredibly expensive, so it's easier to find than to buy.
  • Blue Orb- these balls add one bar to your health. You can't buy them that easily. You need to find four of their fragments, and only then the ball will become available for purchase. But only one. To buy a second one, you will have to find four more fragments.
  • Purple Orb- adds one ball to Devil Trigger.
  • Yellow Orb- the same ball for restoring the game that was mentioned above.

What's happened Devil Trigger? After the seventh mission, Dante will be able to turn into a demon for a limited time - until the balls under the health bar run out. What does this give? Strength and speed. Dante moves faster and enemies die three times faster.

Balls are restored during fights or with a special object. Often the only way to win a battle is with Devil Trigger. This is especially noticeable in boss fights. Also, some moves require Devil Trigger to be activated.

During the game, you will come across rocks that resemble the sun more than once. They need to be hit a number of times to light the lights. Usually this is the “switch” of some action. You will also find crystals, breaking which you will get a bunch of red balls.

Besides all this, there are war statues. They contain fragments of blue balls, and they can be broken with certain weapons. If the weapon is chosen incorrectly, it will be written about after the first hit. Sometimes the task becomes more complicated, and you need to perform a combination of strikes of a certain level.

To make it clearer, I will give an example. Let's say you made a crazy combination from the list " Dante's Weapon" or " Virgil's Weapon" An inscription and a scale below it appeared in the upper right corner of the screen. Quickly carry out the second combination of strikes. The scale filled up, another inscription appeared with a new scale.

In other words, the faster and harder you hit, the faster the “combo meter” fills. The highest result is SSStylish, but it is not so easy to achieve. Therefore, breaking some statues can be an impossible task.

Monsters

Hell's Jailers

Hell Pride

The first enemy you will face. Slow, attacks with a scythe when it gets close close quarters. There is an improved version of the demon that moves faster, hits harder and looks different.

Hell Lust

Attacks a little unusual. First he jumps back, then makes a sharp lunge with his scythe.

Hell Sloth

A demon created from sand. He can teleport to the victim, after which he hits him with a scythe.

Hell Gluttony

It is made of sand and spits with it. He doesn't shoot often, but he shoots accurately. It’s better to finish him off first so that he doesn’t have time to do any mischief.

Hell Greed

He drags a huge coffin, which hurts him. He can also stick it into the ground to summon ghosts that attack the character. You need to hit when summoning ghosts, otherwise you won’t break through the block.

Hell Wrath

He carries with him a huge ball that explodes as soon as the demon reaches the character. The explosion also destroys enemies. He needs to be fired at with pistols from afar. It is advisable to blow up enemies in a crowd.

Hell Vanguard

Perhaps the most dangerous of these demons. Deals a double blow with a scythe, and can also suddenly teleport to strike from the air or make a sharp throw.

Damn chess

Damned Pawn

A pawn is a weak opponent; often it doesn’t even have time to hit. Before attacking, his swords will burst into flames.

Damned Bishop

Instead of a sword, this figure holds a magic staff from which he fires fireballs. It is dangerous because it attacks from afar. Therefore, try to deal with it quickly.

Damned Knight

Quite a mobile figure. Jumps quickly, trying to crush the character, or tries to gore him to death. When fighting with her, the main thing is not to miss the attack and jump to the side.

Damned Rook

Once stopped, this figure will open the center and shoot lasers in four directions. It is better not to be under attack at this moment.

Damned Queen

You will only meet the queen on the chessboard. She quickly moves along the purple path, trying to ram the character.

Damned King

The king is also found exclusively on the chessboard. Controls other figures. If you kill him, the rest will disintegrate into dust. Can switch places with Damned Rook and create a small explosion around itself.

Other demons

Abyss

Three attacks. Strike with a sickle. A sharp lunge and a blow. Finally, he can teleport away and fire a ball of lightning.

Arachne

Three attacks. A simple hit. Rebound and impact. Shots a web that will captivate the character for a while. The last attack is especially dangerous.

Bloodgoyles

Cunning beasts. To destroy them, you need to shoot them with a pistol, then they will turn into stone. Finish with the sword. If you simply hit it with a sword, the monster will spawn a copy of itself. Attacks with a sharp throw followed by a blow.

Enigma

Animated arrow statues. They try not to get into hand-to-hand combat, but to fire from afar. Their charges knock the character down, making him vulnerable to other attacks. Therefore, attack them first, otherwise they will spoil the blood considerably.

Dullahan

A knight completely clad in armor. It can only be broken through by attacking from behind. I tried in vain not to get involved with these demons - it was too much trouble. If possible, it is better to run past. Their attack is a swift ram.

Soul Eaters

Dangerous demons. They try to ram the character or lift him into the air to drain Devil Trigger.

Fallen

This demon is more difficult than other bosses. He can only be hit by hitting him in the stomach. But to do this you will have to break through the protection from the wings. Attacks in the following ways: throw and sharp blow with a sword; throw with a sword, which explodes after a while, causing damage in a decent radius.

Styles

The game has six styles for Dante and one for Vergil. How you play the game depends on your style. Four styles are available initially. The last two will have to be obtained as you progress. Basic styles increase in level, after which new movements become available.

Trickster

This style allows Dante to dash and dodge attacks. That is, in this way it is easier to defend against attacks, but you yourself will not be able to cause damage, as with the Swordmaster style. However, I recommend that beginners use this particular style. If you are playing for the first time, it will be much easier.

Press circle and movement key. Dante will rush to the side. This is useful when you need to quickly disappear to avoid an attack. As Dante levels up, he will begin to move further and faster.

Standing near a wall, press circle. Dante will run along the wall and make a dashing jump. You can use this maneuver after a double jump to get even higher.

Jump, move key and circle. Dante will do an acrobatic trick in the air. To be honest, it’s not entirely clear when this might come in handy. Unless you dodge an attack. But rarely does anyone attack in the air...

Forward, R1 and circle. Dante will disappear and appear in front of the monster you have targeted. Extremely useful in boss battles, and also useful in regular battles.

Swordmaster

The style adds new techniques for melee weapons. With its help, you can deal colossal damage and make crazy combinations of attacks. For techniques, see the chapter “ Hand to hand combat».

Gunslinger

Adds new techniques for firearms. Yes, pistols are much inferior to swords, but if you learn how to play, you can deal decent damage and make the most beautiful combinations. For weapon techniques, see the chapter “ Firearms».

Royal Guard

Interesting style. Allows you to absorb damage and return it to opponents. True, it is difficult to master, but if you master it, you will get a fantastic result. This style especially helps on higher difficulty levels.

Block. Press circle when the enemy attacks - this will deflect the blow and stun the demon. The same can be done in the air. If you hold down the circle, you will take 25% less damage. It is clear that the first is more profitable, but it is more difficult to implement.

Attack. After parrying a bunch of enemy attacks, press circle to perform a counter combo. The damage done is colossal. The same can be done in the air. Just make sure the enemy is nearby, otherwise the attack will go into the void.

Shield. After parrying a lot of hits, press R1, back and circle. Dante will create a shield that deflects enemy attacks and converts them into extra health. It’s just wonderful: Dante is killed, and he recovers before our eyes!

Quicksilver

You will get this style by defeating the demon horse. It allows you to stop time until Devil Trigger ends. The opponents stop, which gives Dante the opportunity to attack with impunity. An extremely useful style - against both bosses and lesser demons. Press R1 and circle to activate the ability.

Doppelganger

Having defeated the shadow at level seventeen, Dante will be able to turn into a demon and summon a double who exactly repeats his actions. True, sometimes he attacks enemies on his own. This style is useful because you can deal double damage in one attack. Press R1 and circle to activate the ability.

Dark Slayer

The unique and only style of Virgil, Dante's twin brother. He's reminiscent of Trickster. In general, playing as Vergil is much easier. He scatters demons in small groups, which is not very interesting.

Hold Circle, R1 and Circle or Forward (toward enemy) and Circle. Virgil will instantly move to the enemy. If you throw a monster, Vergil will teleport to the enemy in the air. This allows you to quickly move from enemy to enemy, striking and dodging oncoming attacks. It's not easy to master, but it's very effective.

R1, forward and circle. Virgil appears above the enemy. Useful when the enemy is about to block an attack or attack. Surprise him and hit him from above. You can do a similar trick if you press R1, back and circle.

Virgil's Weapon

Hand to hand combat

Yamato

3 times triangle. Three-hit combination. The latter hits all opponents who are in the way. Not bad for dealing with a crowd.

Uppercut and punch a thrown opponent. Pressing triangle a second time is not necessary if you just want to throw your opponent up.

Jump, triangle. Double kick in the air.

Throw towards the enemy and double hit. Most often it knocks the monster down.

Clamp triangle. A technique that works great against crowds of enemies. It is advisable to use it when you are finishing off someone.

Beowulf

3 times triangle. Two punches and two kicks. A powerful move that works great against a single opponent.

Jump and triangle. Airborne kick attack.

Uppercut and double kick. After the move, Virgil remains in the air, so you can perform the previous move.

Hold R1, forward and triangle. Vergil will jump up and do a series of punches. This is probably the most powerful technique. Works great against bosses and strong creatures.

Force Edge

4 times triangle. A series of five strikes, fast and powerful. The last blow is especially cruel.

Jump and triangle. Jumping attack, fast and strong. If the enemy is aggressive, I advise you to use it.

Hold R1, forward and triangle. A sharp throw towards the enemy and a blow.

Hold R1, back and triangle. A sharp throw and an uppercut. Press triangle a second time to perform an additional hit.

Clamp triangle. A sword flies at the enemy. Until you return the weapon, you can fight Yamato.

Firearms

Summoned Swords

Square. Magic swords will appear in the air and fly towards the enemy.

After performing the first move, hold R1, forward and square. A whirlwind of swords will appear around Virgil, killing anyone who is nearby.

After performing the first move, hold R1, back and square. A row of swords will line up near Virgil and strike the enemy.

Dante's Weapon

Hand to hand combat

Rebellion

The sword you start the game with. Despite the low damage, it works well when enemies are huddled together. Thanks to Dante's heroic scope, everyone will get the horns.

Regular combinations

3 times triangle. Dante will perform a simple punch combination.

2 times triangle, pause, triangle. It differs from the previous combination by two additional strikes. If you quickly press triangle while performing this technique, then Dante will hit for a very long time, after which he will lunge.

Jump and triangle. Air strike. Simple and effective to surprise the enemy.

A sharp throw towards the marked enemy and a blow. Great if you want to quickly get to the enemy.

A sharp throw towards the enemy and an uppercut with a sword. Apart from the external difference, it is no different from the previous blow.

Hold triangle. Dante will accumulate in the sword and send a wave of energy. Do not use it in a crowd, otherwise they will trample.

Jump and cross. In the air, press the cross a second time to jump again. What does this have to do with the sword, though, I absolutely don’t understand. However, if you pay 20,000, you can ride like a mountain goat.

With Swordmaster style

2 times circle. A twisting blow and a step forward.

Jump and circle 4 times. Dante jumps up and throws four punches in the air. Works great in conjunction with a move that throws you into the air. They sent it flying, caught up and chopped it up.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Dante will throw the sword at the enemy. If you press triangle while you don't have a weapon, he will kick the demon. To return the sword, press circle again.

Hold R1, back and circle. Dante quickly runs up to the enemy and strikes with his sword. Immediately after hitting, press circle successively to deal an obscene number of hits.

Cerberus

The first captured weapon you will receive. It hits slower than a sword, but removes more health.

Regular combinations

5 times triangle. A series of blows that ends with a powerful lunge.

2 times triangle, pause, 2 times triangle. The beginning is the same as the previous combination, but the ending is much more powerful. If you quickly press triangle while performing a move, Dante will begin to spin the flail, scattering enemies.

Jump and triangle. Air strike. By the way, this is the fastest air attack.

Hold R1, forward and triangle. A sharp throw and a strong blow. One of the best techniques for a flail - it allows you to suddenly jump up to the enemy and deal decent damage.

Hold R1, back and triangle. A sharp throw towards the enemy with an untwisted flail. Press triangle several times to move on.

With Swordmaster style

Circle. Dante spins the flail in front of him.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Dante slams his flail into the ground, sending a stream of ice towards the enemy. Press circle many times to intensify the move.

Hold R1, back and circle. Spins a flail above his head and creates an ice shield around himself.

Agni & Rudra

Great weapon. Fast, destructive and hits all monsters that are nearby. It will last perfectly until the end of the game.

Regular combinations

5 times triangle. Perhaps the most powerful combination. Seven blows that will leave the enemy no chance. The only drawback is the slow start.

Triangle, pause, 2 times triangle. A five-hit combo that ends with a two-blade slash.

Triangle, pause, triangle, pause, triangle. A variation of the previous combination, but stronger, faster, more furious. During the move, press Triangle to continue slashing with both blades.

Jump and triangle. Dante jumps and strikes.

Hold R1, forward and hold triangle. A sharp throw and four hits. The main thing is not to let go of the triangle, otherwise you will finish the technique earlier than expected.

Hold R1, back and triangle. First a blow, then an uppercut - and the enemy is sent flying.

Cross after the jump. Double jump in the air.

With Swordmaster style

Circle. Strike with two swords.

Jump, 3 times circle. Four air strikes, then land with swords spinning.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Dante plunges his swords into the ground and releases a column of fire.

Hold R1, back and circle. Dante raises his swords above his head and sends out a whirlwind of fire.

Nevan

Unusual weapon. To use it, you will need remarkable dexterity. As long as you understand how to perform combinations correctly, seven pots will do. But once you get the hang of it, you can do a lot of damage.

Regular combinations

Triangle. It's not even an attack. Dante will take out his guitar and strike a pose. It is from this position that most combinations begin. Make sure that no one is running around, otherwise you will get the worst of it.

Triangle. One hit on the strings, and a flock is heading towards the enemy bats.

Hold R1, left, triangle. And four flocks of bats fly towards the enemy. Until the mice fly away, you will receive a little protection from attacks. Also, while performing the technique, quickly press triangle and you will get a huge flock bats.

Jump, triangle. For this and the next combination it is not necessary to get into a pose. Dante jumps up and sends a flock of bats flying. Quickly press triangle to send out four swarms.

Hold R1, forward and triangle. The hero rushes forward sharply, knocking down opponents and painfully hitting them with his guitar. Also after this move, Dante remains standing in the pose.

Hold R1, back and hold triangle. Dante runs up to his opponent and gives an uppercut with his guitar. If you hold the triangle, flocks of bats will fly after the monster.

Hold R1 and jump. After turning into a demon, press the indicated combination. Dante will fly up and soar proudly. If you press the cross several times, your opponents will get hit in the head with lightning. If you press triangle, Dante will attack from the air.

With Swordmaster style

Circle. Dante hits his guitar and strikes a pose.

Jump and circle. Double attack in the air.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Dante spins his guitar, then punches his opponent and gets into a pose.

Hold R1, back and circle. A flock of bats flies towards the enemy. Dante strikes a pose.

Beowulf

The most powerful weapon, but also the slowest, which is compensated by interesting features. However, it is not suitable for every situation.

Regular combinations

3 times triangle. Punch, kick, uppercut. Simple and tasteful.

2 times triangle, pause, 2 times triangle. A series of kicks and punches. While performing the move, quickly press triangle to allow Dante to continue his series of strikes. After this, the enemy usually does not survive.

Jump and triangle. Dante dashingly jumps up and slams the monster with his boot.

Hold R1, forward and triangle. A sharp throw and a powerful blow.

Hold R1, back and triangle. A powerful uppercut, after which the opponent goes into a long flight.

Hold R1, back and triangle 2 times. The same blow as in the previous combination. Only Dante will follow the enemy into the air.

Jump and cross. Double jump.

With Swordmaster style

Circle. A shot of energy.

Jump and circle. Air strike.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Punching the ground, causing everything to explode to hell.

Hold R1, back and circle. A powerful uppercut with a sharp throw. While performing the move, press circle to make Dante perform a series of kicks.

Firearms

There are plenty of firearms in the game, but they are significantly inferior to cold weapons. Let's just say - this is a weapon of support and style. It’s beautiful to fight with him, but it will also cripple the enemy a little. Firearms can also be upgraded.

Ebony & Ivory

Perhaps the most useful weapon. Shoots quickly and far, deals good damage. And overall it looks great. If there’s anything to improve, it’s only this weapon.

With Gunslinger style

While standing on the ground, quickly press circle. Dante opens fire with pistols on two opponents at once. The first pistol fires at the enemy it is aimed at. The second one needs to be aimed with the left joystick. Considering that you cannot move while performing the technique, the benefit of it is very doubtful.

When the enemy is on the ground, run up close and press square. Dante will jump on his head, release the clip and finish with a kick. You can also do this: when the enemy falls, jump on it, press forward and press square. Dante will dashingly ride on his body while simultaneously shooting at the monsters. Looks damn tempting.

Jump and circle. Dante will jump up and shoot at all the enemies below. While performing a move, press circle to continue shooting.

Hold Square. Dante will accumulate energy and fire a powerful shot.

Quickly press square. Powerful and rapid-fire shots.

Shotgun

The shotgun is useful at close ranges. But why shoot at close range when you can slash with a sword and get a much better result? The usefulness of this weapon is questionable.

With Gunslinger style

Quickly press circle. Dante will dash forward, back and to the sides. Perfect if you are surrounded by weak demons - you will kill most of the monsters. The same technique can be repeated in the air.

Square. A quick shotgun blast.

Hold Square. Dante will accumulate energy and fire a powerful shot.

Dante will dash towards the enemy and shoot him in the chest. While performing the move, quickly press circle to fire the shotgun repeatedly.

Artemis

Some kind of futuristic laser. An interesting feature: if you save energy, you can shoot at three targets. Use it if the enemy is far away and you are lazy to run towards him. Not suitable at medium distances - it takes a long time to recharge.

With Gunslinger style

Circle. Dante can fire a bolt of energy at one enemy. Works well against bosses and strong demons.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Dante will fire at nearby enemies. If you press circle while performing a technique, the attack area will increase.

Spiral

A sniper rifle that cannot be fired in the air. If the enemy is far away, then yes - you can cover up the bullet, especially since the charge power allows it.

With Gunslinger style

Click circle. Dante will shoot the ceiling, causing damage to enemies.

Hold R1, forward and circle. Dante takes careful aim and shoots the monster in the vulnerable spot and will cause a lot of damage. If you press circle while performing a technique, the bullet will ricochet off the floor and walls and, upon impact, will cause additional damage.

Kalina Ann

Grenade launcher. It shoots close, takes a long time to aim, but covers a large area and deals a lot of damage. Should be used against a crowd of weak opponents - they will die out at once. True, that’s the only thing it’s good for.

With Gunslinger style

Circle. A bunch of missiles fly towards enemies, but cause little damage. There is practically no benefit.

Hold R1, forward and circle. An attack that knocks the enemy down.

Walkthrough

A Crazy Party

As soon as Dante wanted to eat hot pizza, a horde of demons came and ruined everything. They ruined our dinner - we will ruin their lives!

The first mission is the easiest. Chop monsters that jump out of portals and break furniture to collect red balls. When the last monster crumbles to dust, the mission will end.

The Blood Link

You can go through the first mission again to accumulate red balls and buy a Stinger attack. Overall, an unremarkable level. There are a lot of monsters that are just asking to be tested with a couple of interesting combinations. The only thing to be wary of is kamikazes. Having noticed him, run away and fire at him with a pistol.

Don't forget to pick up the first aid kit that lies near the door. You will need it soon, because you will finally have to fight the first boss. This is a fairly simple enemy, but loves to use spatial portals. Instant movement from one point to another is dangerous because you can miss a stab in the back.

His favorite attacks after moving are a sharp lunge and a scythe strike, or two strikes at the same time. Therefore, when he disappears, immediately jump to the side and open fire with your pistols. Then run up and slash with your sword.

Sometimes you can be in time and interrupt the attack with a counterattack, but it’s better not to risk it. When the boss puts a block, immediately run around him from the side and throw a series of blows. If things are really bad, use the first aid kit you found. Although this can be avoided...

The Devil Tower

Immediately after the start of the level, run forward and jump towards Enigma. These monsters have an amazing ability to spoil things at the most inopportune moment, so you will have to deal with them first. A couple of blows should be enough to knock them down.

Then jump down and start attacking the rest of the monsters. Go to the bar. There are no opponents here, so you can take a break. Then break the furniture and jump onto the bar to replenish your health.

To open the door, break the three jukeboxes on the left and attack the stone circle. When it lights up in flames, the force field will subside. Take the shotgun from the wall and move on. In the next room you will meet new opponents. They take a hit well, hit hard, but move too slowly, so you can deal with them without losing health.

Break the furniture, go up the stairs for the plus and go outside. There are no enemies here, but a lot of interesting things are hidden. First, collect the balls that are scattered on the upper tiers. You can get there with a double jump. Don't forget the blue ball!

Break the decrepit wall near the lanterns to get to a crystal with a couple thousand red balls. Also look for a statue on the building nearby. If you can do a Blast combo, you will get a blue ball.

Cerberus is the first serious boss, and you need to approach him with extreme caution. The first thing to remember is that in order to damage him, you will first have to knock down the ice shell. It is best to do this with pistols; meddling with a sword is too dangerous. Secondly, Cerberus has three heads, and each attacks in its own way.

Only the middle head can attack, and it is better to learn the attacks of each in order to evade attacks in a timely manner. A head with yellow eyes throws down healthy blocks of ice from above. The head with blue eyes spits out ice balls. The head with red eyes has icy breath. If you get into its area of effect, you will take damage and freeze for a while.

Also, Cerberus sometimes hits with his paw, jumps again, hits with his paws and exhales ice. Most attacks can be dodged with a double jump if you carefully study his habits. In addition, a double jump from a wall works well.

By removing the ice, you can attack the heads while the dog is resting after the attacks. However, in this case you need to stand quite close, and you may not have time to jump back. The second tactic is much safer: hit the legs when Cerberus goes down, practice a powerful combination of blows and quickly flee.

After defeating Cerberus, you will receive a new weapon - the Ice Flail. The level is over, and Dante ends up in the tower.

The Uninvited One

To get out, you will have to work a little as a heart surgeon.

There are no enemies here, so just go up to the third floor and go through the blue door that was shown in the video. The nth number of monsters are waiting in the corridor on which you can try out new weapons. Then go through the only door.

Already more serious. Take on Enigma first, then switch to the other enemies. Do you see the stone behind the bars? You can't pick it up yet, so immediately leave the hall. To raise the platform, destroy the statues standing on it, and then light a fire on the stone.

The opponents in the new room are much more interesting. However, thanks to the confined space it is easier to throw intimidating combinations of blows. Jump into the secret niche, pick up the blue ball and exit through the door.

You will again find yourself in the center of the tower, only one floor higher. Go upstairs and go through the yellow door. The exits are sealed, so all you have to do is take the stairs. It won't support the weight, and Dante will fall down.

A bunch of monsters are waiting below. Finish off everyone, go upstairs and go through the opened door. You have a battle with the next boss. Despite its impressive appearance, an overgrown worm is killed quite easily - you just have to torture it for a long time.

His only attack is electric balls that fly from his belly. They are easy to avoid: just run for cover or jump onto the second tier. How to beat? You stand at the top and wait. When the worm flies past, jump on its back and throw a series of blows. Climb up again and wait. Repeat until the bitter end. Then collect the red balls and exit through the door on the lower tier. Pick up the amulet and watch another crazy video.

Of Devils And Swords

New level - new enemies. "Birds" are not a fearsome opponent. Just don’t hit with a sword, otherwise they will create new ones. First, shoot with pistols, and when the opponents turn to stone, break them with your sword.

Now - a joke. By the way, this boss is only in the Special Edition. So you can say you're in luck. First, the jester will begin to mock him, and at this moment he cannot be reached with a sword, so fire at him with pistols. Soon he will get tired and start fanning himself with a cane. Run quickly and deliver a series of blows.

When the jester surrounds himself with a field and opens portals, it’s time to urgently make his moves. Avoid the balls with continuous maneuvers. In general, you can try to run up close and just hit the boss. The balls don't hit too often, especially if you bounce in time. It's faster and more dangerous.

When the portals disappear, fire at the boss again with pistols, run up close and attack with your sword. After defeating the jester, return to the center of the tower. Climb to the very top and insert the found amulet into the pedestal.

On the fourth floor, the walls have moved back, and now you can pick up the trident. Plus, a red circle lit up below; if you stand on it, Dante will be thrown high. This is a kind of elevator that allows you to avoid long runs.

Remember the stone behind the bars? You need to go back to that room. Insert the trident into the mechanism opposite the cage, pick up the stone and finish off the monsters that come running. Now remember the room where the stairs collapsed. Step into the abyss. The soul stone will not allow you to fall down. On the other side, find a statue from which you can knock out a blue ball. Then insert the stone into the hole and go through the door.

A fun ride awaits you now. Activate the lift by doing a series of hits on the rock, jump on and get ready. Soon opponents will begin to pour in from above. Killing them is easy, the difficulty is different: do not miss the enemy blow, so as not to fly down, otherwise you will have to start over.

Once on the site, find the statue and buy the necessary items. Now lies perhaps the most difficult battle in the game. The gate is guarded by two brothers. And with one it’s difficult, but with two it’s a pipe. I advise you to upgrade pistols to the second level and choose the Trickster style (also preferably the second level).

How do they attack? Jump and attack. Just jump back or run to the side. Run and hit. The bosses rush towards Dante and try to seriously injure him. The only thing that will save you here is a double jump. Those who are especially arrogant can try to attack in the air. Please note that the monsters perform the first two attacks together, and they are the most dangerous. An uppercut is a sharp blow from below. Stay away. Well, attacks with ice and fire...

In general, listen to what they yell before attacking, and you will soon understand what expression will follow the blow. There can be two tactics: either constantly fire with pistols, jump and dodge blows, or learn habits and shouts in order to know when the enemy will attack, and at the right moments throw a series of blows. If you successfully hit the adversaries, you can knock the sword out of their hands. At such a moment, the enemy will kneel. Run up and use a devastating combo.

This trick is also possible with pistols. It just seemed to me that it would be more difficult to accomplish. Although some argue that, on the contrary, it is easier. In general, I advise you to switch from one brother to another. Because when you finish off one, the second one will go completely berserk.

Attacks, in principle, will remain the same, but the speed will increase. Jumping with an attack, running and hitting, a stream of fire, a whirlwind of flame and ice. Don't even try to reach the enemy with your sword. Constantly fire at him with pistols and jump like crazy.

If you were able to almost completely reset the health of the second one before finishing off the first brother, then the battle will end with a couple of accurate shots. Otherwise, I do not guarantee that victory will be yours.

Family Ties

We actually need to go into the left passage. But it is blocked, so search the statue and go straight. Do you see three rooms? You need to pass at least two tests to get two special crystals. But if you get three, you'll get a new weapon.

Test of Wisdom. If you read the sign before the entrance, guessing the riddle will not be difficult. You need to go through the right doors to get to the crystal. If you make a mistake, a bunch of monsters will appear, and after winning you will return to the entrance. Here are the correct answers: First go through the door with four lights, then with two and finally with three.

Equipment testing. You need to run through a long, long corridor, dodging the spikes that jump out of the floor, walls and ceiling. In principle, nothing difficult if you play on a joystick. The main thing is attentiveness. When you take the crystal, monsters will come running; deal with them and leave the room.

Combat Test. It's simple. When the stones are not burning, enemies are invulnerable. Therefore, you need to quickly light them (stones, of course) and deal with the enemy. When the stones go out, repeat the procedure.

Now go to the room where the passage is blocked and insert three crystals into the statue. Congratulations on purchasing your new weapon. Yes, the road is also clear. In the corridor, break the statue with your brother swords, collect the red balls and go downstairs to complete the mission.

A Chance Meeting

Immediately return to the previous corridor and collect the red balls. Just like that, for nothing. Go back. Look down. Decent height, right? Jump. Once you land, go into the library and start destroying the statues. Under one you will find a crystal. Take it and leave the library.

Stand on the glowing circle and Dante will throw you high. Land on the platform and jump onto the other circle. This way you will rise to the very top. Come in the door. In the corridor, pick up the blue ball that someone thought of throwing upstairs, and move on.

Run upstairs, scattering the animated statues along the way. The door is directly closed, so turn left, not forgetting to pick up the bonus behind bars. Here you will meet a new enemy. Beat them when the monsters stick the coffins into the ground and start summoning spirits.

Having dealt with the enemy, pick up the stone and go through the central door. Break the statue to get a blue ball, go upstairs and insert the crystal found in the library into the remote control. The elevator doors will open below. Go inside... and go down to the tower entrance. Remember the door on the second floor that was engulfed in flames? Go up there and use the stone from the tomb. The fire will disappear. Go down the corridor and go through the door.

Some strange place... However, a couple of blows and the wall will collapse. Then light the fires on the stone to release a huge ball. Give it a couple of hits and it will shatter into pieces. Pick up the skull and a bunch of monsters with coffins will immediately fall out. Hit. If things get difficult, use the holy water ball to destroy the demons. Then leave here, take the elevator and go to closed door. Insert the skull and go inside.

The statue hints that there will now be a showdown with the boss. Get ready.

Brother Dante is a simple opponent. His attacks are as follows: running fast and attacking with a sword; a series of sword strikes; wave of energy. How to beat him? You wait for him to attack, jump to the side, and then run up and deliver a couple of blows. When you have reduced his health by a decent amount, he will begin to move around using teleport.

You need to carefully monitor such feints so as not to get hit from behind. But in general the tactics are exactly the same. When you remove all your health, watch a crazy video. Special attention pay attention to the descent from the tower.

A Renewed Fear

To be honest, I don’t remember anywhere else at such an original level. You will have to fight organs and monsters in the demon's stomach to get out. However...

By the way, look around. And when did you just swallow it?

To get out of this room (let it be called that), you need to destroy five pulsating appendages, then the passages will open. One is near the bus, two are on the top tier, one is below in the cave, the last one is also on the second tier. But you can only get to it through the mentioned cave.

After destroying the shoots, go into the cave. After going through the intestines and getting to the heart, examine the future boss and exit through the membrane (you know, it seems to me that the scriptwriters ate too much sushi).

After walking a little forward, you will suddenly fall under an evil monster. There is no point in fighting him, just run away as quickly as possible, otherwise he will eat his insides. Once you reach the end, cut the membrane to get into the shelter. Next you will meet a squad of demons who are taken out at the count of times.

In the retina, slash the demons until you get the item. It's simple. The next intestine has two "sleeves" that hide a green ball and a statue. To break it you will need a flail. Next, you will again fall under the distribution of the internal organ. Run away from him gracefully. Once in the stomach, climb back into the hole that leads to the heart.

So, in addition to the heart itself, a bunch of demons will keep you company. They also need to be hit on the head with a sword whenever possible. But the heart is more important, especially since it is not alone. Two additional ones do not attack, but one absorbs prizes knocked out of opponents, and the other weakens Devil Trigger.

The central heart cannot be easily reached; it is constantly hidden in the shell. You need to beat like this: first beat one of the additional hearts; when it dies, the main one will stick out and try to get Dante. Either it will shoot balls - in this case, jump back or put it in the way of the demon, or it will turn on the laser - just jump over. By the way, the last attack can be different - one beam or two.

After surviving the attack of the heart (by the way, the enemy should become much smaller), run up to the central heart and hit until it hides. Then start working again on the additional hearts that have already come to life. And so on in the same spirit until a heart attack occurs.

Faded Memories

To go further, you need to turn the bridge, but this will not be done until the next chapter. Therefore, without hesitation, run forward and go through the door. In the room you will encounter calf-sized spiders. Beware of cobwebs. In general, you can finish them off with pistols so as not to get into the sticky embrace of monsters.

In this room you have to solve a riddle: you need to direct a beam of light at the statue to open the door. To do this, break the unnecessary crystals. If you make a mistake, light the fires on the stone to restore the crystals. Too lazy to think? See the picture. When you're done, go through the door.

Here, five “riddles” await you, and they are arranged in such a way that it takes a long time to run. Therefore, on the move, fire at the reptiles with pistols to prevent the monsters from attacking, and when you come close, finish them off with your sword.

In the next corridor you will have to fight with extreme caution. Rotating blades stick out from the walls, which are great for removing health. It will be especially unpleasant if you start to be thrown from one blade to another. Therefore, be careful.

Underground lake. In the tower? OK. First, run left and jump onto the second tier to collect the red balls. Then break the statue and jump onto the ruins. At the very top you will find a sniper rifle.

In the next room, take the "ambrosia" and get ready for the invasion of spiders with demons. Having dealt with them, return to underground lake and go into the passage under the waterfall. First, jump down and collect the balls, then come back and go right. Finish off the monsters and insert the ambrosia into the statue to unlock the door. The next boss is waiting for you behind it.

Siren is a dangerous opponent. Therefore, before you fight, you need to study her habits. Let's start with the attacks. Each attack begins with a specific phrase that sounds something like this:

How's This? And a flock of bats flies towards Dante. Jump to the side or just run away.

Now You Will Become Tired! And lightning strikes from below. Therefore, when you hear the phrase, immediately jump to the side and, preferably, do not stop.

Laughter. And something similar to blades will fly towards Dante. Again, a jump to the side.

Don't Feel Lightning? This will be followed by a huge ball of bats. Run away from him.

Get Ready! A whirlwind of black blades appears around the siren. Just don't approach her at such a moment, otherwise you will lose half your health.

Are You Enjoying Yourself? The siren will start using this attack when you remove half of its life. Streams of electricity will begin to gather around the demon, after which she shoots waves of energy. It is difficult to evade this attack, there are too many charges flying, but it is possible. Run around the vertical ones, jump over the horizontal ones.

You Can't Escape! First, the siren shoots out all the bats. Then he runs up and begins to suck out health, pumping it to himself. How unpleasant it is.

She also moves around the room between attacks. How to deal with a siren? Simple enough. Most attacks can be dodged by jumping. At this time, fire at her with a pistol or hit her with a sword when the moment is right. This gradually removes her protection.

After destroying all the bats that were guarding it, run up and start slashing with your sword. Just watch - when the demon is almost completely immersed in the floor, immediately jump away further so as not to lose health.

When you remove 2/3 of her health, the siren will completely go wild and start attacking much faster. But that's okay - just jump faster. The most dangerous is the last attack, which transfers health from Dante to the demon. When you see that the siren has rushed towards Dante, immediately run as hard as you can, so that your heels sparkle. Otherwise it will be bad.

After defeating the siren, you will receive a stone mask and a new weapon - an electric guitar. Hard rock will defeat demons and save the world...

The Job

After such a battle, it’s not a sin to stand and rest. Take the mask and run to the underground lake. Insert the mask to raise the bridge, take the neo-generator lying near the statue, and leave here.

In the corridor you will come across new monsters - Dullahans. They are not so much dangerous as they are boring. They die quickly, but you have to try hard to hit them. Further, the road will be calm, only in the cave the spiders and their leader will attack again.

When you reach the bridge, Dante will place the neo-generator and start the mechanism. Don't rush to run further, first go outside and collect the balls. Chapter completed.

Revenge

Jump down onto the gears, deal with the demons and pick up the plus. Then get out of here. In the corridor you will meet a new enemy - nasty monsters, especially if you fight them hand-to-hand. They can attach themselves and drain your health. I advise you to destroy them with pistols. And don't forget to pick up the blue ball.

Then go to the other side, break the wall with the crack and drive the second block into the other hole. A passage will open below and a bunch of demons will come running. Finish off the monsters and get out of here.

Break the statue (requires brother swords), knock down the second statue to get to the holy water, and get into the cart. On the trip you need to fight off the demons who decided to Once again ruin your life. It is impossible to fall down, so dealing with them is not a big problem. Don't forget to shoot "riddles" from pistols.

Having reached the final station, purchase the necessary items from the statue and go through the door. You are about to fight a boss.

Let's start with the boss's attacks. Triple strike: several strong blows from the right and left. Kick: Beowulf will try to step on you to turn you into a cake. Strike at Random: When you blind a demon (more on that later), he will strike at random. Energy Shot: A blast around yourself or a targeted shot. Crypt attack: the boss kicks and pillars fly from above or places a pillar in front of him and sends it towards Dante with a punch. Acceleration strike: the boss gets on all fours, accelerates and tries to slam the hero into the wall or simply kicks.

The demon's weak point is his eyes. Wait until he finishes attacking, jump up and slash at the eye. He will go blind for a while. Immediately run up close, deliver a series of blows and flee before he moves away.

When you remove most of his health, the demon will begin to attack more actively, try to trample, shoot energy and throw coffins. Carefully study the habits and, catching a break between attacks, cut off the eye again.

Hunter and Hunted

Dante received another neo-generator, which turned him into a demon and constantly takes away his health. What a gift. You need to get rid of it quickly before your health runs out.

Run to the cart and roll to the other side. During the trip, opponents will annoy you; they will bring you not only experience, but also balls that replenish your health. Therefore, try to deal with them quickly.

Brother Dante is defeated - but not destroyed. He will make himself known in the future.

Next, follow the old paths to the bridge. Along the way you will have to fight demons, but this will only be for your benefit - at least restore your health, which is taken away by the neo-generator. Once on the bridge, Dante will get rid of the crystal and take on his normal appearance.

Once you enter the corridor, stand on the glowing circle to be transported to the arena to fight the jester. There are not many differences from the first battle, so read what you had to do in the Of Devils and Swords mission.

When you remove 75% of his health, the jester will show a couple of new techniques. He will summon a ball with a face and jump on it and launch energy blasts from there. Sometimes the ball explodes if you slash it with a sword. Dodge the shots as before - by jumping and somersaulting to the side.

Then go through the door and go to the long bridge. A mad horse and carriage awaits you there. This is such an unusual level boss. The battle will take place in two stages: the first on the bridge, the second in the arena. On the bridge, the horse attacks in the following ways: it jumps out of the gate and rushes forward, trying to trample Dante, or it stops and fires three rockets. The last attack is easy to dodge by jumping. Save yourself from the first one with a double jump. At the same time, try to shoot at the horse with pistols or slash with a sword.

After several attempts to trample Dante, the horse will stop to catch its breath. Jump up to her and slash her several times with your sword - she should fall to the ground. Don't waste time and throw a combination of punches.

After you remove a certain amount of health from the horse, the bridge will collapse and the battle will move to the arena. Here the enemy's attacks will become more varied. The horse will begin to prance in a circle, launching rockets, and will also try to hit you with the carriage.

The horse will also stop time in a certain radius around itself. If you get into this radius, you will get hit in the head with a carriage and will not be able to do anything. She will also shoot blue energy bolts and launch balls that stop time. You need to escape from this with a double jump. And of course, she will still try to trample you to death, jumping out of the gate.

How to attack her? While the horse is going berserk, dodge attacks while simultaneously shooting with pistols or other firearms (although you won’t take much life off it this way). Having caught a good moment, you run up to the demon and strike with your swords. Usually, after a good hit, the horse falls to the ground, thereby allowing an excellent combination to be struck. But soon the monster will jump up, freeze time and, quite possibly, give Dante a good beating. It depends on your luck.

After finishing the horse, you will receive a new style, which allows you to stop time.

Chaos" Warm Welcome

In the corridor you will meet new demons. Having dealt with them, go out through the door and go up the stairs. Go to the right of the door to pick up the plus, then go back and go to the other end. There, deal with the opponents and go through the first door.

In this room you need to shine a beam of light to get the crystal. First, break the wall with a crack, and destroy the second crystal in the corridor. Return to the room and destroy the crystals to make it look like the picture. Pick up the crystal and leave the room.

Destroy the demons that popped up out of nowhere while you were struggling with the riddle, and go to the second door. You can break the statue if you brought Nevan on the mission. Insert the found crystal and enter the arena. Now you have a second battle with Virgil.

Brother with last meeting became much stronger, but his habits remained the same. The same feints, sudden jumps, sudden movements, teleports and energy shots. Therefore, you can fight the same way as in the A Chance Meeting mission.

There are only two differences. Now he usually uses Beowulf gloves instead of a sword, which is much more painful. He also turns into a demon, just like Dante. In this state, it is better to stay away from him. Wall running and double jumps are good.

Vergil blocks most of your attacks and ignores firearms. Therefore, it is worth attacking only when he finishes his own attack. The problems will begin when you remove almost all of his health - he will turn into a demon much more often.

Drive!

After the battle, jump over the broken brick wall, go to the end and jump up. Collect 1500 red balls. Now go to the abyss where Virgil fell and pick up the Beowulf gloves. Use them to break the statue that blocks the exit, take the blue ball and move on.

Break the crystal to collect red balls and go into the elevator. Go further until you reach a hall with an altar. Kill the demons, get out of here and get on the cart. While you are rolling, you will again have to deal with monsters.

Go straight and enter the green room. Deal with the monsters, return to the room you came from and go to the pink room. There you will meet new demons, which are very convenient to destroy from Beowulf.

Go to the dead end room, pick up the plus and go to the orange room. From there, go to the exit, not forgetting to grab the blue ball. Take the green ball on the statue and go through the door. Destroy the monsters and move on.

Collect balls from the bar, destroy the furniture and go outside. Take the red orbs and holy water from the last building on the left and run towards the tower. There, Dante will find a motorcycle and climb to the top, and in a very extravagant way.

The Gatecrasher

The beginning of the level is annoyingly difficult. For the first time you will encounter an enemy who is more difficult to defeat than some bosses. For details, see the chapter “Monsters”. In the next room you will have to fight oversized spiders.

From here you will enter the hall with a lift. To launch it, you will need three fragments of the pattern. They are scattered at different ends of the tower, and to get there, you will have to activate the turning mechanism.

Go through the only accessible door, collect the red balls (including from the demon's eyes) and light the lights on the stone. Go back and go into the room with the spiders. There the gate rose and opened the stone.

Hit him until the lights come on. The tower will turn. Exit through the door with the emblem on the door. The wheels rotate and will chop you into cabbage if you stumble. Run along them until you reach the next door. Along the way, remember where the stone that rotates the tower is.

Jump over the blades, deal with the enemies, grab the piece of the ornament and return to the room with the gears. Finish off the demons and light the fires on the stone to turn the tower. Now exit through the door with the emblem.

Jump over the blades, deal with the enemy and go to the next room. Finish off the spiders, pick up the second fragment, return to the previous room and light the lights on the stone to rotate the tower. Exit through the door with the emblem.

Collect the balls and go through the blue door. Here you will have to jump over the blades with extreme caution. Calculate your movements carefully. Then pick up the third fragment, deal with the monsters and return to the previous room.

Light the stone to turn the door and go through the door with the emblem. Go straight until you reach the bridge leading to the arena where you fought the horse. Go down, finish off the demons, pick up the blue ball and go up using the platform. Although you can go further and you will return to the city streets.

Rotate the tower again, go out the door with the emblem and place three ornament fragments on the elevator. Then go downstairs. Level completed.

Win or Lose

Surprisingly easy level. To open the door, you need to find two symbols. First we go to the top door. Just before moving, I advise you to stop near the statue and choose a time-stopping technique.

Destroy the demons in the room and exit through the upper door. Light a fire on the stone and a ball of skulls will fall on top. It needs to be destroyed in about 15 seconds. This is quite problematic to do, because after the first hit he will start spinning around the room.

It’s better to do this: run up, stop time, hit it several times and jump onto the ball. Time will speed up again, and you break the ball with several powerful blows. And no running around the room.

Take the symbol and get ready to meet a new enemy. It's dangerous if you get hit by a laser beam, but it's nothing serious. Only there will be a lot of them... Then get out of here. Now you can go to the bottom door to get the second symbol.

Deal with the monsters, go up the stairs and go through the door. The doors in the room will close and a bunch of demons will jump in. Destroy them, take the pluses and exit on the stairs. Go down and go through the opening.

Light a fire on two stones. Two balls will descend from above. You need to push them so that they bump and fall apart. This problem is much simpler than the previous one: first you hit one ball on one side, then another on the other side. They fly to the center, meet and fly into pieces.

Pick up the symbol, finish off the demons and return to the room with closed gates. Finish off the birds, climb up and jump out into the hole. Continue forward until you reach the library. An unusual boss awaits there.

This is a simple opponent. Seize the moment - there will be no more such indulgences. The girl attacks exclusively with her monstrous grenade launcher. Before she shoots, she takes aim for a long time and says something. If you have time, run up close and perform a series of blows. If not, then jump to the side.

She also constantly climbs somewhere on a hook and fires from machine guns. This can be easily avoided by constantly moving and swerving from side to side. When you take most of her health off, she will jump onto stands and throw grenades.

How to fight? Very simple. You run away from the attacks, and when she goes down to the ground, you run up and throw a series of blows. You just need to watch carefully so as not to get hit by a rocket. True, it is difficult to catch her, because the girl constantly runs away. But once you get the hang of it, there won't be any problems. That's all.

Inner-Demons

Pick up the plus in the corridor, break the wall to get into the room and start the battle. You have already been in this chamber when you passed the warrior test. Let me remind you of the rules: you need to light a fire on the stones and, while it burns, kill the demons. True, the opponents have become tougher, so if it doesn’t work out, you can skip the room. It is not required. If you complete the task, pick up the prize and go out into the corridor. Then go through the blue door.

Attacking in the air has a number of advantages. The character is difficult to hit.

Break the statue and crystal to get a blue and red ball. Now you need to go upstairs. To do this you will have to jump on the cubes. The order is as follows: first, jump onto the cube in the middle of the room; when another one comes down from above, jump on it.

Wait for another cube to come down and climb onto it. Then to the landing, from there to the door. Go inside, destroy the enemies, collect items - including a blue ball - and return. Jump back onto the platform. From there to a cube that spins in a circle, from there to four cubes that move near the wall and constantly change their shape.

Climb up and jump to the door. There is a choice here: go straight upstairs or go through the door first to fight the jester one last time. He hasn't changed his ways, so you know what to do. The only difference: he will summon a demonic ball when half of his life remains.

Destroy the demons in the room and move on. Remember the corridor with a bunch of spikes where you took the skill test? So, now it will be many times worse. You need to move faster and more carefully. This will be followed by traveling through the halls, collecting objects and fighting demons (including new specimens).

Soon you will reach the boss of the level. If you know his weak point, dealing with him is not much more difficult than dealing with a lady. Since he is a shadow, it means he is afraid of the light. In a normal state, you can’t break through at all, so you need to open the “eyes” on the wall with blows. The light will fall on the shadow, and it will crouch. You can hit. This will take a few seconds. When all the "eyes" are open, you will have five seconds to perform a combination of strikes. The shadow's attacks are as follows: a dark energy shot that extinguishes the open "eye"; the shadow lowers its hand and dark energy hits Dante from the floor; two options for striking with swords and a sharp throw.

How to fight? You stand and wait for the shadow to rush towards Dante. You open the “eye” with a blow, hit the shadow and run away to avoid a retaliatory attack. Then stand at the other “eye” and wait.

By opening all the "eyes", you will be able to hit longer and do more damage. But soon the shadow will cover the light sources, and you will have to start over. In general, the main difficulty is to understand at what moment you need to open your “eye” so as not to get hit and catch the enemy. But once you get the hang of it, you can deal with the demon in a few minutes. The reward is a new style.

Invading Hell

After running a little through Hell, you will find yourself on a chessboard. We'll have to play a hell of a game. The main tactic is this: finish off the king quickly, then the rest of the pieces will die. Therefore, all attention is on the king. Only deal with the rest of the demons if they get in the way too much.

After getting out of the chessboard, finish off the demons and jump into the portal. Do you see the green balls? Don't take them. They will be needed later. Better find a board with stones. The color of each crystal corresponds to a specific boss.

They can be found if you go into the stone tablet with the figure. You need to light the crystals in such an order that they form the following picture: three crystals are connected, a semicircle is formed, a full circle is formed. That is, no one forces you to kill everyone, three are enough. For example, Cerberus, Agni and Rudra, Beowulf. But if you kill everyone, you get a blue ball. True, the reward is not worth the effort.

In general, decide for yourself. Here is a list of colors and bosses that correspond to them.

  • White-Beowulf
  • Black-Doppelganger
  • Violet-Nevan
  • Green-Agni and Rudra
  • Blue-Geryon
  • Blue-Cerberus
  • Yellow-Gigapede
  • Orange-a bunch of lesser demons
  • Red-Heart of Leviathan

Having opened the portal, pick up the green balls and jump towards your destiny.

Forces Collide

I advise you to choose the Swordmaster style, because at the end of the level there will be a boss battle that requires brute force rather than cunning. In the first room, destroy the enemies and jump into the portal.

Here you need to hit the enemy in an unusual way. Don't try to destroy the demons, it's better to break the green mirror that moves between the walls. When you do it, a portal will open.

In this area you need to destroy the enemies before the clock runs out of sand, otherwise you will have to start over. It's not difficult, demons aren't particularly strong. Then run up to the clock, pick up the item and jump into the portal. Then again into the portal, another one - and finally, insert the found object into the statue.

All that remains is to jump into the portal to start the boss battle. It's not too difficult. Consider this a respite before the final battle. Hell of a fight.

The formless pile of slime attacks in the following ways: strike with tentacles; top and side; blow and shot; hide underground and attack with a bunch of toothy fish; and finally, ramming with a carcass.

Run up and perform terrible combinations of blows. You dodge oncoming attacks by jumping. When the monster disintegrates into fish, shoot them with pistols and chop them with a sword. Having destroyed the small creatures, take on the monster again.

After removing half your life, you will receive Virgil as support, who repeats Dante's movements. You attack - he attacks. You jump - he jumps. What to do now? Similar. It will only be twice as easy.

Screaming Souls

The last fight with my brother and generally the last in the game. Don't think it will be easy! It will be hard. Buy healing products, purple balls and, if possible, a couple of bottles of holy water. If you don't have enough cash, it's better to go through several levels to accumulate red balls.

Virgil's attacks: two hits, an uppercut, an attack from above, a sharp jerk and a blow; attack from above; two strikes with two swords; a sharp jerk and overturning blow; energy shots; turning into a demon.

The main problem is not the attacks, but the speed at which he performs them and the damage done. Many of his tricks remain the same, but it will be more difficult to cope with. However, this must be used. He is, as before, vulnerable after attacks. Therefore, you dodge the blows, then attack, having first turned into a demon in order to take off more.

After turning into a demon, he will begin to cause massive damage. But he will have to be attacked, because he gradually restores his life and - most importantly - after a couple of blows from Dante he immediately turns into a human. The Beowulf gloves and air attack usually work well.

Also, in the guise of a demon, he can summon a huge black ball and start firing. Or turn into pure energy and chase after Dante. At such moments you need to turn into a demon yourself and quickly run away.

But after such an attack, Virgil becomes vulnerable for several seconds, which should be taken advantage of. But the main tactic is this: counterattack after the attack and transformation from a demon to a human. Also try to stun him with some kind of technique in order to carry out a full-fledged combination of blows. And don’t forget to use holy water if things get really bad - you’ll be at least a little closer to victory.

The game is over, but it’s too early to relax. While the credits are rolling, kill 100 enemies and you will see a video about Virgil's adventures in hell. What else can you do to have fun? Complete the game a second time as brother Dante, try out new styles and different combinations. In the end, you can do secret missions, of course, if you so desire.

After the end of the game, the following became available: a new playable character - Vergil, new costumes for Dante, a menu with all the videos, additional difficulty levels, a gallery with drawings and videos about the creation of the game.

Secret missions

Secret missions are optional tasks that reward you with a blue orb fragment. Finding them is not easy, and doing them is doubly difficult. Let's talk about how to do this.

The Exorcist

Where is: Second mission, 13th Avenue (door near the rubble).

What to do: Destroy demons in one minute.

In the allotted time, you need to finish off about a dozen lesser demons. The enemy is weak and dies quickly. Don't try to do something incredible, use regular combinations. If you have time, then break the furniture to get red balls.

Untouchable

Where is: Fifth mission, Surge of Fortunas (before riding the lift, examine the red object near the wall).

What to do: Destroy demons without taking damage.

There are four Enigmas in total. But to defeat them, you need to move quickly. Very fast. Therefore, I advise you to choose the Trickster style.

Death from Above

Where is: Seventh mission, The Dark Corridor (immediately after the start of the mission, jump into the small recess).

What to do: Stay in the air for 20 seconds.

It's a tricky task, but it can be solved. The key to success is to jump on your opponents' heads. Unreal? Very real. Jump up and do a double jump. You shoot all the way from your pistols to slowly go down. Then you land on your head and jump up again. True, it is almost impossible to do this on the keyboard.

Devil's Teeter-totter

Where is: Eighth mission, Leviathan's Stomach (in the cave near the pirate ship, break the boards).

What to do: Take the lift to the top.

The problem is that demons constantly jump from above and try to push you over. The platform can also collapse if too many enemies accumulate on it. What to do? Knock back monsters with a knockback attack. Or you can wait until you receive a grenade launcher and shoot at the enemy. The demons will instantly scatter in different directions.

Destroyer

Where is: Mission nine, Limestone Cavern (you need to jump up).

What to do: Destroy all objects within the allotted time.

50 items in 40 seconds? No problem. Choose a fast weapon, remember what goes where. Then break it until it works. Should be available soon.

Flight of the Demon

Where is: Tenth mission, Subterranean Lake (when you insert the stone mask and get the neo-generator, go to the right of the statue).

What to do: Collect all the balls before the time runs out.

40 balls still need to be found. Therefore, first carefully look for hiding places. Then turn into a demon and quickly collect. It might work in the normal state, but it didn’t work out for me.

Hang 10

Where is: Eleventh mission, Gears of Madness (go down and go to the door, find a small platform and jump up).

What to do: Reach the blue ball fragment within the allotted time.

Make sure to get 7-8 balls in the Devil Trigger line. When the mission starts, turn into a demon and run forward. Don't pay attention to your opponents, don't care about them. Jump on your heads. When you run out of energy, use the balls to restore it.

Tough Guys

Where is: Thirteenth mission, Spiral Staircase (note the red light instead of white - that's it).

What to do: Destroy opponents.

No restrictions, just another battle. Only complicated. It all depends on the skill and the chosen weapon. Better take something more powerful.

Target Practice

Where is: Fourteenth mission, Vestibule (when you enter the room, turn around and jump up).

What to do: Destroy enemies before they escape.

Take a sniper rifle and pistols with you and shoot quickly, changing weapons depending on the situation. Remember, you will have to shoot quickly. If you can't, come back here when you get a style that allows you to slow down time.

Guiding Light

Where is: Sixteenth mission, Waking Sun Chamber (when you destroy the ball, the wall will open - there you will find the entrance).

What to do: Solve the problem with crystals.

As far as I understand, the arrangement of the crystals changes every time. Therefore, before you act, look carefully and think for half an hour. Mentally map out the path, then try.

On Pins And Needles

Where is: Eighteenth mission, Pitch-Black Corridor (jump up).

What to do: You need to go through the corridor with spikes to the blue ball.

Choose Trickster style (second level) and use movement bounce, movement key and circle. It allows you to pass through thorns without taking damage. If you have not reached the second level, you will have to suffer from jumping and dodging.

Final Ascension

Where is: Nineteenth mission, Road To Despair (run to big leg and go down).

What to do: Get to the blue ball.

To get to the ball, you will have to jump across the cubes. Acrobatics of the highest level, words cannot describe. It all depends on skill and perseverance. And don’t think that you will succeed the first time - or even the tenth.

Mission 1. Discovered.

Let's watch the introductory video. After a stormy night, Dante wakes up in his trailer and opens the door to a knock. The girl warns us that we “inherited” and now the Hunter is trying to drag us into Limbo. Literally a minute later her words were confirmed. Once in Limbo, we get dressed as we go and begin shredding the hell-spawn. We perform the simplest combinations shown on the screen. Enemies drop red and white spheres, which represent:

  • White spheres - fill the improvement indicator bar, which subsequently unlocks new abilities in the improvement store
  • Red spheres - can be spent on improvements, health, etc. in the shop

Kat will unblock the path, let's jump over and move on. We see a pair of pistols hanging from a bra in the distance. We move along the collapsing bridge, avoiding collisions with cars and jumping over small chasms. We shoot the flying Batos and kill the abominations. Next, we meet the girl. Her name is Kat, she is a psychic who is both in the familiar world and in Limbo. She wants to help, so let's follow her. We destroy small spiders to get some red spheres. There is a lost soul sticking out of the window, we beat it hand-to-hand and get bonuses to the spheres at the end of the task.

We pass between the buildings and find ourselves near a rapidly rotating carousel. We throw the enemies up so that they collide with the carousel (with its low area). We run further, jump onto high obstacles. To do this, hold down the jump button + quickly press it again. We select a golden sphere that gives us extra life after death. We jump down and interact with the divine statue, which allows you to buy upgrades.

The Hunter appeared and brought down the Ferris wheel. This action was also reflected in the real world. We continue to deal with the enemies, and when the Hunter releases his device at us, we dodge to the side. We run to the entrance at the far end on the right and go inside. We move along the corridors and go down below. The mechanisms have blocked the passage, so all we can do is kill the enemies. Then we run forward and jump over the sharp saws or wait for them to open and just run further.

Having got out, we go to a large area where we will have a fight with the Hunter. We make a high jump and attack his head. The enemy will weaken and we will be able to finish him off. When he climbs onto the beams, we move away and shoot in the head to force him to go down. We continue to perform these simple steps and deal with the Hunter.

Mission 2. The bitter truth.

Kat asks us to go with her to the Order headquarters to meet with her boss. Having arrived at the place, we communicate with Virgil - Dante's twin brother. To make sure of this, we go to the mansion where my brother, my parents and I lived. Kat opens a portal, thanks to which we move to Limbo.

We follow the corridor, then go up the left stairs and pass further. We get to the room with a painting of Sparda, our father. We destroy enemies, including a death knight with a shield. We attack him from behind and throw him into the air as often as possible. Then we come into contact with the picture and receive a new weapon - the Arbiter. They can deliver powerful blows and directly penetrate enemy shields. Having finished with the enemies, we leave the room through the side passage. We jump down, go forward into the passage on the left, go down even lower and jump up. We returned to the stairs, so we deal with the enemies and go up the right stairs.

We destroy the door emitting a bright red light with the help of the arbiter. We get to the room where we meet three enemies with shields at once. We deliver short blows with the referee and dodge more often. Under the bed we find some props that immerse us in an unknown world with a giant statue in chains. We jump on the platforms and use the referee on the red rings to attract other platforms. Also now we can attract flying creatures and deal with them directly on the ground. We get to the stone fasteners on which the chain is held. We strike the red mark three times with the referee.

We return to Limbo, go forward and jump down. After walking a little along the corridor, as usual, we pull the red rings. We destroy the door with a powerful blow from the arbitrator. We attract batos with shields twice and kill them. Next, we follow the ghost of the mother, break down the door and along the corridor we get to the room with the painting. Having dealt with the enemies, we touch the picture and get a new weapon - Osiris. It allows you to chop up large groups of enemies. We get out through the only passage. We move on to the next building and break down the door. Going inside, we destroy the blue stems with the help of Osiris. Another flimsy door separates us from the blue rose, which plunges us into a strange world.

Like last time, we jump on the platforms and are attracted to the blue rings by Osiris. We can also cross chasms by clinging to the enemy on the other side. We get to the second fastener and destroy it. Returning to Limbo, we deal with the enemies. At the door we find a photograph, looking at which Dante remembers everything that happened to them in childhood. All that remains is to return to the real world, jumping on changing platforms. Then we slowly run along the corridor.

Mission 3. Pedigree.

The brother tells us about the history of the imprisonment of Sparda and the death of mother Eve. The almighty demon Mundus ruled thousands of hordes. His right hand There was Sparda, but he betrayed Mundus by falling in love with the angel Eve. Twin boys were born - Dante and Virgil. They are the Nephilim - the sworn enemies of the demon ruler. Mundus personally killed Eve, and imprisoned Sparda in chains. According to legend, only we, the Nephilim, can destroy the ruler of the demons. We move to Limbo and destroy the enemies. Devastators with chainsaws appear. They are dangerous only at certain times when they light up with bright light. At this moment, it is better to stop attacks and run away, because we will not be able to interrupt their attack. Kat will open the gate, let's move on. However, the resulting abyss will not allow us to pass, so we turn around and continue the battle with the enemies. When the blue ring appears, we climb up, clinging to it. We deal with the devastator and move on. Using multiple rings we get to the center and pick up the blue rose.

We get a new ability - Angelic Acceleration. Hold down the corresponding button and press the jump button. We move along the platforms. If the gaps are large, then first we perform a double jump, and only then we use angelic acceleration. When performing an attraction to the rings, you need to briefly release the special button and hold it again to perform an angelic acceleration. We destroy the stone mount and return to Limbo.

New enemies appear - Pathos. We quickly attract them and destroy them. If necessary, we dodge the laser aimed at us. Having dealt with everyone, we go to the abyss and cross it using angelic acceleration.

As the conversation continues, we learn that Mundus lives in the modern world and controls one of the largest banks on the planet.

Mission 4. At gunpoint.

After a little hooliganism, the camera notices us, and so we move to Limbo. At the intersection we deal with the enemies. Then we go along the left passage and at the top of the central building we pull the red ring. We pull ourselves up onto the blue ring and along the platforms we get to the right passage, at the end of which we pull the surveillance camera and destroy the eye.

We jump down and move on. An abyss has formed, so we follow Kat into the alley. We encounter hellish fragments, in order to destroy them, we often press the pistol shot button. We get out into the street and use angelic acceleration to cross the abyss. We deal with the opponents and go left. Buildings are trying to squeeze us in, and the ground is disappearing from under our feet. We run forward, jump and use angelic acceleration as we go. Having got out, we see a new enemy - an ice knight. Only the weapon of Osiris works against him. We go along the right side, pull ourselves up by the blue ring. We jump to the left and from here to another platform towards the intersection. Pull the red ring and destroy the eye. We jump down, go along the left side, Kat will call us into the alley.

After the video, pull the red ring and climb up. We move to the right and destroy the second eye on the wall of the central building. Next, we kill the enemies that appear. A passage on the left side has opened, we go to it and, as we did earlier, we avoid the trap by rushing forward and occasionally using the pull to the blue rings. We go into the building on the right, move along a narrow passage and eventually fall down. We shoot at the fragments at the other end. We roll down and find ourselves in a large room, where we destroy the ice knights with the help of Osiris and other enemies. After them the Tyrant will appear. We dodge the rams and quickly use the pull on the enemy’s back. We deliver a series of powerful blows, but do not forget to retreat in time. Having won, we leave this place, jumping on the shifting platforms. We cling to the blue rings and the huge window.

Mission 5. Virility.

We arrive at the factory for the production of the world famous drink “Virility”. Kat senses the presence of the Succubus demon right under this plant. It is he who produces the very ingredient that allows you to control people's minds. We follow Kat into the storage room. It is from here that she will open a portal that will plunge us into Limbo.
Having gone down to the very bottom, from here we begin our journey to the mixing room. We climb the platforms, move along the left side, pulling out the red rings and pulling ourselves up by the blue ones. After dealing with the enemies, we remove the black slurry and with angelic acceleration we jump to the platform. We climb even higher, are attracted to the blue one and quickly pull the red ring on the container. Having passed through it, we meet the knight of hell. The referee is effective against him. When the enemy stands rooted to the spot, this means you need to quickly move away from the radius of destruction. Having dealt with the enemies, we go inside. We move along the corridor, jump up the boxes. You need to get to the other side along the rings. Along the way we destroy the Bathos. We are faced with two opposites at once - a knight of hell and a knight of ice. We use the Arbiter and Osiris against both enemies, respectively.

We follow forward along the corridor until we reach a room with numerous opponents. After them, three hellish fragments will appear at once. We quickly shoot them. Any of the corridors will lead us to the mixing room. Vile creatures fill containers, and people have no idea what their favorite drink is made from. We are afraid of spilled liquid and deal with the enemies. The greatest danger is posed by two tyrants at once. We dodge the rams and quickly cling to their backs. We try to separate the enemies, provoking one of them to attack. Having finished with the tyrants, we go to the succubus.

Mission 6. Secret ingredient.

We follow Kat, then jump into the hole, trusting her. The location changes, now the wall has become the floor. We rush to the fan at full speed, time is limited, so we are minimally distracted by enemies. We use long jumps after the rings. Let's release the pressed button and press it again to prolong the flight of the angelic acceleration. Having reached the fan, pull out the red ring on the left. Through the tunnel we get to the succubus boss. The battle will take place in three stages:

  1. We attack at the red top of the head, which comes out after the enemy hits. While jumping, we dodge arm swings. When the enemy is bathed in bright light, we quickly leave this platform using the rings on the sides. Having spent the health bar, we move to one of the convenient positions and pull out one of the two hoses in the center. The angry enemy will begin to destroy the platform we are on, so we quickly move away from it.
  2. We continue to attack the top of the succubus's head, this time we dodge her powerful blows with both hands. We repeat everything that happened in the first stage. We pull out the second hose and transfer to another platform.
  3. We finish off the last health bar and pull the succubus herself out of the test tube.

We cross to the other side, the succubus is still alive. We pull on the available rings and at the last moment strike the stone on which the succubus is caught. We get a new weapon - Eriks gauntlets.

Mission 7. Subversion.

While we were driving to meet Virgil, Kat told us a little about herself. Mundus controls the Raptor News tower, which has a monopoly among the world's media. Another tower boss is Bob Barbas. The lower part of the tower, which is reflected in the river, is a prison. She is visible in Limbo, but not in the real world. We are transported through the portal to Limbo and begin to climb up. We destroy the red crystal using Erics. We stand above the red crystal, make a jump and strike Eriksim from the air. We cling to the blue rings and throw the truck away with a blow from Eric. We climb up, destroy the next crystal and deal with the enemies. Once in front of the entrance to the prison, we cling to the ring on the left and along the platforms we get to the street.

We are attracted to the blue ring, then hold the jump button to make a powerful dash. An obstacle blocked the path, so we go left. Having gone around, we once again use a powerful jump and deal with the enemies in the room. Use the blue ring to fly to the next room. We meet a new enemy - anger. A very insidious creature, we try to attack it with Osiris. And when the enemy lights up with a bright light, you need to move away and get ready to dodge to the side. We go further and go up to the lift. We jump up and strike with Erix so that the elevator goes down. We continue to break through the crystals in the floor. We kill two wraths and cling to the blue ring at the top right. We get out and run across the bridge. After its collapse, we notice an old man on the right and get to him along the carriages. New enemies are harpies. Their difference from bathos is that in a passive state they can evade the pull of the arbiter. The old man is actually missing one eye - it was stolen by harpies. We share our plans, and then agree to help the poor guy.

Mission 8. Without eyes.

An old man asks for help: his eye was stolen by treacherous harpies. He will help get into the tower if we restore his sight. The old man will call the harpies, when they appear, we fly over to him and begin the pursuit. We cling to the blue rings. We pull out the red ring, run forward, then jump to the left, since an abyss has formed in front of us. We destroy the wall, go straight a little, turn right. We pull the red ring, pull ourselves up by the blue one and immediately make a long jump. We move along the rails, jumping over chasms. We avoid collisions with the occasionally appearing train, dodging in the direction that is not occupied by transport.

Having reached the platform, we deal with the enemies. Some of them can be thrown up at the moment when a train passes. Thus, we will instantly destroy them. We turn left, go lower and lower, simultaneously shooting hellish fragments. We destroy the wall, turn right, continue going straight. We shoot a couple of fragments and go down to the glass dome. We take the eye and, being in the center, shoot at the harpies and bathos. If possible, we attract them. Harpies are more resourceful and can only be attracted when they are preparing to attack. We return back the same way we came here. On the platform this time the enemies are stronger - two angers. There won't be a train on the tracks, but there will be small enemies. Next, we will face a tyrant and two small opponents. Let's deal with them first, and then with the tyrant. We return to the old man and give him the eye. In fact, he knows us and that we are the son of Sparda.

Mission 9. The devil from within.

The old man is rebuilding the bridge along which we cross to the other side. We destroy the door with the arbiter and meet the old man on the other side. He talks about Assiel, the keeper of the key. We reach it with long jumps. The platforms are getting lower and lower. The new enemy is a witch. We destroy its shell with the help of Osiris, after which we attack in any way. We get to the key by following the blue rings. We move to another world to the statue. We free her from the last shackle.

After listening to Eve's speech, we get the Hell Trigger ability. It can be used after filling the scale under health. Once the hell trigger is activated, enemies are launched into the air and rendered helpless. We attract them or are attracted to them and destroy them.

The old man is building platforms so that we can climb up to him. We move along the blue rings to the building opposite. We clear it and get out through the gap in the wall. We turn right, cling to the ring and get to the next building. We are given advice: if you actively shoot at the harpies, you can destroy their wings. It is advisable to perform this action when the harpies are hovering over the abyss. Having finished with the enemies, we climb the rings to the old man.

Mission 10. Bad news.

Phineas gives final instructions, after which we cross the bridge to the tower. Lilith, Mundus's lover, carries his heir under her heart. If we want to truly anger the main demon, then we need to deal with Lilith. We quickly jump on the platforms, pull ourselves up to the blue rings and avoid the powerful beam stream.

Having burst into the tower, we jump along the platforms and finally meet the boss Bob Barbas. The preferred weapon in a fight with him is the Erics gauntlets. The fight will take place in three stages. There are red crystals on the floor. We strike at them with Erix from the air. Don't forget to dodge the colorful holograms. In the first stage we destroy one crystal, in the second - two and in the third - three. In the second and third cases, we do it as quickly as possible, otherwise everything will have to start all over again. Then we strike with the same erix on the huge head in the center. Bob will try to attack twice, creating inferno around himself, so we retreat back in time. In the breaks between stages, we crush the spawn on the “live broadcast”. At the end we get a new weapon - a couple of aquilas, which deal devastating damage to groups of weak enemies from a long distance.

Mission 11. Order of Chaos.

Special forces are about to attack the Order. Inside are Kat and Virgil. We jump off the roof and head into the alley. Aquilas are ideal for destruction large group brat. Then it will appear new opponent- butcher. His weak point is his round belly. We strike at it and periodically deviate to the sides to avoid enemy attacks. While at a distance, we also dodge the blades flying at us. Having dealt with the enemies, we climb up the rings. We launch aquila into the climbing stems. We fly inside and destroy the crystals using Erics. We scatter the stems and jump down. We pass along the corridor, break through the floor.

We deal with a large number of enemies, then wait for the special forces to appear. They will blow up the door, and we will be able to go further along the corridor. Along the way, we kill many more creatures. Moving much faster than the special forces, we are looking for workarounds. For example, we split the stems at the top and break through the crystal on the wall on the right, moving around. An unknown enemy will appear at the end. He is extremely fast and also uses portals. Before attacking this enemy, you must dodge his attacks. Only then will he be weakened. In the next room we find a panicking Kat.

Mission 12. Under siege.

Since we are stuck in Limbo, we can help Kat indirectly. It will draw circles that we can pull on. We destroy the supports and collapse the passage. When Kat hides, she will be discovered by a commando. We pull the rack with the equipment. We get to the server room, where Virgil is located. We help him deal with the butcher.

While Kat and Virgil are engaged in self-destruction of important data, we are holding the line. We destroy a large number of enemies. Spawns of wrath appeared among them. The easiest way to combat these small creatures is to use a pair of aquilas. Shards will begin to appear in the center. We quickly shoot them, receive the “Resurrected” shotgun from our brother and continue to deal with the fragments. When it's time to leave, we won't be able to help Kat.

Mission 13. Devil's hobby.

Kat tells Mundus Virgil's name. He also wants to arrange an exchange: Dante for the girl. But Dante has other plans: to capture Lilith and arrange an exchange for her. We arrive at the club, where Lilith decides to give us a test. We are transported to Limbo and begin to destroy the enemies on the dance floor. Then we climb up and move towards the statue at the other end. At the edge we notice a red square in the floor. We strike him with an air strike from the air.

A game was organized especially for us, the goal of which was to survive for seven rounds. We pass forward, holding the corresponding button, so as not to receive damage from the hellish floors. Accordingly, when walking on the angelic floors, we press another button. Each round is a small challenge with a small number of enemies. After it, you need to hit the button on the floor again and get to the next platform. In the third round, we are afraid of the moving hellish and angelic floors, so do not forget to hold down the corresponding button. In the fifth round we will again meet an unknown enemy using teleporters. We dodge his attacks, and only after that we strike. In the sixth round we will face different types anger. We use angelic weapons against ghostly ones, and demonic ones against fiery ones.

Mission 14. Last dance.

It's time to fight Lilith and her cub. Before getting to the mother, whom the cub has safely hidden inside himself, you need to spend the enemy’s health bar. The battle is conventionally divided into two stages, each of which amounts to two full bars of the cub’s health. In the first stage, we cling to the blue rings of the monster on his hand on the left (if you look at his front part, it turns out that he is on the right). We immediately deliver powerful blows and retreat. We do this until an eye opens on his head, which you need to grab onto and also deliver a flurry of blows. Having spent the health bar, the lower part of Lilith’s body will be outside. We pull it out and attack. We continue these actions until complete victory. The second stage differs from the first only in that before grabbing the arm from the side, it must first be pulled out with a demonic grip. Don't forget to jump to dodge the wave attacks that the monster spews out. Having won, we record a video message for Mundus with a new condition of the deal.

Mission 15. Exchange.

The whole train arrives at the port where the transaction is to take place, or rather the exchange - Lilith for Kat. When everything was ready, Virgil breaks down and shoots Lilith in the stomach. Shooting begins, after which Dante is transported to Limbo, and Kat and Virgil try to escape in a car. We must help them overcome obstacles. In the first case, we cling to the car, jump over to the right container and pull up the one in the center. In the second case, we get to several containers and strike them from the air with Erix three times. We quickly leave the port along the blue rings.

We go into the folding room, destroy the enemies, jump over the abyss and remove the huge propeller from the path of the allies. Having landed on the truck, we prepare to grab onto the blue ring at the top. The ground disappears from under your feet, and the rings are located at a great distance from each other. Therefore, having caught on the ring, we release the pressed button, jump and, holding it again, lengthen the flight. And lastly, we get to the elevated railway tracks and strike the support with an erix.

Mission 16. Plan.

Having got out of the mess, Kat thinks over a plan of action. Recent events have weakened Mundus. This is our chance to deal with him. We enter the tower through the back door. Virgil will go to the security room, and we will go directly, through the floors. First, we get to the tower along the platforms. We cling to the blue rings, the green ones indicate that you need to quickly press the jump button to make a dash. At the entrance we encounter new enemies - elite hellspawn. They differ from ordinary hellspawn in having stronger armor and additional attacks with a fiery sword. Virgil will only open the central door for thirty seconds. You need to run to it, and if you wish, you can try to deal with the enemies.

Once inside, we encounter the elite guard Dreamer. We've met him before, so it shouldn't be too difficult to kill him. We go further, turn left and take the elevator to the eighty-seventh floor. Having met with Virgil, we will separate again. We will head to the east wing, and Virgil will head to the west, where the main server room is located. Turning right, we move straight. We deal with the enemies, after which the door to the bridge will be open from the side of the windows. There are lasers here, which Virgil will turn off in a few seconds. We go into the financial wing, kill a couple of bathos and one dreamer. A blue ring will appear at the top, climb up it. We kill the angry ones or immediately run into the elevator on the left.

By mistake we leave on the one hundred and fifth floor, which is teeming with enemies. We go to the left, deal with the offspring, and quickly shoot out the fragments at the passage. Then we destroy two angers. We go up, clinging to the ring. We follow the arrow and avoid traps. We deal with the enemies in the narrow passage. We cling to the rings, press the jump button on the green ring and after a jerk, we cling to the blue ring again. Virgil will not be able to completely disable the lasers. But we can, having chosen the moment, jump and make an angelic acceleration. During the break, we kill the dreamer and several abominations.
After crossing the bridge, we turn right and get to the elevator, where Virgil is already waiting for us. We receive from him a stun gun, which in Limbo is powerful weapon against demons. Having gone upstairs, we use new weapons against enemies. We shoot and we blow it up. We move along the corridor, turn to the bridge on the right. It collapses, so we cross the abyss, clinging to the rings. We take the elevator up five floors. We get out, where we can see the core. We destroy enemies. If you shoot a titan in the back, at its weak point, with a stun gun, you can deal with it much faster. At the end, Drekavac, an improved dreamer, will appear. He can interrupt our attacks and make a counterattack, so we retreat in time. We follow the blue rings to the crystal.

Mission 17. Crucible of souls.

We got inside the core, now we need to get to Mundus's lair. We jump on the platforms, clinging to the rings. We select the moment to avoid damage from the eruption. We are standing on the platform when everything around is covered with lava. Before jumping onto some platforms, first pull them up by the red ring. It’s the same with blue rings: right in flight, pull the red ring, then the blue one that appears. We destroy the climbing stems and move across the large platform. We destroy all the enemies that appear, then we fly further along the rings.

Mission 18. Lair of the Demon.

We meet Virgil and move forward together. The demons know about our presence, so they blocked the mechanism. Opposite each of the statues there is a tunnel. Let's go into each of them and restore the generators by pulling their red rings. Everything is simple and there are only a small number of enemies. We return to the crossroads, where we need to match the signs on the statues and the floor mechanism. We hit the red zones with Erix from the air. Each statue is directed towards an oval; we place the icon corresponding to it in this oval. The video shows how to do this. Next, we discuss further actions with my brother. We will have to provoke Mundus and lure him out of his lair. At this time, Virgil will close the Gates of Hell and make Mundus vulnerable.

Mission 19. Face of the Demon.

As planned, we provoke Mundus and take upon ourselves all his wrath. The immortal demon, transformed to unprecedented proportions, begins to attack us. In the case of an infant, weak point was. Everything is similar here, Virgil will try to open the enemy’s eyes. We move along the blue rings to the roof of the neighboring building. Mundus is seriously enraged, so Dante uses the infernal trigger. Now, using the blue and green rings, we get to the enemy’s head and pull the eye.

We move around the building, removing obstacles from the path. We also use Erics and Arbiter to destroy walls. Mundus sucked Virgil into himself. Once on the roof, we fly along the rings on the right to the next roof. A battle begins in which you need to evade the enemy's hands, and then quickly be drawn to them and strike. When Mundus begins to take a powerful breath, we quickly leave this roof. Having hit each of the hands, we pull out the eye. Further, Mundus will remain without arms, but will continue to send fireballs at us. We dodge them and strike at the open mouth.

Mission 20. The end.

We won, but now Virgil plans to take control of the Earth and all of humanity. Dante doesn't want this because he believes that people should be free. Due to differences of opinion, a fight will begin between the brothers. We do not attack immediately, but only after Virgil’s attacks. We reflect with our sword everything that flies at us. When the enemy has very little health left, he will summon a clone. We attack him in the same way as Virgil himself. For this we get dark spheres, which replenish the infernal trigger bar. We quickly use the ability and hit Vergil while he crouches and replenishes his health. Let's watch the final video.
