There were no questions with the stars. How to work with a star without it being painfully embarrassing (for both you and her). What is your main weakness?

We combined the legendary Proust questionnaire and the questions of psychologist Arthur Aron, by answering which young couples - participants in the experiment - fell in love with each other. Today, the Russian pop singer TONI answers the questions that interest everyone.

What virtues do you value most?

What I value most in people is passion for life. There’s fire in the eyes, they’re energized by what they love, it’s always incredibly interesting to be with such people. Other qualities that are very important to me are responsiveness, determination, and generosity. Everything we give always comes back, so you shouldn’t skimp on the little things, especially since it’s so nice.

Qualities that you value most in a man?

Metamorphoses are taking place in our society: women are trying to prove their strength and independence, but men feel bad about it. For me personally, it is important to feel determination, a sense of humor, intelligence, determination, and gallantry in a man. Moreover, the latter is a rather rare occurrence now! For example, I really love it when people open the car door for me. You immediately feel like a fragile princess. And most importantly, guys actually like to behave this way, they are just often embarrassed by it, afraid to look deliberately polite and funny. Therefore, such gestures, like any help from a man, should be appreciated and always thanked.

Qualities that you value most in a woman?

This is a question about our femininity, which we have lost. For some reason, society continues to elevate the image of an independent woman in everything, thereby dooming many to loneliness. In my opinion, what is important in a woman is gentleness, diplomacy, kindness, love of life, unpredictability, in order to enjoy life and charge those close to you with this feeling. And the strength of a woman - no one has canceled it, but it is in victory without war, it is in beauty, fragility (which is always only an illusion and the result great job above oneself).

In your opinion, what is the greatest achievement of your life?

The decision to live according to your own scenario. It takes a certain amount of courage to decide to focus on creativity when everyone around you is building a career, when your family is worried about your future and stability. At first it looked like a big gamble, but now I can’t imagine how I could live differently. And achievements, I hope, are still to come, and for me these are, first of all, my songs.

What is your most characteristic feature?

Daydreaming. My adventurism is obvious to everyone close to me. But it's nice to know that there is a team of people who believe in me and help me a lot.

What is your main weakness?

Harshness, especially if it hits me to the quick. I can mess things up and then apologize for a long time.

If not yourself, then who would you like to be?

Gagarin. Or Brigitte Bardot. But still be sure to fly into space!

Where would you like to live?

I feel good in Russia, and I believe that we are needed where we were born. But no one canceled travel, and I adore it!

What is your idea of happiness?

The feeling of a tailwind when you do something and feel that life seems to be helping you is real happiness. In general, the truth is that happiness is a state of mind. It is important not to forget to be grateful for everything we have, for every day given to us.

What do you consider the biggest misfortune?

Serious illness, loss of a loved one.

What vices do you feel most indulgent towards?

For example, to extravagance, but within reasonable limits, of course, and when it stems from generosity and not from show-off. I can also understand snobbery: people with a head full of knowledge and a heightened sense of beauty generally have a hard time in this world! And also ambition, since it is hypertrophied daydreaming in action.

What do you disgust, what do you hate?

I don’t like cynical people: they bite, bite off other people’s dreams and plans, and instill self-doubt. I try to protect myself from such communication. In the same list are rudeness and cruelty. Usually these qualities manifest themselves quite rarely, in outbursts of anger, but one such situation is enough for me to draw conclusions.

Given everyone in the world, who would you invite over for dinner?

Serge Ginzbourg. And not for lunch, but for dinner, and be sure to have a piano nearby.

Who are your favorite writers?

Now these are Henri Maurois, Somerset Maugham, Ilf and Petrov, Leonid Filatov. Their books are very helpful in improving your mood. “Letters to a Stranger” by A. Maurois I strongly recommend to all girls as a reference book.

Yours favorite dish, drink?

Fruits. What could be tastier than a ripe peach? My favorite drink is coffee with cardamom.

What is your current state of mind?

Romantic. Spring!

What do you value most in friends?

Support with advice, an outside perspective. I am a suspicious person and often ask my loved ones for advice, and it seems to me that sometimes this drives them to despair!

What does friendship mean to you?

Of course, this is help - both in word and in deed, an emotional embrace in any situation. And also this is to come to visit, walk and chat about anything and everything, watch a movie, experience some important and unimportant events together, dress up and discuss boys.

What ability would you like to have (if you were Superman)? Teleport. The road takes a lot of time. And I really hope that I will still live to see the day when this will be a reality, and not a superpower!

Before you do phone call, do you ever rehearse what you're going to say?

Yes, I like to outline what I want to say, otherwise I’ll forget half of it.

When you're in last time did you sing alone?

15 minutes ago. In general, I live with a song in life.

What in your life do you feel most grateful for?

For supporting my family no matter what. This is actually not as natural as it might seem. And also for significant meetings with people important to me, for that same tailwind.

What role do love and affection play in your life?

Inspiring.

How close are your family members? Do you think your childhood was happier than most other people's?

Yes, I'm very lucky - I have a big one, a strong family. My childhood was not easy, but very interesting and definitely happy. I studied languages, studied a lot of music and dreamed of throwing the piano out the window. She also did pentathlon (swimming, running, fencing, shooting, equestrianism). All this required a lot of discipline and often left no free time at all. But now, of course, I am grateful to my parents for this amazing experience, which, of course, shaped both my character and worldview.

What is your motto?

This energy would be for the benefit of the homeland!

What can you not imagine your handbag and wardrobe without?

A handbag - without lip balm, a wardrobe - without a hat.

What is your main secret beauty?

Inner harmony and love for life. And also healthy food and healthy sleep.

What would you like to protect your children from?

From violence and disease. My dream is for all children to be protected from this.

The result of the Sunday broadcast of the show “Dancing with the Stars” surprised many, because the strongest couple, Michelle Andrade and Zhenya Kot, left the project. According to the results of the audience vote, they were in the risk zone along with Pavel Vishnyakov and his partner Yulia Sakhnevich. The fate of the couples was determined by the judges: one vote from Monatik in favor of Michelle and Zhenya could not save them from elimination.

Today Zhenya Kot commented on the jury’s decision. According to the dancer, of the two stars - Michelle Andrade and Pavel Vishnyakov - it was Pavel who was weaker on the last broadcast.

“Of course, I will agree with Montatic. Not only because he voted for us... Dance is my profession. Just because I'm just a participant in this show doesn't mean I can't professionally evaluate the levels of other dancers. Our dances were more difficult. If we compare the two stars who were nominated, especially the latest numbers, and especially their technique, then I will give my vote to Michelle Andrade. We did an incredible job, Michelle worked hard! She had a billion choreographies, a lot of precise musical and technical movements. Moreover, she is a girl to whom the gaze is riveted, and therefore attention. She had to work twice as hard as a man, who, if anything, would be covered by an excellent partner. Pasha was lucky with support from different sides... But I’ll be honest - he was weaker than Michelle on this broadcast. In fact, even with the naked eye you can see the difference in the number levels of all participants. But the viewer’s opinion is always subjective, and the jury is the same viewer. I respect their opinion,” said Zhenya Kot.

Interested in the latest trends in interviewing candidates? Or maybe you're wondering how you can use old approaches to new way? According to Lynn Sarikas, director of the MBA program at Northeastern University Business School in the United States, more and more companies are now asking candidates very unusual questions, viewing them as an important part of the interviewing process.

The interview questions once offered by Microsoft have long become legendary. Among them were: How many golf balls can fit in a Boeing 747? Why is the sewer manhole round? Etc. However, Microsoft seems to have partly moved away from puzzle questions, at least when interviewing programmers. Now to the developers software During interviews at companies, they are increasingly asked to solve various (often very complex) professional tasks using a board and markers, paper and pencil, laptop.

But other employers have also begun to use unusual questions during interviews with their candidates, although for very different reasons - not so much to select the smartest, but to find the most suitable candidates. The fact is that now there is a huge amount of recommendations and advice for job seekers. This is an entire industry that is growing at an unprecedented pace. As a result, every candidate knows very well that he should prepare at least short answers in advance for the standard questions that are asked most often. Some questions that were once considered “highlights” have long been perceived as standard. For example, these include asking you to name your strengths and weaknesses, or asking you to explain why the applicant believes he is the best candidate for the position in question.

Interviewers use unusual interview questions to give the candidate the opportunity to open up and show their true qualities. It also allows you to understand how the candidate reacts to unexpected questions or unforeseen turns of events. Majority non-standard questions have no right or wrong answers, but provide an opportunity, according to Lynn Sarikas, to “demonstrate your speed of thinking, your composure, your creativity, and your sense of humor.”

According to her, “interviewers thus try to look at the candidate in an unrehearsed situation, to understand how he behaves when he does not feel sufficiently protected. It is impossible to prepare for such strange, out-of-the-ordinary questions, so the interviewer has the opportunity to observe how the candidate reacts to unexpected difficulties, how he or she collects his thoughts. In addition, some interviewers ask "crazy" questions to get a better idea of the candidate's thinking process... They want to see how he would think about unusual questions."

Really Tough Unconventional Interview Questions

According to Lynn Sarikas, asking one or two of these questions during an interview is usually enough. This will provide enough additional information about the candidate, will allow you to assess the candidate’s ability to not get lost in a difficult situation and understand how well he will be able to fit into the culture of your organization.

If you were a character in a book (cartoon, fairy tale, etc. - the interviewer chooses the option based on the situation), what kind of character would it be?

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you want to star in?

If you could become a superhero, what superpowers would you have?

Let's say someone wrote a biography about you. What do you think it will be titled?

Suppose you are shipwrecked and find yourself on a desert island, but you have everything you need for life (water, food). What two other things would you like to have with you?

Let's say you have six months absolutely free from any obligations and financial restrictions. How would you spend this time?

Suppose you find out that you only have six months to live. How would you spend them?

If you could have dinner with any famous historical figure, who would it be and why?

If you were anything edible, what would it be?

If you won $20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?

If you were a salad, what kind of dressing or sauce would it have? Why?

How would you rate my level as an interviewer?

If you were a car, what brand would you be? What type (truck, passenger car, etc.)? Why?

Who do you admire most and why?

What would a news headline say about you and your life?

« Behavioral interview questions

Simply put, “behavioral” questions ask how a candidate has handled similar situations in the past. Of course, they will not force the candidate to look into a magic crystal ball and will not be able to accurately predict his future behavior in any situation. L. Sarikas suggests using such questions in order to general outline understand the candidate's behavioral style. Below are questions prepared by Susan Heathfield:

Describe a situation in which you took a serious risk in your professional field. What was the result?

Tell me about a time when your colleagues did not agree with the course of action you proposed. Have you tried to convince them that you are right? If yes, how did you do it? And what happened in the end?

Describe a time when you successfully worked as a team to achieve a goal, under time and budget constraints, and ended up achieving what you wanted. What was your role? What did this experience teach you?

Describe a situation where you had to work as a team to achieve a goal, with time and budget restrictions, but your team did not achieve the desired result. What was your role? What did this experience teach you?

How would your last boss describe you? Your colleagues with last place work? What would they point out as your greatest strength? What's your weakness?

Describe a difficult problem that you have had to solve, and tell me step by step exactly how you solved it.

Remember any really difficult situation from your past experience, which you were able to resolve by coming up with a non-standard solution. Tell us about this situation.

Describe a situation when you happened to work together with colleagues, and in the process some kind of conflict arose with your participation. Describe how you perceived this conflict, what actions did you take? Which efforts helped resolve the situation and which did not? Did you somehow overcome the consequences of the conflict then? How?

Describe a situation from your past experience in which you now understand that you should have behaved differently.

Tell me about a time you tried to achieve a big goal. What obstacles did you encounter along the way? What did you do to overcome them?

Describe the most stressful situation, in which you have ever found yourself. How did it all end (in general and for you personally)?

Tell me about a time when you had to convince someone, to persuade other people to your point of view. Did you manage to achieve this? How? What did this lead to in the end?

Incorporating several of these “behavioral” questions into your interview will help you obtain information important to your hiring decision. If you add a couple more from the list of non-standard questions, then there will be more than enough information to think about the candidate being interviewed. Both approaches can be used to successfully select candidates. You just need to follow moderation and not fill the interview entirely with non-standard and “behavioral” questions.

It's not so much the quantity that matters questions asked, but the quantity and quality of the resulting information. Often, with a properly conducted interview and the right topics, even a couple of such problematic questions will be more than enough. Conversely, a dozen monosyllabic answers may indicate not so much the candidate’s shortcomings, but rather an incorrectly structured interview. Keep this in mind, and good luck!

Ask yourself these questions before it’s too late.

I always wanted to work with “stars”, although I am completely devoid of fanaticism. For the same reason, I never ask famous people, especially with whom I work, to take a photo as a souvenir. I like to joke about this topic like this: “I don’t take pictures with stars, I sleep with them.”

For the first time I tried myself as a manager for supporting artists, being a PR specialist at Radio Maximum. I was then asked to help organize the concert of “Gogol Bordello”, “Fire Orchestra” and “Tear the Fur Orchestra”. It was funny - a thin girl of 23 years old was a pioneer leader for 19 unshaven men for three days. She woke up, fed, drove, accompanied and controlled so that no one got drunk. It’s strange, but everyone treated me with respect and obeyed me unquestioningly. Even two trumpet players fell in love with me. They vying with each other and were jealous.

More than 10 years have passed since then. Now they call me “Lena Pension Fund” because my favorites, with whom I communicate well, are people “over fifty” - Yarmolnik, Syutkin and Boyarsky.

How Mazaev lured people into rooms

She worked as an event manager for six years. Over the years, she has brought many artists to Yekaterinburg for various events - from weddings to private luxury presentations. The first were “Mumiy Troll” and “ Moral code" I will never forget how I brought Sergei Mazaev to the hotel after the performance. Mazaev, a charismatic heartthrob, tells me so tiredly and yawning: “Lenochka, I have very little time, I have to get up early tomorrow, let’s go already!” I was shocked, but answered in a steely voice: “ Good night“Sergey, tomorrow at 6 I’m waiting for you in the hotel lobby,” and she left.

The most difficult person in all the years of work in Yekaterinburg was Svetlana Loboda, who spoke at the opening of New Radio. She had enough problems. Either I’m not in the mood, or “I won’t come to the radio,” or “I won’t go on stage without a smoke machine of such and such brand.” She sings that she's a "superstar" and acts like a "superstar." Bodyguard Nikolai carefully examines each bouquet before handing her flowers to her dressing room. Probably looking for a bug. Only he opens the wine and sniffs it. Perhaps he thinks that they want to poison Loboda.

How a boy was caught in the forest

Now I live in Moscow and work as a casting director at Danila Golovanov’s Red Pepper Film agency. I select actors for films, advertising and music videos. I'm looking for new faces in Moscow theaters, in social networks, TV shows, series, advertising and cinema. I can approach a person in the subway, a cafe, on the street, take a photo and get their phone number. This is normal for me.

One day we were filming a series pilot in the forest, and we urgently needed a cute boy of about ten years old. There was nowhere to look, and there was no time. While I was thinking about what to do, two guys on bikes rode past. I stopped the boys, showed one to the director, and he approved. She asked the boy to call his mother and say that he would be late. We gave him the role and 500 rubles. The child was happy. Me too.

It is much more difficult with those who are already successful and famous. They need their own keys and approaches. Therefore, I read a lot of the press, including those that you would never pick up and call yellow. I follow the personal lives of artists, I know who got married, divorced, gave birth, moved to another theater, and so on. I must be on the same wavelength with the artist and be able to carry on a conversation in some places, and remain silent in others, avoiding a sensitive topic.

The most difficult thing is to find personal contact. For some reason, agents often make decisions for their ward. There was a case when a representative decided that the actor was not interested in the role and refused. I found this person on FB, wrote and sent the script, and he played in the pilot of the series with great pleasure main role.

How I promoted Petya Skvortsov on my phone

Directors trust me to conduct casting because I have developed my talents as a psychologist, journalist, salesman and interviewer. Without this there is no way: I have to get the artist to talk, play the desired scene with him, take a business card and politely refuse. I have to refuse often, but I already have immunity.

On average, it takes 2-3 days to find a hero. I invite 10–15 actors, interview them, and we read the text based on their roles. I film all this, photograph it and send it to the director for approval. Often, if I really like someone, I can convince the director that this is the person we need.

The work of a casting director implies the absence of fear and embarrassment. One day I urgently needed personal number actor Petya Skvortsov ( main character in Serebrennikov’s film “The Apprentice”). I cut off all the phones, knocked on everyone closed doors, but there was no result... And so I was walking home tiredly and saw Skvortsov at the bus stop. Petya stands with headphones on, learns the role and speaks his lines out loud. God, what happiness, I thought, and went up and asked for his number. It's a pity that we couldn't work then. But I have his phone number.

Stumble upon famous person on the street - still a rarity. As a rule, projects are discussed in restaurants on Patriarch's Ponds. Although there are exceptions. One day, Mikhail Boyarsky made an appointment at the Petrovsky Travel Palace, where everything inside was like the movie “Midshipmen, Forward!” We sat pressed into beautiful carved chairs and waited for him to ride into the hall on a horse with a sword at the ready. But no - from the surroundings around the palace there was only a hat.

How I'm a fan of Andrey Zvyagintsev

Part of a casting director's job is to exceed expectations. The artist I am accompanying will not have time to think about what he wants - he will already have it. It doesn’t matter what it is - a car with a driver, cigarettes, a vegetarian salad or warm alpaca wool socks.

Actor Kirill Kyaro captivated me with his simplicity. He is so unpretentious, positive and smiling that working is a pleasure. The lack of requirements in the rider - with the exception of the smoking room - captivated Alexey Serebryakov. He generally responds to any “would you like anything?” answered negatively.

Over the 7 years of work I have worked with many famous personalities- from Meladze to Sobchak. The only star who made me feel like a terrible fan was Andrey Zvyagintsev. It was at the airport. I came up and said that I wanted to work with him. I wanted to fail. Both were embarrassed. He gave me his email and told me to write to him in 1.5 years. I'm waiting.
