Frost and sunshine, what a wonderful day. Poem “Winter Morning” (“Frost and sun, a wonderful day...”)

Frost and sun; wonderful day!
You are still dozing, dear friend -
It's time, beauty, wake up:
Open your closed eyes
Towards northern Aurora,
Be the star of the north!

In the evening, do you remember, the blizzard was angry,
There was darkness in the cloudy sky;
The moon is like a pale spot
Through the dark clouds it turned yellow,
And you sat sad -
And now... look out the window:

Under blue skies
Magnificent carpets,
Glistening in the sun, the snow lies;
The transparent forest alone turns black,
And the spruce turns green through the frost,
And the river glitters under the ice.

The whole room has an amber shine
Illuminated. Cheerful crackling
The flooded stove crackles.
It's nice to think by the bed.
But you know: shouldn’t I tell you to get into the sleigh?
Ban the brown filly?

Sliding on the morning snow,
Dear friend, let's indulge in running
impatient horse
And we'll visit the empty fields,
The forests, recently so dense,
And the shore, dear to me.

Fear is yours best friend and your worst enemy. It's like fire. You control the fire - and you can cook with it. You lose control over it, and it will burn everything around and kill you.

Until you yourself have learned to raise the sun into the heavens every morning, until you know where to direct lightning or how to create a hippopotamus, do not presume to judge how God rules the world - be silent and listen.

A person, in any guise,
Everyone dreams of finding a place in the sun.
And having enjoyed the light and warmth,
He begins to look for sunspots.

One fine day you will come to your place, take that same wine, but it doesn’t taste good, it’s uncomfortable to sit and you’re a completely different person.

Smile when there are clouds in the sky.
Smile when there is bad weather in your soul.
Smile and you will immediately feel better.
Smile, because you are someone’s happiness!

And a new day is like a clean leaf,
You decide for yourself: what, where, when...
Start it with good thoughts, friend,
And then everything will work out in life!

Let's just be. No promises needed. Don't expect the impossible. You will be with me, and I will be with you. Let's just have each other. Silently. Quiet. And for real!!!

When your face is cold and bored,
When you live in irritation and argument,
You don't even know what a torment you are
And you don’t even know how sad you are.

When are you kinder than the blue in the sky,
And in the heart there is light, and love, and participation,
You don't even know what song you are
And you don’t even know how lucky you are!

I can sit by the window for hours and watch how snowing. The best thing is to look through the thick snow at a light, such as a street lamp. Or leave the house so that the snow falls on you. This is it, a miracle. This cannot be created by human hands.

The poem “Winter Morning” was written by Alexander Sergeevich on November 3, 1829 in one day.

It was a difficult period in the poet's life. About six months earlier, he wooed Natalya Goncharova, but was refused, which, according to Pushkin, drove him crazy. Trying to somehow distract himself from unpleasant experiences, the poet chose one of the most reckless ways - to go to the active army, to the Caucasus, where there was a war with Turkey.

After staying there for several months, the rejected groom decides to return and ask for Natalya’s hand in marriage again. On his way home, he visits his friends, the Wulf family, in the village of Pavlovskoye, Tula province, where this work is created.

In terms of its genre, the poem “Frost and Sun, a Wonderful Day...” refers to landscape lyricism, the artistic style is romanticism. It is written in iambic tetrameter, the poet’s favorite meter. It showed Pushkin’s high professionalism - few authors can beautifully write six-line stanzas.

Despite the apparent linearity of the poem, it is not only about the beauty of a winter morning. It bears the imprint of the author’s personal tragedy. This is shown in the second stanza - yesterday’s storm echoes the poet’s mood after the refusal of matchmaking. But further, using the example of magnificent morning landscapes, Pushkin’s optimism and belief that he can win the hand of his beloved are revealed.

And so it happened - in May of the following year, the Goncharov family approved Natalya’s marriage to Pushkin.

Listen to A.S. Pushkin’s poem “Winter Morning”. This is how Igor Kvasha performs this poem.

Analysis of Pushkin's poem "Winter Morning"

Poem by A.S. Pushkin’s “Winter Morning” conveys the bright sensations of a clear winter landscape, which clearly echo the mood and feelings of the author. The lyrical hero picturesquely paints pictures of nature in a dialogue with a girl. Through vivid images nature, the poet conveys feelings for a beautiful lady.

Composition

The beginning of the poem is an address to a girl for whom the poet has tender feelings. This is indicated by the appeals “adorable friend”, “beauty”, “dear friend”, “closed gaze”.

Next comes the contrast in the description of yesterday, when “the blizzard was angry.” The fury of the storm is echoed by the darkness that “rushed” and the pallor of the moon. The elements of nature are described in dark colors, which also express the heroine’s sadness the day before. This appeal to the previous gloomy picture allows us to describe the gentle winter morning with sparkling snow, the sparkle of the river and bright sunlight. The only bright spot in this serene rural landscape is the blackening forest.

But suddenly dynamics appear in the presented picture, when the hero offers to harness the sleigh and “indulge in the running of an impatient horse.”
The poem ends with a bright declaration of love for native land, for whom the author has feelings no less than for the woman he loves.

Size

The size gives vivacity and dynamics to the work. A.S. Pushkin used iambic tetrameter to convey the rapid flight of the hero’s thoughts and high spirits.

The rhythm of the poem is determined by the alternation of rhymes: the first lines end with a feminine rhyme, then a masculine one is used, and the stanza also ends with a masculine stressed syllable.

Images and epithets

Swiftness, cheerfulness and clarity are the main moods conveyed by the poet. The reader is immediately taken into the situation: “Frost and sun; wonderful day!” Abrupt change the paintings are in the second stanza with a description of the evening blizzard. To describe the elements, the poet used metaphors, transferring human traits to the forces of nature: the blizzard is angry, the darkness is rushing, the moon is turning gloomily yellow.

A striking stroke in the overall picture is the contrast between the moon and the image of the beloved woman, who the day before also “sat sadly.” The author does not even need to convey the girl’s pallor - the reader’s associative thinking immediately draws a parallel with the pallor of the moon.

The third stanza describes a bright, brilliant, fine morning. The snow lies in carpets. The brightness of a winter morning is such that even the black forest is transparent. And the spruce trees shine through the frost.

In the description of home comfort - shining example use of alliteration. The poet uses words rich in voiceless and abrupt voiced consonants. Due to this, when reading, it would seem that one can hear the crackling of firewood in the stove.

And the last lines of the work are filled with special lyrics. The author expresses his special love for his native land with the word “dear”, the forests are “dense”, the fields are “empty” in winter.

The entire poem is permeated with a clear and cheerful feeling of happiness. It contains love for a woman, light rich colors in landscapes, joyful admiration of the nature of his native land.

High words and a bookish style give the lines a special sublimity. Spirituality and special admiration are expressed using the words “Aurora”, “illumination”, “adorable friend”, “bliss”.

Every stanza of the work is permeated with freshness, purity and romance. “Winter Morning” by A.S. Pushkin is a vivid example of the consonance between poetic art and painting.

Romance based on the poems of A. S. Pushkin “Winter Morning”. Performed by Kostya Egorov.

Poem by A.S. Pushkin "Winter Morning"

Frost and sun; wonderful day!
You are still dozing, dear friend!

These lines are familiar to us from primary school. And every time we reread a poem, we never cease to admire the poet’s skill. The author wants to convey a feeling of joy and boundless happiness to the reader.

The poem is full of emotional and evaluative definitions: “day wonderful", "Friend charming", "carpets magnificent", "Friend Cute", "shore Cute" "Life is Beautiful!" - as if the poet wants to say.

In the second stanza, the sound composition changes: the howling of the blizzard helps to hear the sonorant nasals [l] and [n] in combination with vowels. The emotional mood also changes: the “cloudy sky”, the “pale spot” of the moon, “gloomy clouds” cause the heroine’s sadness. Yesterday's gloomy and dreary evening is contrasted with today's joyful morning: “Evening... and today... look out the window...” With the last line of this stanza, the author returns the reader to the present time, into an atmosphere of happiness. But would we be able to appreciate all the beauty of the morning if there were no gloomy, sad evening?

The third stanza is a winter landscape. Russian winter is not rich in colors, but the picture created by the poet is rich in color: it is blue (“under blue skies”), and black (“the transparent forest alone turns black”), and green (“the spruce turns green through the frost”). Everything sparkles and shines outside the window; in the stanza the cognate words “brilliant” and “glitters” are repeated twice:

Under blue skies
Magnificent carpets,
Shining in the sun, there is snow;
The transparent forest alone turns black,
And the spruce turns green through the frost,
And the river under the ice glitters.

The third and fourth stanzas are connected with the word “brilliance”:

The whole room has an amber shine
Illuminated.

Only this shine is no longer cold, winter, but warm, golden brown, amber. In the third stanza no sounds are heard (probably because the hero of the poem is in the house and sees the winter landscape from the window), but in the fourth stanza we clearly hear the crackling sound of a flooded stove. The tautology “crackles” is artistically justified.

However, the third and fourth stanzas are not contrasted. I remember the lines of B. Pasternak, which appeared more than a hundred years after Pushkin's poem:

Chalk, chalk all over the earth
To all limits.
The candle was burning on the table,
The candle was burning.

Here we see that the ominous outside world is contrasted with the bright world of the house. In Pushkin’s poem, everything is equally beautiful: the magnificent picture outside the window, and the cozy home environment:

It's nice to think by the bed.
But you know, shouldn't I tell you to get on the sleigh?
Ban the brown filly?

Life is amazing because there is harmony in it. This idea is expressed already in the first line of the poem. The day is wonderful thanks to the harmonious coexistence of frost and solar warmth and light. A person cannot fully enjoy a joyful sunny morning if there has never been a gloomy, dreary evening in his life; cannot feel the freshness of a frosty day if he has never felt the warmth of a flooded stove, cannot experience the happiness of awakening if he has never been immersed in the bliss of sleep. The imperative verbs (“wake up”, “open”, “appear”, “look”) in the first and second stanzas encourage the reader to feel the fullness of life. Let us feel the harmony of life, and then the cloudy sky will definitely turn into blue skies, flakes of snow, swirled by an angry blizzard, will become “magnificent carpets”, the lonely blackening “transparent forest” will again be dense, and the brown filly will transform into an “impatient horse”.

Poem “Winter Morning” by A.S. Pushkin was written by him during one of the most fruitful creative periods - during his exile in Mikhailovskoye. But on the day when this poetic work was born, the poet was not on his estate - he was visiting friends, the Wulf family, in the Tver province. When starting to read the poem “Winter Morning” by Pushkin, it is worth remembering that it was written in one day, and not a single edit was made to the text. One can only marvel at the talent of the creator, who was able to so quickly embody his own mood, the beauty of Russian nature, and reflections on life in magnificent landscape lyrics. This work is rightfully one of the most famous in Pushkin’s work.

Several important themes are clearly visible in the poem “Winter Morning”. The main and most obvious is the theme of love. In every line one can feel the poet’s tenderness addressed to his beloved, one can feel his reverent attitude to her, the inspiration that gives him the feeling. His beloved is a lovely child of nature, and this is sweet to him and causes deep heartfelt emotions. Another topic is reflections on the birth of a new day, which erases all previous sorrows and makes the world more beautiful and more fun. Despite the fact that the evening was sad, today the sun illuminates everything around, and its light gives the most important thing - hope. In addition, Alexander Sergeevich uses the landscape not just as an artistic device to personify his own thoughts and not only as a symbol of a new beginning - the beautiful Russian nature is also the theme of his poem, which can be downloaded to slowly enjoy each line. And finally, the general idea of the entire work is the unity of man and nature in the general philosophical sense.

The general mood that is felt in the text of Pushkin’s poem “Winter Morning,” which can be read online for free to feel the joy of life, is optimistic, because it tells that any storm is not eternal, and after it, when it comes light stripe, life is even more wonderful. Even the stanzas that talk about evening sadness seem to be full of joyful anticipation of the morning. And when it comes, the joy becomes complete, because everything around, every snowflake, is illuminated winter sun, so beautiful! This is a cheerful and cheerful work - it seems that the poet forgot both about exile and loneliness, admiring his sleeping beloved and native nature. Reading this poem fills the soul positive emotions, reminds us of how beautiful the world is and how important it is to love our native nature.
