Family skiing - the best resorts. The best ski resorts for families with children

In families who are passionate about alpine skiing and snowboarding, as a rule, there are no questions about whether to continue skiing after the arrival of a baby in the family. The answer is usually clear - “continue.” It is with the beginning of the ski season that you can increasingly see parents with small children at domestic and European ski resorts.

Holidays in the mountains are, of course, fresh air, picturesque landscapes and comfortable hotels, however, when planning such a trip with the whole family, you should especially carefully prepare for the trip, and especially if this is the child’s first foray into the mountains.

Choosing a ski resort

In terms of organizing children's and family entertainment, Europe is clearly the leader today. The most popular countries among family athletes remain Austria and Finland. Austria offers accommodation in comfortable “kinder hotels”, and also delights tourists with specialized children's ski schools and amusement parks for the little ones. Those parents who are used to skiing only at elite Swiss resorts can continue to enjoy skiing in St. Moritz with their kids. Local resorts have excellent hotels that provide babysitting services, and the slopes are equipped with special slopes for children. Also, most resorts have children's instructors.

As for Finland, tours here cost an order of magnitude less, but you also need to remember that the Finnish climate is not suitable for everyone - severe frosts often occur here, and daylight in the winter months lasts only a few hours. The Norwegian ski resort Trollia, which accepts children from three months of age, is no less popular. While parents conquer the slopes, children play in the fresh air or in specially equipped rooms under the supervision of professional teachers. In addition to these countries, you can also pay attention to the resorts of Italy, France and Sweden, designed for holidays with small children.

Family skiing in Switzerland and Austria

One of the most popular children's ski resorts in Switzerland is Villars, which today operates as many as three kindergartens, including for children under one year old. To those who with youth wants to teach his child to ski, he will probably like the children's ski school that accepts children with three years. By the way, children under five years old can ride here for free, and those older can ride for 118 euros (about 5,906 rubles) for five years.

In total, more than 220 kilometers of ski slopes are available in the city, more than half of which are designed for beginners and children, so you can go here even with someone who has only seen skis in a picture. Among the pleasant features of this place are convenient paths for walking with strollers, and children's routes for cross-country skiing or snowmobiling. There are also nannies working here and a huge collection of various toys is available for children. A pleasant bonus for vacationers here will be the thermal resort Les Bains de Lavey with hot springs, located 20 kilometers from Villars. By the way, sunny Villars was created from the very beginning as a family resort, and for special attention to young guests it was awarded a special Families Welcome certificate, which is issued by the Swiss Tourism Federation.

Those who dare to rush to the mountains with one and a half year old children can visit another Swiss resort in Leukerbad. Local kindergartens welcome the youngest guests, and ski schools promise that even children as young as two years old will be able to start skiing. Passes for children under eight years old at this resort are free, and for children under 18 years old they cost 120 euros (about 6,006 rubles) for five days. Leukerbad is the largest ski resort in all of Switzerland, and it is located in the place where time immemorial there were ancient Roman baths. Remembering the history of these places, the resort administration decided to include a visit to the hot springs in the price of the ski pass. In total there are three dozen outdoor and indoor pools, as well as several pools for small children. As for the resort infrastructure in Leukerbad, it has everything you need for a cozy and carefree family vacation. In addition to high-quality ski slopes, there are play areas for children, restaurants offer carefully thought-out children's menus, the rooms have cribs and toys, a babysitting service is provided, and special family rates are available for families with children. Especially for children aged three years and older, the resort has a special Erli area with gentle slopes, a playground, children's lifts and Russian-speaking instructors.

The Austrian town of Serfaus is very similar to the mentioned resorts, where you can go even with newborn babies - local kindergartens accept children of any age. As for the cost of ski passes, traditionally children under eight years old can conquer the slopes for free, while for children from eight to 18 years old the cost of a five-day pass is 107 euros (about 5,356 rubles).

This Tyrolean resort differs from its neighbors in that it has the shortest metro in the world, with a length of only 1,208 meters. This subway includes only one line with four stations. Of course, people come here not for the metro, but for the amazing atmosphere of a huge entertainment center for children. Serfaus is a pedestrian city where you can safely let your child go outside without fear for his safety. The resort has several play areas and is constantly playing animation program, there is a ski school and special children's restaurants. By the way, the ski lift to the children's playground is equipped in such a way that strollers can also be loaded onto it. As for the trails, many of them are especially wide and flat - oriented for children. There are also children's parkours for snowmobiling, a special snow locomotive, and springboards and slides for young freeriders.

Italy or France?

The ski resorts of Italy will be an excellent alternative to Austria and Switzerland. The place Madonna di Campiglio is perfect for relaxing with children. There are also kindergartens and ski schools for children from three years old, and a ski pass for children from eight years old costs 88 euros (about 4,405 rubles) for five days.

This resort is located among the Dolomites, 200 kilometers from Milan and invites both confident skiers and beginner athletes with children. Children who already have skiing experience will enjoy the local snow parks and wide slopes, while little ones should go to the educational ski areas with funny cartoon characters. In addition, children's playgrounds with magical transporter carpets and fairy-tale holiday houses are scattered throughout this resort. A pleasant bonus for parents will be more than 30 restaurants and about 25 bars, which can be enjoyed in the evening, leaving the baby with a nanny for a couple of hours.

During the Russian winter holidays, the Italian ski resort of Kronplatz has a special offer, Dolomiti Super Kids, offering discounts on ski passes and other resort services. This family resort in South Tyrol in Italy unites 14 villages and towns located at altitudes from 780 to 1,650 meters. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay, both with kids and teenagers who are already bored on the training trails for little ones. There is a ski park for teenagers, while for smaller children there is a Kids Safety Park, where kids will learn about safety rules on the slopes, and will also be able to ride a sled, ride a carousel, take part in children's shows and eat in a children's restaurant.

The atmosphere of a living fairy tale reigns in the French ski town of Morzine. You can come here with children over the age of one year - there are nurseries for them, and for children from three years old there are ski schools. Morzine is located 35 kilometers from Geneva on the border of France and Switzerland. This place has preserved the amazing atmosphere of good old Europe, as it is shown in films. You can’t deny yourself the pleasure of going on a walking tour to look at the city square, the old market, a stone bridge across the river... At the same time, Morin remains a full-fledged town with all the modern infrastructure - cinemas, restaurants, skating rinks and slopes.

Morzine is suitable not only for fearless adults who dare to conquer the almost vertical Swiss Wall route, but also for little athletes. After all, it was at this resort that they began to actively teach even the little ones to ski with the help of a special invention, Babysnow. This device is a combination of a scooter and a large ski with a steering wheel, allowing children not only to learn how to ride, but also to enjoy it. Next door to Morzine is the resort of Avoriaz, which will appeal more to active teenagers - there are many steep slopes and freestyle parks.

Mountains next door

In order to enjoy a holiday at a ski resort with the whole family, you don’t have to travel far, but go to the nearest countries - Finland, Sweden or Norway.

In Finland, beloved by residents of the Russian North-West, today there is a delightful family resort called Levi, where you can relax even with babies. There are both nannies for the youngest guests and ski schools with Russian-speaking instructors for children from three years old. A five-day ski pass for children over 12 years old will cost 120 euros (about 6,006 rubles).

Levi Resort is located in magical Lapland, but thanks to the proximity of the Gulf Stream, it has a very mild and pleasant climate. It is especially beautiful in these places on Christmas Eve and during the New Year holidays. In addition, just an hour's drive from the resort is the residence of Santa Claus, which is a must-see with children. An opportunity to admire the northern lights will also be an unusual gift. In order not to make a mistake with the dates, it is better to check the weather forecast in advance. As for the infrastructure, there are both classic slopes and gentler and wider slopes for children. In addition to them, the resort has a children's area, schools and nurseries with professional teachers. For those who want a change of scenery, a water park with slides and thermal pools is available at the same resort, deer farm, ice gallery, snow town and other entertainment areas. You can get here from St. Petersburg by car in just 12 hours.

After a holiday in Finland, you can go to neighboring Sweden to the Åre ski resort. In addition to a kindergarten and a ski school, children can spend time riding reindeer sleds here. Also worth a visit is the snow-covered hut deep in the Carins Stuga forest, which can only be reached by snowmobile or sleigh and where guests are treated to salmon or game dishes cooked over an open fire.

This resort is suitable for those sports families in which children have not yet mastered the most difficult slopes - in Åre the children will have a place to hone their skills. Local school offers 15 levels of classes, differing in the degree of load and level of preparation of students. Especially for children, Åre has a playground and a Teddy Bear trail that runs through a beautiful fairy-tale forest.

Fans of paragliding and snowkiting can be recommended to go to the Norwegian resort of Geilo. In addition to extreme sports, the resort also offers opportunities for family recreation. There are easy trails for children, and some of them are illuminated in the evening, allowing you to ride under starry sky. A wide variety of outdoor activities are also offered for children: cross-country ski orienteering, treasure hunting in the forest, a master class on baking snow cakes and building snowmen, etc. Children especially like the air cushion on which they can jump directly on skis. However, when going on vacation to Norway, you should be prepared for the fact that holidays here are a little more expensive than in other Scandinavian countries.

Hello, friends!

Holidays at winter resorts, and even with children, are a very specific holiday. And not everyone will decide to embark on this somewhat extreme journey. And yet, where can you go with your children? winter holidays to go skiing and snowboarding?

To begin with, let’s limit the range of ski resorts planned for consideration geographically. We will not talk about European and overseas resorts, because we have already talked about some of them, and also because now a trip to foreign resorts is an expensive pleasure. So today all the attention is on Russian ski resorts, the most famous of which are located in the Caucasus and the Urals.

Having analyzed the ski market in the world, Swiss researcher Laurent Vanat, speaking about Russia, noted that in our country today there are 170 ski resorts. The figure is, of course, impressive. Although in terms of the popularity of ski holidays (according to the same report), we are far behind, for example, Switzerland, Austria and France.

The Olympics in Sochi changed everything in better side. The results of last year's and current bookings for January 2016 showed that ski resorts are in highest demand Krasnodar region, followed in popularity by the resorts of Dombay, the Urals, the Elbrus region and Siberia.

Experts note that not only the number of tourists who come to the snow-capped mountains has increased, but also their composition. Today, even those who have never skied before go to the mountains. And among them there are a lot of families with children and school groups.

We will talk about the most popular and most family-friendly Russian ski resorts.

Ski resorts of the Krasnodar region

The most famous mountain resort in the South of Russia, Krasnaya Polyana, still leads in popularity. This is a universal resort, not much inferior to European ones, where everyone will find what they need.

It is unique in its location: 42 kilometers from the Black Sea and 35 kilometers from Adler. While staying in a hotel on the seashore, you can ski on the snow-covered slopes of Krasnaya Polyana from December to May.

Essentially these are “our Alps”, with new hotels high class, with modern ski lifts and sports equipment rental, excellent quality ski slopes and related infrastructure.

Other advantages are convenient transfer (close distance of the resort from the airport), easy access from any region (short flights, the ability to replace them by train or bus), a large number of regular flights from any city in Russia.

Another one opened in December bus route, which delivers vacationers from the airport to hotels in Krasnaya Polyana once an hour. The bus schedule is based on the departure and arrival times of planes. Travel for an adult passenger is 400 rubles, a child ticket (under 12 years old) is 200 rubles, children under 2 years old can travel for free. You can buy bus tickets online on the website of the Unified Transport Directorate.

In order not to get confused in geography and names, it is worth clarifying that Krasnaya Polyana is usually called the entire mountain cluster (this is a group of sports facilities for the Olympics, located near the village of Krasnaya Polyana). Although in fact, Krasnaya Polyana is just one of the villages. The second is Esto-Sadok, and on this territory there are three resorts:

  • Rosa Khutor – the largest, most ambitious and youngest resort with a variety of ski slopes for every taste, with inexpensive apartments and luxury hotels(read more about the Rosa Khutor ski resort).
  • Gorki City +540 and +960 (objects are located on two levels). This resort is worth visiting for those for whom skiing is not the main objective relaxation, but just a pleasant addition to a variety of entertainment and shopping. At +540 there are many retail outlets and places for entertainment. Gorki Gorod +960 is good for a relaxing holiday for the respectable public, accustomed to relaxing in comfort on the hotel premises. Staying at one of these resorts does not exclude the use of the services of another hotel.
  • Gazprom - a resort for the elite public. Suitable for beginners due to convenient trails - wide and flat (learn more about).

In the ranking of the most attractive prices for family holidays at European ski resorts, compiled by the Internet portal TripAdvisor, Krasnaya Polyana took second place this year (after the Bulgarian Bansko).

However, in Russia Krasnaya Polyana is considered the most expensive resort. A tourist will pay an average of 4,600 rubles per day for accommodation in a budget hotel, lunch in a restaurant and a day ski pass. A family of four will spend an average of 159,000 rubles for a week’s stay at a hotel with dinners and drinks, ski passes, lessons with a trainer and equipment rental.

If we look in detail at what the price for a vacation is made up of, it is quite obvious that travel costs take up about a third of the budget. So a flight from Moscow to Krasnaya Polyana and back will cost 7,000 rubles. And, for example, a flight from Novosibirsk will cost 21 thousand rubles.

Other expenses:

  • Transfer from the airport by Lastochka – 700 rubles
  • Accommodation in a standard room with breakfast – 6 thousand rubles per day
  • Meals – 1500 rubles per day

Dombay, which is also called the “Pearl of the Caucasus,” is located in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic on the territory of the Teberda Nature Reserve.

The resort is large, the pistes are different (although their quality, if compared, say, with Krasnaya Polyana or Sheregesh, is somewhat worse). For inexperienced skiers, the gentle and wide slopes on Mount Mussa-Achitara are well suited. The winter season opens in December and lasts until May. Here you can ski, snowmobile and sled.

The resort's hotels are conveniently located next to the cable car and ski lifts at Dombayskaya Polyana.

Siberia and Far East

These are the ski resorts of Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Baikal, Kemerovo, Altai, Khakassia and Far East. It’s easy to guess that the cheapest holiday here will be for residents of Siberia and nearby cities due to low travel costs.

Sheregesh

Perhaps in our country this is the most popular resort after Krasnaya Polyana with the best trails and good infrastructure. It is located between the Sayans and Altai (south of the Kemerovo region, 200 kilometers from Novokuznetsk) in places with beautiful name Mountain Shoria.

In terms of complexity and number of trails (15), lifts (17), rental points, restaurants and cafes, this resort can compete with Krasnaya Polyana. It is loved for its fluffy snow and the opportunity to ski from November to May.

Mostly tourists ski on the slopes of Green Mountain. Beginners and children are advised to start their training on the training trails and gentle slopes of Mount Medvedzhonok. For older children there is a ski school, and for children there is a Tumbler ski nursery. In addition, there is a snow park, an indoor skating rink, underground parking and ski equipment rental.

The renovated Bear Cub complex has recently opened with a hotel (55 rooms), a mini-zoo and a cross-country ski track.

It is also possible for tourists not to buy a single ski pass, but to use a one-time lift (the cost of a ski pass per lift this season will be 40-150 rubles), or you can buy a ski pass from operators (600-1100 rubles per day). This is much cheaper than at the Rosa Khutor resort, where the cost of a one-time lift is from 700 rubles, a day ski pass is 1950 rubles.

Belokurikha

This resort is located on the slopes of the Cherginsky ridge, 236 kilometers from Barnaul and 65 kilometers from Biysk. Consists of 6 trails with a total length of 25 kilometers and 5 lifts. Some of the slopes are illuminated. Season – from December to March.

It is not simple ski center winter holiday, but also a balneological resort with an excellent healing component. The Blagodat sports complex, which is part of the health resort, is the largest in the region.

To get to the resort from Moscow, you need to fly to Barnaul (travel time is a little over 4 hours), then by bus (about 5 hours), minibus or taxi (about 3-3.5 hours) to Belokurikha. One tourist will need 2,700 rubles per day for a vacation.

Mount Sobolinaya

From Mount Sobolina there are views of the most deep lake planets. There are trails of varying difficulty: both super difficult and tubing for children. The peculiarity of this resort is its mild climate even in winter.

With accommodation, everything is simple: right next to the ski lift there are hotels, for example, Grand Baikal 3*, but it is cheaper to rent an apartment (from 500 rubles per day per person).

A one-day vacation with budget accommodation, lunch in a cafe or restaurant and a ski pass will cost one tourist from 3,600 rubles.

The most convenient way to get to Irkutsk (150 km) or Ulan-Ude is by plane. Then take a taxi, train, train or bus to Baikalsk.

Northwestern region of Russia and Volga region

In the European part of our country, of course, it is not so easy to find high mountains. The terrain is predominantly flat with little elevation change. But for beginners who want to master skiing skills, as well as for those who love cross-country skiing, this is the place. You can find such places to relax near your home.

Ski resort "Bolshoi Vudyavr"

Among the sports complexes located in Murmansk region beyond the Arctic Circle in the Khibiny Mountains, this new, well-equipped high-mountain resort stands out. It is located 12 km from Kirovsk. The ski season is long, but best time– March, because it is warmer at this time. During the winter holidays and New Year It is very cold in here.

The trails at this resort are designed for different skill levels. There is a children's slope for the little ones and a training slope. Classes with an instructor are organized.

Accommodation in hotels in Kirovsk. You can also rent an apartment inexpensively in the city (from 500 rubles per day).

There are good slopes with fairly wide ski runs, modern ski lifts, ski equipment rental, a children's training slope with a playground, two baby lifts for snow tubing, a games room and two outdoor skating rinks.

A day's rest for one person with equipment rental will cost 3-4 thousand rubles.

By the way, in one of the previous articles I already wrote about.

Ski resort "Igora"

The Igora ski complex is an excellent opportunity for St. Petersburg residents to relax in a comfortable year-round resort, which is located 54 kilometers from St. Petersburg. There are 7 trails of varying difficulty: for both beginners and well-trained skiers, an extreme park, a training slope, a snow tubing track, an Ice Palace and a SPA complex.

A day of skiing with equipment rental will cost one person 4-5 thousand rubles.

Choose a resort where there are more blue and green trails, where there are simple gentle slopes, experienced children's instructors, schools for teaching children and beginners, "paddling pools", mini-clubs for kids, all sorts of winter fun, such as sledding and tubing.

The peculiarity of a holiday at a ski resort is that you have to spend money on. Winter sportswear for an adult (jacket, sports pants, shoes, gloves) can cost an average of 10-12 thousand rubles. And if you buy skis, poles and other ski equipment, the cost of equipment will increase significantly. Therefore, if you plan to visit ski resorts once a year or even less often, it is better to rent equipment on the spot. Bye bye…

Bulgarian ski resort Borovets was already widely known in the 19th century, and today it has modern infrastructure and wonderful trails. Here you can learn many winter sports. Ski schools offer classes with Russian-speaking instructors, which, you see, is especially important when we're talking about about children. Lessons can be either individual or group. In Borovets there are slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers - i.e. Parents who have sent their child to study will not be bored either.
Training in ski schools in Borovets is conducted for 4 hours a day, where the course can last from 3 to 13 days. Snowboarding will also be taught, but classes will last only 2 hours a day. True, only those children who have already reached the age of 5 will be accepted into schools - in these places special ski gardens are open for them. And those who are younger will have to be rented out to animator teachers for the duration of the ride.

In Slovakia in the High Tatras and Poprad, there are ski schools for children and adults, and you can study here individually or in groups, and even with the whole family (if none of you have ever skied before). As in many other mountain resorts, it is not at all necessary to take your own equipment with you - the rental price, although significant, but after the introduction of tariffs for ski transportation by airlines no longer seems so high.
A pleasant surprise for beginners (both adults and children) will be a visit to Aqua City - a large thermal complex where you can relax with pleasure and health benefits after a day spent on the slopes of the mountains.

Close to the Finnish ski resort Luosto (in Lapland). It is located in the Finnish national park Pyhätunturi, at the foot of the Luosto fell. For children there is a special ski school with a “sparrow” hill, on which you can ski and sled.
You can also go with children to another Lapland resort - Levi. Among its well-groomed and illuminated pistes there are also roads for beginner skiers. A ski school with Russian-speaking instructors, some of whom specialize in teaching children, will help kids get on the skis. For beginners, there are 4 free training lifts in the center of the mountain resort. For children 4-6 years old, individual lessons are offered, from 6 years old - group lessons. If the child is not interested in skiing, you can leave the children under supervision in an outdoor children's playground or place them in the care of a Russian-speaking nanny.
In addition to skiing activities, these Finnish mountain resorts also have water recreation complexes and other entertainment for children - from a trip to the village of Santa Claus and dog and reindeer sledding to mining for amethysts on the Luosto hill.

To Austria fly a little further, but here there are real mountains - the Alps, and the level of comfort is completely different. For example, in Bad Hofgastein, beginner skiers will be taken by bus to Angertal, where ski schools and easier trails are open. The ski school accepts children from 4 years old and asks them almost like adults - 4 hours of training every day, with a training course of 6 days.
Not far from Salzburg, in Obertauern, children will be taught to ski, focusing on the play component of the technique. In fact, how much can you study!?! Children are taught at school all year long - so you can relax during the holidays! At this mountain resort, learning to ski will turn into an exciting journey for children, full of varied and pleasant discoveries. Children are collected in small groups - up to 4 people and are taken to classes from the age of 3. There are groups for older children and teenagers, both good level skating and complete beginners.

At French ski resorts, traditionally, children pay a lot of attention. For example, at the EFS Arc 1600 ski school, a children's club located at the La Cachette hotel, accepts children from 4 months to 12 years. This is for those who want to leave the children and go skiing on their own, but from the age of 4, children go on walks and ski lessons with instructors, and there are suitable skis, boots and suits for everyone here. For older children, classes become more serious, and the mini-club from 4 to 7 is replaced by a children's club, where children from 7 to 12 years old are taught to ride.

55% of vacationers at ski resorts are families with children under 18 years of age. It is this category of tourists that brings the lion’s share of income to the treasury. Wanting to attract customers, winter resorts create children's ski schools and kindergartens, where professional instructors teach skiing skills to young guests. Much attention is paid to entertainment infrastructure for all family members. Depending on the age of young skiers, the resorts offer discounts and special prices amounting to 30-50% of the full cost of an adult ski pass.

It is characteristic that advertising does not exaggerate. Tourists visiting the Austrian Alps in winter are satisfied with literally everything. And for those families with children who are just about to discover the ski resorts of Austria, Kidpassage has prepared an overview of the regions where the best conditions for family holidays have been created.

Ski resorts in Austria

How would you feel about skating on the frozen mountain lake Moorsee? There is a health center and an indoor swimming pool in Zell am See.

But the main type of recreation in the region remains alpine skiing. Beginners will be able to master the wisdom of skating in any of 10 professional schools.

Some of them have play parks for children's education. The region has approximately equal numbers of easy and challenging pistes, and experienced skiers can indulge themselves in ski safaris - skiing down 120 km of linked pistes.

It will not be cheap, but at the same time it is difficult to find playrooms and clubs for children and animation there. But children's entertainment is easy to organize in and. If a calm and budget holiday, it is better to stay in Kirchberg.

Ski Circus (Saalbach - Hinterglemm - Leogang)

Austria's wonderful ski resorts for children are part of the Ski Circus region. In the vast ski area, both beginners and professionals will find suitable trails.

The great thing about Ski Circus is that the trails are interconnected, and one day you'll be able to leave the training area and go around the entire Ski Circus "arena" using only the blue trails.

Ski schools help put children on skis, and their equipment and design can only be envied.

Tourist infrastructure is well developed in all cities of the region. When choosing a resort, we recommend focusing on the age of children. It will be convenient for schoolchildren in lively Saalbach.

They provide a full range of services to families with children. And Leogang will delight those tourists who like to get acquainted with folk traditions other countries.

Stubai

The Stubai region boasts the longest skiing season - from October to June. The ski area is located on a glacier, which ensures excellent snow cover for a long time.

The German ski guide ADAC traditionally includes Stubai in its list of the best resorts for family holidays. And this is logical. Firstly, even beginner skiers can find their way on the wide and clearly marked slopes.

Secondly, children are helped to gnaw on the granite of ski science, and kindergarten teachers work with the kids while parents enjoy skiing.

Thirdly, the Daunferner track is equipped especially for family skiing. Fourthly, the infrastructure of the region’s resorts contributes to a good rest, and the apre-ski program pleases with its variety.

Finally, Stubai is just 20 minutes from Innsbruck - use our guide to see the city's most interesting museums.

Bramberg - Neukirchen (Wildkogel Arena)

Parents who are avid skiers can ski all day, leaving their children at a ski school or kindergarten. But the children's instructors work so well that the children do not stay at school, but go out onto real tracks.

There are 4 special ski areas for little skiers. And another highlight of Wildkogel Arena - world's longest toboggan run.

Here even adults remember how fun it is to go down the hill on a sled. The resort area has a child-friendly infrastructure, but large quantity there is no entertainment here.

However, some hotels offer a children's program, as well as other services for families with children.

Finally, let us remember the apt saying: “Alpine skiing is not happiness, but it serves as a good substitute for it.” Enjoy skiing with the whole family on the wonderful trails of the Austrian Alps!
