Russian women are the most beautiful in the world. The most beautiful girls in Russia (Photo). Russian woman cooks well

Often we hear that Russian women in the world are considered the most beautiful. Is this a common myth, or is it really true? And how did this opinion come about?

Appearance Features

Most Russian women have the so-called Slavic type of appearance - they have blond hair and skin, gray, blue or green eyes, regular features. They are proportionally built and for the most part have a stately figure. They are very feminine, and on a subconscious level are perceived by men as the most suitable partners for creating a family and having children.

“I think that Slavic facial features are the most feminine in the world,” says Briton Craig Graham. - The German ones seem a little rough to me, which is not particularly suitable for women. I would call Russian women the most beautiful.

At the same time, the appearance of Russian women is not limited to one type of blue-eyed blondes with milky skin. Here you can meet swarthy, dark-eyed, burning brunettes, and red-haired beauties with freckles. After all, due to historical vicissitudes, the blood of different peoples flows in Russians.

But, for example, in Spain or Italy more women one type. And southern men can be attracted precisely by the breadth of choice, as well as the unusual, novelty of the northern type.

Tried the Inquisition

There is another circumstance that is mentioned by those who claim the primacy of Russian beauties. In the Middle Ages, the Western European Inquisition actively hunted witches, and the most attractive women and girls, sometimes even girls.

The beauties were jealous. Others believed that beauty was bestowed upon them only by the devil. As a result, many beautiful women in Western Europe ended their days at the stake or the gallows, and the "beauty genes" were partially exterminated.

In Russia, the witch hunt did not have such a scope. Beauties were rarely persecuted, so the "attractiveness gene pool" was preserved.

Russian women try

IN Western countries feminist sentiment prevails. The fair sex, trying to achieve gender equality with men, is often afraid to demonstrate their femininity and, on the contrary, dress and comb their hair in an accentuated carelessness, do not use makeup, except for special cases and situations when it is required by the regulations.

As for the Russians, many of them even go out to the neighboring supermarket in full dress - in a beautiful outfit, high-heeled shoes and made up. And what can we say about work and trips to different public places.

As sociological surveys have shown, 43% of our women strive to look beautiful "for themselves", 27% - for their half, and 65% - for work colleagues.

Swede Jonas Lindström states that "Russians love themselves very much, therefore they are always smartly and beautifully dressed, with makeup."

And a Frenchman named Frederick says: “The Russians are very bothered about appearance... We also have such ladies, but there are fewer of them. The dissonance is that from people who are so preoccupied with their image, you usually expect coldness, closeness, selfishness, narcissism. But in the case of the Russians, every time you realize that you were wrong: they turn out to be sincere, warm and open.”

Not only appearance

Foreign men express different and not always flattering opinions about Russian women. For example, they are called too rational, prudent, criticized for their love for bright outfits ... But everyone agrees on one thing: Russian ladies are really very beautiful!

Here is the view of Burak Topcu from Turkey: “Russian women are the most beautiful women in the world. They have some perfect beauty: some can be gentle and sweet, others - sexy and sensual.

“Russian women are very feminine and luxurious,” Frenchman Justine D'Ore gives this assessment to our compatriots. - You want to carry such women in your arms, dress in furs and fulfill any of their desires. Unlike French women, they are more liberated in relationships, often take the first steps themselves, touchy, but quick-witted, fun and easy with them, every day is like a holiday. True, this holiday does not last long, Russians are fickle.”

In a foreign country, Russian women can be accurately identified in the crowd. “Even without heels, a Russian woman will pass you by so that her neck will turn after her,” the Spaniards and Italians admire. And the point here is not only in a beautiful appearance, but also in how a woman holds herself, how she moves. In all this there is a certain unique charm that amazes and delights men.

It is difficult for foreigners who had Russian girlfriends and wives to forget them. Europeans even say: “After Russians, they don’t return to foreigners.”

“The beauty of a Russian woman is the incalculable capital of the country,” - this is how the French author Alexander Lats once spoke about our compatriots. Indeed, the charming appearance of Russian women has always been the standard of excellence in many Western countries. Has the perception of foreigners about our women changed today?

The most beautiful

As before, the Slavic appearance is very popular in the West, so the vast majority of foreigners call Russian girls the most beautiful and desirable in the world. However, ethnicity is far from the dominant feature that distinguishes beauties from Russia. The fact is that in our country it is customary to take care of oneself, while feminism common in Europe or America dictates a careless attitude towards one's appearance. There, a beautiful and well-groomed woman is perceived as a “stupid woman”, but this does not apply to Russian women. They successfully combine a sharp mind and self-care, which distinguishes Russian women from others.

Russian woman cooks well

According to many foreigners, every Russian woman is a good housewife who perfectly knows how to cook borscht. If she does not know the recipe for this "mysterious dish", then she is not from Russia at all, but simply pretends to be. This stereotype is especially popular among Americans who have to put up with their significant other's lack of cooking skills. The reason for this is the popularity of fast food, which needs only a warm-up.

A victim of patriarchy

Again, a huge role was played by feminism, widespread in the West, in the formation of this stereotype. There, the attitude towards women and the position of the woman herself is very different from the Russian reality. Emancipation in the West implies that holding the door, giving up your seat, helping with heavy bags, and paying for a girl is a sign of bad taste. Moreover, it can offend a woman and result in a serious misunderstanding. Looking at the order in Russia, where it is customary to “look after the weaker sex”, foreigners are perplexed why our compatriots have not yet declared a revolution and overthrown “male chauvinism”. However, Russian women are in no hurry to follow Western trends, encouraging men to care.

The woman is the head of the family

Many foreigners, especially men who happened to long time live in Russia and have the opportunity to observe the way of a simple Russian family, they say - "a hidden matriarchy reigns in Russia." This paradigm is correct, but only partly. It is on the woman in most cases that the whole economy rests. Even where a man has reached a dead end, a woman still has to find a way out - after all, it is she who is responsible for the house and family. But the last word still often remains for the stronger sex.

Russian women lack self-confidence

Foreign HR experts note that Russian women, being ideal candidates, will always apply for a lower vacancy, and they will still need to be convinced that they deserve higher positions. However, this statement has no basis in itself, reminiscent of the favorite sexist thesis: "girls should not drive a car." Why? Because "everyone says so".

Russian woman is pragmatic

This stereotype spread in the West in the 90s, when thousands of beauties from the countries of the former Soviet Union rushed across the opened borders to look for a beautiful and stable life abroad. It is very difficult to survive in another country without entrepreneurial spirit and a punchy character, so the attitude towards Russian women has developed accordingly. Even today, many of our compatriots, if they have a visa at the border, have to explain to officers that the main purpose of the trip is business or tourism, and not the search for a second half.

Sotnikova often changes her image - she is either a blonde, or a brunette, or with long, or with short hair. In an interview, she looks like a sensible young lady: she opened a beauty salon and talks about the prospects for a family business.

How we did the research

Unlike gloss, we didn't want to impose any beauty standards on our respondents. It was important for us to see life in all its nuances and diversity. The search for "beauties in general" had to be abandoned - it would have been impossible. Therefore, we decided to explore beauty using the examples of women who are supposedly known by many in our country, that is, to one degree or another, famous heroines - actresses, athletes, public figures, leading, scientists and entrepreneurs. People can not only know them from stories and photographs, but also highly appreciate their actions, performances, work, skill, charm.

Expert survey

At the first stage, we attracted 30 "beauty experts": stylists, photographers, directors, artists, designers, famous hairdressers, sports writers, and even a writer and official. We asked them the following questions:

1. Name three women who, in your opinion, are a model of beauty for modern Russia.

2. Comment on your choice: what exactly makes them beautiful?

3. What is beauty in terms of your profession and experience?

4. How is the ideal of beauty changing in Russia, is it different modern ideal from the ideal of past eras?

The result was a list of about 100 beauties. After I had to weed out not very famous heroines and add obvious famous beauties proposed by our editors, the list includes 89 women.

Mass voting

Based on the expert list, we made up a form for online voting and posted it on the website and rusrep.ru. During the week, 240,000 readers took part in the project. A stunning discovery for us was how the prosecutor's uniform works magically when worn on beautiful women; it was also found that super popular bloggers can mobilize their supporters in a day and storm the top poll positions, that a beautiful librarian from Vladivostok, thanks to the support of her region, can become more popular than leading actresses, and that women who are known for their good deeds- say, saving children - become even more beautiful in the eyes of the public.

Sociological survey

RR, together with the Research Center of the SuperJob.Ru portal, conducted a survey in which respondents could choose five beauties. Interestingly, even in this case, Natalya Poklonskaya was in a high fourth place (and among men - in first). In the general survey, the first place was given to the famous film actress Agniya Ditkovskite.
