OJSC “TIZOL” is the oldest Russian company, originating from the plant of mineral wool products opened in 1949 for the insulation of nuclear industry facilities. Over the past decades, the enterprise has been modernized several times, and from 2006 to 2008, a complete reconstruction of mineral wool production was carried out. Two were put into operation modern lines, allowing the production of up to 60 thousand tons of universal non-combustible thermal insulation of a new generation.

The company owns its own basalt deposit, which allows it to reduce the cost of the final product. For the production of mineral wool, basalt porphyrites are used without mineral and synthetic additives. Under the TIZOL trademark, high-quality thermal insulation mats, soft boards, rolled materials and cardboard are supplied to the market, intended for thermal insulation of building structures, pipelines and various other materials. industrial equipment.

Range of thermal insulation products of JSC TIZOL

Tizol - modern insulation

Euro TIZOL products belong to construction insulation and are intended for use in modern construction of civil housing and industrial buildings. TIZOL boards are a high-quality product and meet modern requirements construction SNIPs.

The problems solved with the help of TIZOL products could be different, this is an increase in the thermal resistance of the structure being built, and they can also act as fire protection

Euro Tizol plant

The plant is located in Nizhnyaya Tura, 230 kilometers north of Yekaterinburg. OJSC TIZOL is a manufacturer of non-flammable thermal insulation made from basalt insulation. Euro TIZOL insulation in Yekaterinburg is implemented through a distribution network. Branded products of basalt insulation in slabs are called Euro TIZOL (EURO TIZOL)

TIZOL is a very popular brand of thermal insulation in Yekaterinburg. The raw materials for the production of stone wool are rocks, so the insulation produced by TIZOL OJSC combines the strength and durability of stone and the insulating properties of wool. This material has excellent thermal and sound insulation properties.

Tizol basalt insulation is one of the few industrial products that can reduce human impact on the environment. It significantly reduces human energy consumption for all aspects of his life related to both the needs of industrial processes and creation comfortable conditions in the home, saving heat or cold. During the operation of TIZOL insulation, produced in Nizhnyaya Tura, energy is saved 100 times more than spent on its production, processing, transportation and installation. For the production of thermal insulation materials of the TIZOL brand, we use natural materials.

Vapor permeability of Euro TIZOL slabs

The high vapor permeability of mineral wool products of the Euro TIZOL brand guarantees, with proper construction of the enclosing structure, the unimpeded removal of condensate and water vapor of domestic origin into the atmosphere, while ensuring the so-called “breathing of the wall.”

Physical and mechanical resistance of Euro TIZOL insulation

During the production of Euro TIZOL boards, the fibers of the material are randomly reoriented, thereby achieving spatial rigidity of the basalt fiber product, which, together with the polymer binder added to the material, gives the material excellent strength characteristics that do not change over a long time. The offered range of products includes both lightweight (for non-load-bearing structures) grades and rigid slabs that can withstand loads. Euro TIZOL boards have sufficient strength characteristics that allow them to be used in almost all modern building insulation and sound insulation systems, and provide high quality thermal protection and durability of these systems. All brands have technical certificates and certificates confirming the high quality of products. Hydrophobic qualities of TIZOL insulation

There is a distinction between the thermal conductivity of a material in a dry state and at different conditions operation, depending on the moisture state of the material. The more saturated the material is with moisture, the greater the thermal conductivity coefficient it has. This is due to the fact that water has a thermal conductivity 25 times greater than air, and also increases the contact area between the fibers of the material. Materials from the TIZOL OJSC plant undergo mandatory treatment with water-repellent additives, which, coupled with the non-hygroscopic structure of the material made from molten rocks, gives the Euro TIZOL insulation excellent water-repellent qualities, as well as low water absorption. Thus, the excellent hydrophobic qualities of TIZOL insulation have a beneficial effect on the low thermal conductivity coefficient of the material.

Durability of TIZOL insulation

As shown by global experience in the use of mineral wool insulation, as well as research by our and foreign specialists, the service life of the product with proper use in compliance with all recommendations for use is at least 70 years, and the fiber itself, which is essentially a stone drawn into threads, has a durability comparable to the starting product is basalt. Distinctive feature stone and products based on it are resistant to aggressive environments, rotting and the harmful effects of time. Natural materials are used to produce thermal insulation materials of the TIZOL brand: basalt is the most common erupted magmatic rock on Earth rock and limestone is a widespread sedimentary rock composed primarily of calcite or the calcite skeletal remains of organisms.

The Euro TIZOL line of thermal insulation belongs to the class of basalt insulation. Corporate color Orange-black.

Mineral wool Tizol (basalt wool) is a thermal insulation material of the latest generation. Structurally, it is a fibrous interpretation of an inorganic substance, which is basalt stones. The fibers are of different diameters and are held together with special phenol-based synthetic sealants. The material is available in the form of slabs, rolls or mats. Basalt rocks, which are a product of an eruption, are used in the production process for making cotton wool. volcanic lava. Long-cooled and petrified blocks are a source of raw materials. In addition to basalt, rocks of similar structure are also used in production. They consist of sedimentary material in the form of clay, dolomite, marl and igneous rock in the form of basalt, syenite granite or diabase. Slag stone wool is made from residues (slag waste) of metallurgy.

Features of the production process

The production of a heat insulator consists of complex technological stages. The following work is performed on modern equipment equipped with electronic technology: remelting stones, centrifugation of liquid-fire basalt, air blowing for the production of fibers with different diameters (the diameter of inorganic threads must correspond to the design documentation and standard modification of Tizol). Next comes the compaction of the fibrous conglomerate using phenolic additives, pressing and cutting of the web to specific dimensional parameters, and the last thing: packaging finished products. Basalt raw materials are crushed to the required fractions and sent to coke-heated furnaces. At a temperature of 1500-1800ºС, the stones turn into thick fiery lava, which is sent to special rotating equipment, that is, to a centrifuge. Under a strong air flow, lava turns into basalt threads.

As for the fibers, in accordance with the drawing documentation they must be obtained strictly according to the drawing diagram and correspond to the required standard modification. Typical Tizol products differ from each other due to the dimensional parameters of the threads and their density, which in turn give each Tizol modification individual technical characteristics. And the latter, in turn, affects the scope of application in construction industry. Plus, the entire standard series has differences in size (thickness and length), density and release forms (rolls, slabs and mats). Density is the result of compacted bonding of the fibrous mass and air layers. The higher the density, the smaller the air layers and the stiffer the material.

How does Tizol mineral wool differ from other insulation materials?

Tizol insulation compared to other types of thermal insulation materials (expanded polystyrene, extruded polystyrene foam, cellulose boards, sandwiches insulated with expanded polystyrene or BCA boards) is completely safe for human health and for the structure as a whole. The safety of mineral wool for human health is achieved by the purity of the product, natural origin production raw materials and strict implementation of phasing technological process. Mineral boards used in thermal insulation of civil buildings or industrial complexes provide a barrier against fire and high temperatures. Even if a source of ignition appears, it is stopped by the adjacent zone of mineral wool insulation, and the Tizol series of insulation is precisely the product that will stop any fire, since its melting point reaches 1000-1200 degrees.

Stone fibers, “cemented” with special additives based on phenolic substances, are absolutely harmless to humans. Despite the use of phenolic sealants, mineral wool is not toxic, since phenol quickly erodes and does not condense on the surface of the material. After volatilization, phenol-containing substances do not leave stains or leaks. Laboratory and technical tests of mineral wool products have proven the environmental friendliness of the mineral heat insulator. The safety of Tizol products has been confirmed by the Ministry of Health and Sanitation of the Russian Federation, and has also been awarded a special certificate of environmental friendliness.

Important technical point

The production of thermal insulation material adheres to technical documentation. When manufacturing Tizol mineral wool, compliance with building regulations and standards that fully influence the achievement of high-quality thermal insulation to meet international standards. Tizol stone wool is produced according to the requirements of GOST 4640-93. Each modification is manufactured according to a specific drawing and technical specifications, that is, it has specific parameters consisting of length, width and thickness, as well as molding in the form of casings, mats, rolls and plates. The acid module of the product is taken into account in the production process. The parameters of moisture absorption, vapor permeability and durability depend on its figure. Tizol mineral wool has an acid module of 1.7. This figure speaks about the quality of mineral wool and its resistance to aggressive environments and its endurance to harsh conditions operation.

Areas of application and installation method

Civil, industrial and road construction companies use Tizol basalt wool in every project. The product range is quite rich, therefore it is mainly used for heat and sound insulation of high-rise public and residential buildings. This heat insulator is recommended by construction engineers for heat and sound insulation of country real estate, namely: cottages, country houses, outbuildings, garages, bathhouses, barbecues, warm gazebos and communication buildings.

Mineral heat insulator Tizol technical specifications Suitable for thermal insulation of cabins in the production of automobiles, carriages, ships, refrigeration, bakery and boiler equipment, as well as wherever thermal insulation against fire and cold is required. The demand for thermal insulation with Tizol products requires a pipe system with hot media for centralized heating and technical needs, as well as insulation of industrial facilities constantly operating under high temperatures at +400 - +1000ºС. Due to its resistance to temperatures and open fire, Tizol is also used in the insulation of reactors and other objects of strategic importance.

Laying method:

Typical modifications of Tizol are installed inside a heat- and sound-insulating sandwich right in the middle of the composition. The light weight of the materials does not burden the load-bearing elements of the structure. Mineral wool is used for thermal insulation of all types of structures and structures, regardless of the type of masonry material. Cotton wool is installed on vertical (internal and external walls), horizontal (ceilings, floors, pitched or horizontal roofs) and on inclined surfaces.

Typical Tizol products are laid as an outer layer on which concrete solutions and decorative finishes can be applied.

Facade systems (hinged and ventilated types) include mineral wool insulation “walled up” in the frame devices of the system.

Sandwich panels, frame walls and monolithic blocks in the internal multilayer structure have mineral wool insulation, tightly surrounded by finishing materials made of cement, metal and particle boards.

Insulation of industrial metal structures, various communication structures, pipe routes with hot or cold media and industrial equipment is carried out using mineral wool in the form of slabs, rolls or casings.
