Fgbu "tsniii iv" of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Council of Chief Designers Vorobyov Ivan Semenovich

3rd site of the 15th Central Research Institute of Engineering Troops in Nakhabino. I once served on it. ISU-152 was no longer there, but there were still a lot of interesting things lying around the swamps. Our company in the spring of 2011 exhibited an outfit for this object. Attire - two gouges, an officer from the Central Research Institute and a wooden club. In March, when I first got there, it was deserted and mysterious on the site, the paths were covered with snow and, going around the objects at night, its crunch was reflected from the walls of buildings with a booming creak, making the half-abandoned landfill even more unfriendly and ominous. But better days my service began in April, when the warm sun was peeking out, you could sit on a mound near the checkpoint, get a book and, together with a purring cat, rejoice at the end of an endlessly long army winter.

Once this site was intended for testing mines, explosives, demining systems and other exploding and vile food. In my time, it was almost completely abandoned. Photos from the site were fun in the barracks, where I passed the KMB, students of the 6th Kovelsky training center The engineering troops (before our brigade, he occupied this territory and this location) were engaged in the development of explosives near these same self-propelled guns.

The playground was a conscript's paradise. There you could take a break from the army routine, breathe fresh air and temporarily escape from the barracks into nature. You could grab a hazing meal, talk on the phone or wander around among the pines to your heart's content. What garbage we just did not suffer there. One of ours was counting the days on one of the walls until the end of the demobilization. Someone climbed the towers to stare at Nakhabino from above. Personally, I studied the objects scattered around the site, since there was a lot of interesting and mysterious things there. For example, a windowless building, the entire floor of which consisted of vertically placed sheets of glass. Styrofoam diving buoys were scattered nearby. In the distance there was an abandoned pond, in which underwater explosions had once been carried out, with an armored box with periscopes completely burned out from the inside. A FAB-100 bomb hung on one of the pine trees. And all over the site were lying in incredible quantities of steps from rockets jet system demining UR-77. In some places, rusty, but quite understandable flags with the letter "M" stuck out - mines. We tried to notice them in advance and not go there.

At the checkpoint there was a house just built from thick pine boards, in which there were two rooms - a little bigger, where there was a table with all kinds of documentation and topographic map the terrain of some God-forgotten year, and a smaller one, in which there was a trestle bed and an outfit lived. Both there and there, enterprising soldiers created zanchaks, where they kept a kettle, tea, coffee, mugs, cookies and other priceless treasures. On the platform, one could always drink plenty of tea, unlike a company, and the Russian soldier's commitment to tea is well known.

Of course, not every outfit on the site was so beloved to the heart of the conscript "rasso". There were different attendants. They were divided into good and bad. A good duty officer did not interfere in the life of the outfit and the site. Such an attendant, as a rule, put a laptop and began to cut into toys or watch a movie. A particularly good duty officer - and a certain captain of the second rank was considered such - planted soldiers to watch movies, because it was boring alone. A bad duty officer forced them to serve. This was expressed in cleaning the territory (as you know, the army always has something to remove and how to remove it), bypassing the entrusted objects at any time of the day or night and checking the integrity of the seals and locks on them.

To tell the truth, everyone disliked the night crawls the most, since they had to walk alone, and all the equipment included a MagLite flashlight (I have loved them since then) and a wooden baton. At night, the playground made an eerie and frankly scary impression, staring at you with black gaps in the windows and creaking with tree branches and ropes of a cable car. The helplessness of our "weapons" added self-confidence and, as a rule, dark time For days we tried not to go far from the checkpoint - the site did not inspire any confidence with its swamps, minefields and a deaf, unpleasant echo. Moreover, we constantly stumbled upon someone else's, not our soldier's footprints in various places and extremely did not want to meet strangers, and even in the middle of the night - if anything, you won’t scream for help there.

Once I was attire with Long. I don’t remember his last name, but his height was truly outstanding and fully justified his nickname - 205 cm. The duty officer was a strange, bald-headed major, who at first seemed to us a normal officer, but in the process revealed all his excellent qualities. He turned out to be an extremely confused charter, which is not typical for officers from the Central Research Institute at all - unlike combat officers, these are people who understand and condescendingly treat soldiers - and decided to organize the service exactly according to the instructions. He was so sick of us that at night we decided to disrupt the service at all costs and successfully did it, falling asleep, while according to the instructions, while one soldier sleeps for 4 hours, and the second at that time patrols the territory and vice versa. Fortunately, for the whole night it was charged with such a thunderstorm that it was impossible to stick out the nose from the house. I had already the tenth dream, how someone in the most unceremonious way began to wake me up. Turned out to be Major. The expression on his face was the most bewildered, and he began to scream heart-rendingly to the whole site:
- The service was flunked, the whole service was flunked, what to do now, everything is gone, because of you everything is just gone, the whole service has been flunked !!! Not a single detour during the night, not one! Everything is lost!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
I still can’t understand what could have disappeared among the half-ruined hulls and locked hangars at night in a thunderstorm, but the major spent the rest of the night on the bed, clasping his head in his hands and almost sobbing:
- Filled up the service, bastards, how can you trust them with something, filled up the entire service! Not a single detour!

In the morning, he composted our brains for a long time, which he will definitely inform the company commander and our service will henceforth be a uniform hell, that we will never again get to this site and, in general, an arctic fur animal came to us. We were a little nervous, but the story had no continuation, except that we no longer saw the major on the site.

There was also one bad duty officer at the institute, whose stories about atrocities knew no bounds and boundaries, but, oddly enough, he was the most interesting duty officer on this site. This lieutenant colonel was obsessed with a thirst for action, and under his leadership we either cleared the bed of a stream that flowed under the road from the checkpoint to the hangars, then restored the perimeter wire fence near the gate, then assembled models of TM-62 mines on the site, then patched broken windows, then, after that memorable thunderstorm with the major, they collected, sawed and burned the branches she had broken. This underground not only forced us to work, but also led all this disgrace, along the way commenting on why and why we are doing all this. To tell the truth, I liked to stand with him in an outfit, because after labor day he gave two or three hours of complete rest, and in the process of work it was possible to talk with him about the site and about engineering. He obviously had a heart for the entrusted object and patched and repaired its structures not for show, but to the conscience. It was infectious, and the blocks of abandoned towers creaking in the wind began to inspire us with melancholy and we began to work hard even with enthusiasm unusual for conscripts.

We heard from the officers on duty that various dark personalities regularly hang around the site, but we ourselves have never seen them, we only saw their footprints in the snow or in the mud, sometimes even very fresh ones. This fact was what kept many outfits from exploring the bowels of the site, but in my case, curiosity usually outweighed. But one day in May, my partner and I finally saw the perpetrators with our own eyes. We were returning from a detour when a partner noticed that someone was walking along the long road along the eastern front of the site at a distance of a hundred meters behind us. We stopped, looked closely and realized that there was more than one person there, but it was impossible to determine the exact number. We decided to take a step forward, since almost 400 meters from the checkpoint and the duty officer in the beginning twilight, and with our excellent weapons, there was not the slightest desire to communicate with violators. If people have entered a military facility and are not afraid of meeting with its owners, then nothing good will come from such a meeting. We turned onto the road to the checkpoint and moved another 50 meters closer to it when we saw four people in camouflage enter it. They stood, looked at us, and we looked at them. Then the duty officer came out of the house for some reason, saw this silent scene, and the four decided that it was better for them to retire. We, with our characteristic heroism, decided not to continue the pursuit - the men were somehow muddy. The duty officer approved our decision and canceled the night round - it would be better if everything went as usual without incident than the heroic military engineers would arrange a battle with their bare hands at Kerzhenets with unpredictable consequences due to a pile of rusty iron.
This is how I remember the 3rd platform, and these photos and the story will perfectly complement my memories, blooming and making them more alive.

Original taken from deletant in ISU-152 and so on at a training ground near Moscow

Previously, military equipment was tested for durability in this place, the strength of concrete was checked, and they learned how to build protective structures. Now everything is abandoned, overgrown with forest. Let's see what's left of the old landfill.

1. The first time I came here was in 2008. The path to the training ground lay past the marshy Lake General. On the shore stood a bath, guarded by soldiers.

2. The first sign of the test site: a protective house for monitoring the progress of the tests.

3. Window with thick glass.

4. The old gate opened the entrance to the fenced area inside the perimeter of the landfill. (I have never seen this gate and have neither the slightest idea, Where are they located. Obviously, on the opposite side of the site from the checkpoint, otherwise the author of the post would hardly have got on it unnoticed)

5. Box from under the rocket.

6. Trailer, a couple of shelters - that's all that was preserved outside the perimeter.

7. Next was a large bunded site for blasting.

8. I climbed the shaft and saw the purpose of my campaign.

9. Here, since Soviet times, three self-propelled guns have stood in the swamp.

10. The brand of these machines is ISU-152.

11. They are equipped with 152mm howitzers.

12. Looked into muzzle brake guns.

13. Armored gun mask.

14. One of the test marks: a trace from a cumulative projectile.

15.

16. The local soils are quite swampy.

17. Rollers plunged into the water.

18. The engine compartment was almost completely dismantled. There was no diesel and gearbox.

19. Only the stern gearbox damaged by the explosion has survived.

20. The back cover is open.

21. The fighting compartment also got a lot.

22. Shells once lay here.

23. The aiming handles of the gun miraculously survived.

24. A few meters away was the second self-propelled gun.

25. The condition of the engine compartment is similar.

26. But the gearbox survived.

27. Inside.

28. Finally, a third car was parked in the forest.

29. To get to it, you have to jump from bump to bump.

30.

31.

32. Unfortunately, around 2010, all self-propelled guns were removed from the landfill.

33. Raising the flag on the flagpole, I left the site.

34. I returned here only after 5 years, in 2013. First, I examined the tower, lost in the forest not far from the training ground.

35. Bottom view. I did not climb up and hurried to the training ground.

36. The fence around the site is still knocked down, the object was not useful to anyone.

37. The embanked area for blasting is completely overgrown.

38. Only a tattered tablet recalls the tests that took place here.

39. The flag on the flagpole is gone.

40. On the way, another armored "house" came across in the forest.

41. Apparently, there were a lot of them scattered around the landfill even before it was overgrown with forest.

42.

43. A stand for testing concrete protrudes from the thickets. This is its intended purpose.

44. In fact, this is a stationary beam crane. To control the winch, a "birdhouse" is arranged at the top.

45. Everything is the same in the fenced area, but the trailer was also taken away somewhere.

46. Among young birch trees there are warehouses-shelters.

47.

48.

49.

50.

51. Here is a pleasant forest. You can find boletus and spent shells.

52. I meet several houses. Some are closed, some are not.

53. But everything is empty inside.

54. On the local unstable soils, the foundations gradually subside, the walls crack.

55. The only non-overgrown site of the landfill is next to three closed and sealed hangars.

56. An interesting tower looms in the background, but more on that later.

57. Another interesting object is hiding in the bushes behind the hangars.

58. This is a self-made design with wheels from the BMP, which could move along the tracks from it.

59. Apparently, this is a cart for a mobile target.

60. From the electric motor that set it in motion, only the body remained.

61. For twenty years this system has not been used, everything is overgrown.

62.

63. Finally, about the tower. Actually there are two of them.

64. Cables were stretched between the towers, along which a small cradle could ride.

65. One of the towers was "leading", several winches were installed on it.

66.

67.

68.

69. The tension of the cables was provided by a heavy concrete counterweight.

71. Here, too, hangs a counterweight.

72. Climbed to the very top.

73. Here was a surprisingly new coil. Apparently recently installed. But why?

74. Cables go to the second tower.

75. The entire range from here is in full view.

76. And on the other side, a dacha cooperative is visible, closely adjacent to former landfill. Places here are hefty thieves. Apparently, the landfill will soon be built up.

The engineering troops of Russia are one of the most diverse and technically equipped troops. The system of engineering weapons includes over 600 items of various models and kits. In 2017 more than 750 units were delivered to the troops. engineering technology.

January 18, 2018 at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Central Research Testing Institute engineering troops» The Russian Ministry of Defense (Nakhabino settlement, Moscow region) held an organizational meeting of the Council of Chief Designers for Systems and Means engineering support weapons systems of the ground component of the forces general purpose. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense and 56 chief designers of industrial enterprises in all areas of engineering support.

Chief of Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Yu.M. 15 CENTRAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE FOR TESTING THEM. D. M. KARBYSHEVA

15 Central Research and Testing Institute named after D. M. Karbyshev of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Nakhabino. Prior to this, the institution was called "Research engineering institute ground forces(NIIII SV)", currently - NIITs SIV FGKU "3 Central Research Institute" of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Exploratory and applied scientific research, testing in the field of creating engineering weapons, technologies and means of disposal engineering ammunition; marketing of dual-use technical means and technologies (extraction, purification and desalination of water, autonomous energy supply, humanitarian demining, dismantling of emergency buildings, etc.) testing of samples of equipment and industrial equipment on the impact of an air shock wave and gas explosions in air, soil and water; simulation of emergency situations.

STORY
At the Nakhabinsk test site in the 30s, he conducted research and tested new engineering facilities and armaments D.M. Karbyshev - Professor, Doctor of Military Sciences, Hero Soviet Union. Karbyshev played an outstanding role in developing the theory of Soviet military engineering art. The activities of the test site, and then the institute, were closely connected with the work of D. M. Karbyshev.
Lieutenant General of the Engineering Troops D.M. Karbyshev, remaining faithful to the military oath and the Motherland to the end, died heroically in February 1945 in a fascist death camp.
In 1951, the institute was named after the hero-scientist. In the park on the street 11 sappers D.M. A monument was erected to Karbyshev.
Before the Great Patriotic War, the Higher Officers' Engineering School was located near the institute. It was located "on the hill" in a three-story building. In 1948, one-year courses were organized at the school for the retraining of young front-line officers. In 1952-1953, the school was transformed into the Central Advanced Courses for Officers of the Engineering Troops. In 1960, the rank of the courses was lowered - they became academic courses for the improvement of command personnel at the Military Engineering Academy. V.V. Kuibyshev. They were moved to the territory and premises previously occupied by the Separate Camouflage Battalion. Now the Training Center is located on this territory.
Subsequently, the territory "on the hill" became under the jurisdiction of the institute and received the name - the second territory. Since 1961, the institute began to be located in two territories.
To date, the main building of the Institute named after D.M. Karbyshev, located on the first territory, with adjacent parkland and ponds, is the main architectural landmark of the village of Nakhabino. It was built in 1941.
From October to December 1941, the main building and other brick buildings were mined using radio-controlled land mines. An employee of the institute, a resident of Nakhabino Vyacheslav Dmitrievich Bobylev, took part in its mining and demining.
