“I promised my daughter that when she gets on her feet, she will be able to try herself as a model, I did it so that she would start walking as soon as possible,” says Natalia.

Mom's motivation worked - in September Sasha went. A couple of months later, the Premiere modeling agency invited children with handicapped and their parents. Alexandra alone took advantage of this chance.

“We started going there, we didn’t do any concessions to our daughter, the only thing was that we were allowed to sit more often - her legs hurt,” recalls Natalya. - In the agency, children study defile, choreography, acting skills, shaping, photo posing, make-up, style and etiquette. Soon, at the first shooting, the photographer praised his daughter, said the camera loves her.

And in the spring of 2014, she took to the podium. Later she won the regional beauty contest "Crystal Crown - Ural". A year ago, another dream came true - Sasha wanted to get on the show haute couture. “At the age of 7, I realized that I was special,” Mayakovskaya recalls. - My mother and I came to enroll me in the first grade, the teacher offered to study at home, in order to avoid bullying. But at home everyone loved me, and therefore I did not experience large complexes regarding appearance.

“Already at the age of 17, I started making money - I traded at home,” says the model. - She wrote poems, stories, participated in festivals, was the chairman of an organization for the disabled. But five years later we divorced, my wife was happy with everything, and I wanted to live in a big city.

Arriving in the capital in 2010, Tasha completed psychology and coaching courses and began promoting her services on social networks. Somehow, a girl-photographer saw Tasha's amateur pictures and invited her to shoot in the studio.

“I have not yet become the face of any brand, and the work of a model does not bring me significant money, but I always respond to all proposals with pleasure - I like the creative process itself. The most important thing in life is to learn to love yourself. When I realized this, I became happier and everything began to work out.

ON THE PODIUM - IN A CARRIAGE

Until 2007, Irina Dorokhova from Tomsk worked as an accountant, raised her son and did not plan to change anything ... But on July 7 she got into a car accident and spent 10 months in intensive care. The diagnosis is a traumatic disease of the spinal cord.

“You need to look beautiful, even while in a wheelchair,” Irina admits. – In 2011, I decided to hold a contest “Special Fashion” – designers created collections of clothes for the disabled. There was a problem - the search for fashion models. At the show, they felt constrained, and the idea of ​​​​creating a school of models was born.

At the first lesson, Irina was among the students. “Education is free. There are up to 30 people in the group,” says Irina. – 80% of students are disabled. Not only wheelchair users, but also those diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy. Classes run from March to October. Some of the students after graduation were able to find a job, someone started a family.”

Now Dorokhova and her models are on the catwalks of Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Moscow, participated in international competition"Without borders of couture". On average, each fashion model receives about 2,000 rubles per show. Only Irina does not take money.

“A matter of principle. The process itself is more important,” she explains. “Now I am absolutely happy. I have a wonderful son. Everything is fine with my personal life - 8 years ago I met a man in the hospital. I went to rehab there, and he visited my mother.
