Alexander Abdulov - Romance with life

Alexander Abdulov's height: 188 centimeters

Personal life of Alexander Abdulov:

First serious relationship Abdulov had while studying at a theater university. His beloved name was Tatyana, she studied at a medical institute and worked part-time in a maternity hospital. Because of his dates with her, Alexander often skipped classes, but the actor never had problems with certificates. True, one day the dean’s office noticed the maternity hospital’s seal and, after the scandal, they even wanted to expel Abdulov.

But things didn’t work out with Tatyana - he found his beloved in the arms of another. The betrayal shocked him so much that he opened his veins. He was saved by an accident: his roommate returned and broke down the door.

As I told you close friend Abdulova is an actor, Tatyana gave birth to a son. Abdulov found out about this when he and Tatyana met a few years later. “He came to her house and saw that at the end of the corridor he ran out a little boy, a little “Abdul” who was incredibly similar to him,” Martirosyan recalled. Tatyana admitted to him that this baby is Abdulov’s son. But the actor reacted negatively and did not communicate with the girl. According to Georgy Martirosyan, Tatyana did not bother him with her requests.

He then had an affair with an American woman named Karen. He called her Katya. The girl worked in Moscow at a representative office of a foreign bank. The romance was stormy and passionate, and Alexander even wanted to get married, but his plans were thwarted by the KGB. Karen was eventually expelled from the USSR.

Alexander Abdulov and Karen

Then Abdulov met. They met at the Lenkom Theater in 1976. Abdulov was already playing in this theater at the time they met. That year they staged “The Star and Death of Joaquín Murietta,” where Alexander Gavriilovich shone. And the young but already well-known actress Irina Alferova came to the theater.

On the Lenkom tour in Yerevan, Alexander proposed to Irina. She jokingly told the loving Romeo that if you carry me in your arms across the entire park, I will answer. He did it. And Irina, without hesitation for a second, agreed to marry him.

The actor’s mother Lyudmila Aleksandrovna said: “When Sasha was 23 years old, in 1976, he married Ira Alferova. As I remember now, I once called him, and he said: “Mom, I’m marrying actress Alferova, and we already have a child. Come!". My husband and I went to a children's store, bought a huge doll and rushed to the capital. At that time, Sasha had just received from the theater a two-room apartment in Moscow near Sokolniki Park. We arrived there with Gavriil Danilovich, he introduced us to Ira and Ksyusha, her daughter from her first marriage. But from the very first day Sasha accepted Alferova’s daughter as his own. I immediately liked Ira, she was already famous at that time, I really liked the film with her participation, “Walking Through Torment.” They’ll go on tour, but they’ll leave Ksyushka to me, I tried to help them with everything.”

Irina always had a calm disposition, while Alexander was passionate, loved noisy companies, and was easily carried away beautiful women. A quiet family life was not for him. After living together for 17 years, Abdulov and Alferova decided to leave.

Alexander left his wife and adopted daughter Ksyusha an apartment, and for several years he huddled in the dressing room of his native theater. However, he was still officially married. Abdulov asked for a divorce when he learned that his next chosen one was expecting a child. But that will come a little later.

And immediately after breaking up with Alferova, he had an 8-year relationship with ballerina Galina Lobanova.

After breaking up with Galina Lobanova, the actor had an affair with a young journalist Larisa Steinman. She came to interview the artist and immediately captivated him with her beauty and intelligence.

From 2003 to 2005, the actor lived in a civil marriage with Saratov actress Victoria Lanovskaya, who was 27 years younger than him.

Lanovskaya said: “We met in the fall of 2003. A friend was celebrating her birthday, and Abdulov was among the guests. A handsome man! He joked and sang. When I told him that I also wanted to act in films, he gave me his mobile number. We called each other for six months, until Sasha didn’t say, “Get ready and come to my house. Take your portfolio with you." I was scared because I had heard so much gossip about Abdulov the womanizer, how he rushes at women right out of the gate. Everything turned out to be the opposite. Sasha behaved politely and gallantly. He cooked scrambled eggs and treated him to cognac.

Intimate relationships started a week later. We visited him at home with friends. The guests left in the morning, and we were left alone. Here Sasha showed persistence, but I did not resist, because I had already fallen in love a long time ago. In the morning, no one brought coffee to anyone in bed. We drank a glass cold water- and make love again! There wasn't even enough time for breakfast.

The difference of 27 years did not frighten him. Every morning he asked me about this. But regular guests, feasts, restaurants, presentations. He also smoked a lot. He once tried to quit and gained 10 kilograms in two weeks. It didn't work out for us. When I got tired of all this, I moved to my own apartment, and then moved to Europe for a year and a half. I didn’t even know that Sasha died.”

Victoria Lanovskaya - ex-lover Alexandra Abdulova

Last love The actor became Yulia Meshina.

In 2007, the couple had a daughter, Evgenia. And a year and a half after the wedding, Abdulov died.

It is known about Yulia Meshina that while studying at Odessa University I got married at the age of 17. Julia became pregnant, but her husband was not ready to become a dad, and besides, he went on a spree. The girl did not forgive the betrayal and left for Moscow to cousin Ksenia.

In the capital, she became closely acquainted with producer Igor Markov, who was promoting the aspiring singer Lera Maskva. A year and a half later, Yulia left him. She got a job as an office manager for Shabtai Kalmanovich, at that time he sponsored the then aspiring singer Zemfira. Constantly communicating with artists, Yulia met the singer Trofim, who became her next man. It was to her that Trofim dedicated the song “Bullfinches” in 2001. However, things didn’t work out for Meshina with Trofim either.

After Abdulov’s death, there was talk that Zhenya was not his daughter. Thus, Abdulov’s former lover, actress Victoria Lanovskaya, once said: “I didn’t hold a candle, but I give one hundred percent that this is definitely not Sasha’s child. I lived with him for almost two years and tried unsuccessfully to get pregnant, although both he and I were much more younger. But Sasha was a wise man. Perhaps all this suited him. Especially when he found out that he would soon pass away."

However external resemblance Evgenia and Alexander Abdulov leave no doubt that he is her father.

There were also rumors that doctors in Odessa performed in vitro fertilization on Abdulov’s wife. It is known that Alexander Gavriilovich doted on his little daughter.

After the actor’s death, Julia went out into the world accompanied by various men, whom secular reporters instantly attributed to her as her lovers.

Bibliography of Alexander Abdulov:

2008 - I want to remain a legend

This actor was a real gentleman. He enjoyed success with women and the respect of his comrades, he was carried in the arms of fans and literally “torn to pieces” by directors. Alexander Abdulov was distinguished by responsiveness and kindness, the ability to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. In people, above all else, he valued mutual assistance and selflessness, because he himself was always ready for dedication. He was a Man with a capital M, and an actor from God.

Real fame came to actor Alexander Abdulov after his first films “An Ordinary Miracle”, “Formula of Love”, “Don’t Part With Your Loved Ones”.

Childhood and youth

Alexander Abdulov was born on May 29, 1953 in the city of Tobolsk, not far from Tyumen, but all his childhood memories are connected with Fergana, where they moved when he was 3 years old. The boy's family was theatrical. Father Gabriel Abdulov served as a director in the theater. Mom Lyudmila Krainova was a make-up artist at the same theater. Alexander was the most youngest child in family. The older brother's name was Robert Krainov, he was his mother's son from her first marriage, the middle brother's name was Vladimir Abdulov, he died tragically in 1980 at the hands of hooligans. Before the war, Gabriel Abdulov had a wife and son Yuri, but he was told that they died, and the man married Lyudmila. And only after the war it turned out that his first family was alive, and that Alexander also had a half-brother, Yuri, who lived and worked as a taxi driver in Smolensk.

When my mother found out that she became pregnant for the third time, she really hoped that she would have a daughter, because the family already had two boys growing up. She categorically did not want to hear anything about the boy, so the doctors even had to use a trick and say that it would be a girl. But fate decreed otherwise, and a son, Sasha, was born into the family, who became the real pride of his parents.

Sasha often visited the theater, because his parents were always there. The boy gained his first stage experience at the age of five, when he was involved in the production of “The Kremlin Chimes.” From childhood, his father tried to instill in the boy a love for the theatrical stage, and he carried it through his entire life in memory of his beloved father.

Alexander did not like school; he was not interested in studying. The only subject where he laid out on full force there was physical education. He grew up a real hooligan, he did not miss a single yard fight or brawl.

Everyone already knew that behind the blackened noses and broken glass Sasha Abdulov is definitely worth it. He was 13 when he started smoking seriously, using cigarettes half-smoked by adults. In the school chemistry classroom, reagents often disappeared, which in Alexander’s skillful hands turned into explosives. He could steal theater makeup from his mother, paint himself beyond recognition, and scare the neighbor's grandmothers half to death. His parents didn’t really punish him for his pranks, but his older brother Robert was so tired of his younger brother’s pranks that he once cut off a whole clump of hair on the guy’s head, in the hope that he would be ashamed to appear on the street in front of his friends like that, and he finally then he will sit at home and do something useful, maybe even pay attention to books and lessons.

Sports became Alexander's real hobby during these years. The guy really liked fencing, he didn’t miss a single training session and gave it his all. Such love and dedication soon brought the first results - Abdulov became a master of sports of the USSR. These skills were later very useful to Alexander in cinema. When he played the main character in the film “An Ordinary Miracle,” he could calmly fence himself, without involving doubles.

For some reason, parents were always sure that one of their boys would support family dynasty and will connect his biography with the art of cinema and theater.

His father advised Sasha to try his hand at the Shchepkin School, but he failed the exams. In order not to lose a year, the guy passed the documents to the Pedagogical University and became a student at the Faculty of Physical Education. Thus, he could “drop” from the army and get the opportunity to work in the theater where his father worked.

Films and theater productions

A year later, Abdulov decided to try his luck again. He left for the capital, but this time he took the documents to GITIS. He passed all the tests with flying colors, and was enrolled in the workshop of teacher Raevsky. Robert and Vladimir supported their brother and also decided to enter the theater school. But they did not have enough talent, so the elder brother became a student at the Gubkin Petrochemical Institute, which he successfully graduated from. The fate of the middle brother was tragic - one day he was found murdered in the park; he did not have a camera, watch or money with him. The police concluded that it was a robbery.

Alexander was from the provinces, so life in Moscow was very difficult. Sometimes he compared himself to a yard dog that decided to conquer the capital in a hurry. But real fame was still far away, and for now, GITIS student Alexander Abdulov lived in a dorm, unloaded cars to earn at least some money, and never complained about his fate.

IN student years Abdulov first appeared on the set in crowd scenes of the films “Gold” and “Near These Windows.”

In 1974, during his graduation performance, the director of Lenkom drew attention to Abdulov and said that he would gladly accept him into his troupe. Here he received the role of the main character in the production “Not on the Lists,” for which he was awarded the “Theatrical Spring” award. Abdulov never left the theater, which became his home. Until his very last breath, he appeared on its stage to please the viewer with his new roles in interesting productions.

One of the most best works The actor's play "Juno and Avos" is considered. The performance “The Barbarian and the Heretic” was warmly received by the audience, after which the actor was awarded the independent state prize “Crystal Turandot” and the Stanislavsky Foundation Prize. Another prestigious award for the actor was the award from the Leonov International Theater Foundation.

In 1985, filming of the film “The Most Charming and Attractive” ended, which was extremely popular among viewers of all generations, and is considered the most popular comedy of perestroika.

Abdulov's hero is the womanizer Volodya Smirnov, with whom Nadya Klyueva was secretly in love. The girl got the role because it was written for her. The actress did not agree to star in this comedy for a long time; she decided for herself that after working in Carnival she needed to refuse such roles, otherwise she could forever become a hostage to the genre. But the director continued to persist, because he understood that no one would make a movie without Muravyova. And the director’s efforts were not in vain - the actress agreed. Thanks to her decision, viewers received interesting film, which is still watched with pleasure, and Abdulov very quickly became popular and in demand. The female half of the audience generally believed that the main character in this film was not Nadya at all, they liked the young actor so much.

In the second half of the 70s, Alexander acted a lot. During this period, his filmography was replenished with such wonderful films as “12 Chairs”, “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed”, “The Lost Expedition”. But the actor felt nationwide love and fame after filming in the film “An Ordinary Miracle,” directed by Zakharov.

Alexander Abdulov has always been perceived as a versatile actor. His extraordinary external characteristics allowed him to constantly change his role and organically merge into a variety of cinema genres - comedies, detective stories, adventures, science fiction. His heroes were romantic and lyrical, dramatic and even tragic. Thanks to serious sports activities in childhood, the actor independently acted in complex stunts, and he was often awarded as the best stuntman.

The film “Don’t part with your loved ones,” in which he became Mitya, caused a great resonance. The 80s brought Abdulov to the top of his popularity. He has become very popular with many directors, but he still does not refuse Mark Zakharov and. Sometimes he even starred in films by different directors at the same time, changing the set several times a day.

It was during this period that films with the participation of Alexander Abdulov were released, which became cult favorites - “Carnival”, “Sorcerers”, “Look for a Woman”, “That Same Munchausen”, “Midshipmen, Forward!”, “Formula of Love”, and dozens of others .

Such bright works could not fail to receive a worthy reward. In 1986, Alexander Abdulov became an Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and in 1991 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR.

In 1991, another talented work of the actor was released - the film “Genius”, in which he became the main character. This was the first joint work between Abdulov and director Sergeev, which grew into a fruitful collaboration. According to the plot of the film, a brilliant inventor is forced to cheat, because the time has come when smart people have become unclaimed, and they have to survive by any means. The audience liked the film and topped the box office ratings. Perhaps this is the most interesting picture released during the severe crisis of the 90s.

After this there followed a series interesting projects, in which Alexander Abdulov starred. The most popular films were “The Strange Men of Ekaterina Semyonova” and “Schizophrenia,” filmed according to the script of the actor himself.

In the 90s, Alexander Abdulov became the organizer and host of a festival called “Backyards”. The event was of a charitable nature; the entire troupe of the Lenkom Theater, many musicians and rock stars were invited to it. The intelligentsia considered it a great honor to attend such evenings in order to donate money to charity.

The proceeds from this festival went towards the restoration of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, which was located near the Lenkom Theater. But Abdulov sent the bulk of the donations to orphanages.

Thanks to the active participation of Alexander Abdulov, it was possible to restore the Moscow International Film Festival. He was even invited there as general director, and he worked continuously in this position until 1995.

Abdulov's directorial debut took place at the very beginning of the new century. In 2000, he became the author of the musical “The Town Musicians of Bremen,” based on the fairy tale of the same name.

The actor’s creative biography also includes work on television. In 2004, he was invited by the REN TV channel as the host of the “Natural Selection” program.

Alexander Abdulov’s acting career continued in 2005, in the film “The Master and Margarita”, in which he played Koroviev.

Personal life

The roles of the heroes of lovers were very close to Alexander Abdulov, because he loved women not only on the screen, but also in his personal life. The actor was literally pursued by fans, famous and not so famous, he had many novels, both real and invented by the press.

The actor's first serious love was a girl named Tatyana. But what a disappointment it was when one day Alexander found out that she had cheated on him. Surely this situation would not have arisen if the actor himself had a relationship only with his Tanya, and did not change his skirts almost every day. The girl later admitted that she cheated on Abdulov after she found out about his adventures. The situation was resolved with the help of a friend, who had just returned early, otherwise everything could have ended very sadly both for the girl and for Abdulov himself. Alexander tried to open his veins, and it was the same guy who saved him, who, by the way, did not allow the actor to be “locked up” in a psychiatric hospital. After many years, Abdulov recalled all this with humor, and always called himself a fool who almost took his own life.

Soon Alexander met another Tatyana, this time the woman was 7 years older than him, and had already achieved a lot in life. Her name was Tatyana Leibel, a famous dancer with whom the aspiring actor fell in love. The romance was stormy and beautiful, but quickly dried up.

The woman realized that her lover treated her differently than at the beginning of the relationship, and soon found out the reason for this behavior. He simply fell in love, fell in love again with a young and interesting actress, who very soon became his legal wife. Tatyana and Alexander broke up without scandals, they even remained friends until she emigrated to Israel, and then to Canada.

Abdulov and Alferova met on the set of the film “Don’t Part With Your Loved Ones,” in which they played the main characters. Falling in love on the screen quickly turned into real life, and the young people decided to legitimize their relationship. They were considered the most beautiful couple of Soviet cinema.

At the time of the wedding, the bride was already pregnant. The father of her child was businessman Boyko Gyurov, but the actors did not tell anyone about this. They had a daughter, Ksenia, and the girl was given her mother’s last name. Abdulov always considered her his own, never even thought of her as an adopted one. Alexander had his child quite late, when he was well over 50, but Ksenia always remained his daughter, whom he loved and supported in everything. They did not move away, even when Abdulov broke up with Alferova. Ksenia became an actress and director, and her first film was called “The Inventor.” It was this work that was dedicated to her stepfather.

The couple separated in 1993, despite the fact that they got married at one time. Their marriage lasted fourteen years, and during this time Abdulov had affairs with other women, which Alferova no longer wanted to forgive.

The actor and journalist Larisa Shteiman had a romantic relationship. One day she came to interview him, and this became the beginning of a two-year romance.

Then the ballerina Galina Lobanova appeared in the actor’s life, the civil marriage with whom lasted eight years. They lived in their own house, which he left to the woman after breaking up.

Abdulov did not have his own home, because he left the apartment and house to his wives. He lived in theater back rooms, suffered depression, and aged greatly.

But in 2005, the actor began his second youth. On the plane, he met Yulia Mashina, who was flying to Kamchatka on business, and Abdulov was just on vacation with friends. They turned out to have many mutual friends, and they met there more than once in friendly company.

They realized that they were made for each other. After this business trip, Yulia divorced her husband and went to live with her parents in Odessa. Alexander realized that his life loses all meaning if his beloved is not nearby.

They got married in 2006, celebrating this event with their closest friends. The bride did not wear a white dress, journalists and photographers were not allowed to the wedding, so photos of their celebration were not released to the press.

On March 21, 2007 they became happy parents daughter Evgenia. Their marriage caused bewilderment and condemnation from all relatives and friends. The girl’s parents were categorically against her chosen one; they believed that he was unworthy of her. But the reaction of others did not affect the newlyweds’ relationship in any way; they were happy.

Death

In August 2007, during one of the examinations in an Israeli clinic, the actor was given a disappointing diagnosis - oncology. The disease was in last stage, and the doctors were powerless.

Alexander Abdulov is an icon Soviet cinema. He starred in films that are now considered classics and examples of how things used to be better. His credits include “An Ordinary Miracle”, “Carnival”, “The Most Charming and Attractive” and many others. A large country went crazy for the tall, handsome man. Alexander Abdulov received recognition not only as a film actor, but also as a theater and voice actor, and as a director.

Alexandra Gavrilovich Abdulov was born into a family of theatergoers. Abdulov's father Gavrila Danilovich was involved in directing in Fergana, and his mother Lyudmila Aleksandrovna worked as a make-up artist. By nationality, Alexander is recorded everywhere as Russian, but, apparently, he had Tatar roots.

Before Alexander appeared, the mother gave birth to 2 boys, but did not want a third. When it became known that a boy would be born again, it was very difficult to make a decision. Conscientious doctors dissuaded the woman, saying that she was carrying a girl under her heart. Whether it was a mistake or a deliberate deception - it already matters, a boy was born.

The first time Alexander Gavriilovich touched art was on the stage of a theater in Fergana, where his dad brought him out from behind the scenes. First experience in creative activity Alexandra Abdulova was in the play “Kremlin Chimes”. At all young heart imprinted for life touching moment. The memory of my father is probably the warmest of my childhood memories. The main character of the Fergana Drama Theater instilled in his son an interest in drama, as if he was preaching the truth.

The acting path was predetermined by fate, but the active, inquisitive boy deliberately did not delve into the distant future. Little Abdulov was so deeply involved in music and sports that he free time made guitars from scrap materials. His idols were the Beatles. A loyal fan played such compositions on homemade guitars that he became known among his peers as the “fifth Beatle.” Often he got it from his older brother, who constantly strove to persuade his younger “brother” to the right path. To tie the boy to the house, the elder brother cut off a piece of hair, in the hope that the young man, having nothing better to do, would take up his studies.

Abdulov studied normally, but he was always drawn to trouble: he broke a window, was seen in a brawl, etc. Alexander Abdulov’s first achievements were in sports, namely, fencing. Constant and persistent training led the talented young man to become a master of sports of the USSR. As a result, fencing was useful in cinematography when the actor starred in the film “An Ordinary Miracle” without an understudy. The family assumed that one of the sons would, in any case, repeat the fate of his parents and become an actor.

Following the instructions of his father, Alexander Abdulov made an attempt to enter the theater Sliver, but he was refused. According to his mother's instructions, he settled in pedagogical university, at the physical education department, so as not to end up in an army snare. Simultaneously with his studies, he worked at the stage of the theater, where his dad was.

A year later, Alexander Abdulov, as he wanted, again went to Moscow to try his luck. This time I entered GITIS under I.M. Raevsky. The older brothers also wanted to become actors, but their attempt at admission was a failure. The eldest of the sons was educated at the Petrochemical Institute named after. Gubkina. The middle one suffered a misfortune - he died. The cause of death is unknown. The main version was that he was killed by attackers.

The career path of Alexander Abdulov, like all provincials, was not easy. He compared himself to a mongrel who wanted to conquer the capital. During the thirteen years he lived in Moscow, he lived in dorms, worked unloading wagons, and never complained. During the same period, Abdulov Alexander Gavrilovich began to participate in crowd scenes.

At a graduation performance in 1974, Mark Zakharov noticed the talented young man and made him an offer to work at Lenkom. On the stage of the theater, Alexander Abdulov played the main role in the play “Not on the Lists” based on Vasiliev’s story. For the role of Lieutenant Pluzhnikov, he was awarded the “Theatrical Spring” award. From that time on, Alexander Gavriilovich devoted all his time to the brainchild of Mark Zakharov.

The native stage did not support the actor until last days. The production “Juno and Avos” is considered to be a significant performance.

The role in the play “The Barbarian and the Heretic,” a stage adaptation of Dostoevsky’s novel “The Idiot,” was also successful. For his participation in this production, he was awarded the independent non-state award “Crystal Turandot” and the award of the K.S. Foundation. Stanislavsky." Acting Abdulov was also noted by the E.L. Leonov International Theater Foundation.

In 1985, the film “The Most Charming and Attractive” appeared on the screens, which instantly captivated Soviet viewers, became the most popular film during Perestroika and remains one of the favorite Soviet comedies among modern audiences.

Abdulov starred in the role of the handsome Volodya Smirnov, the love interest of the main character Nadezhda Klyueva, played by Irina Muravyova. The role of Nadezhda was specially written for Muravyova, and the director literally followed on her heels and really asked her to play in the film. Irina refused for a long time: after “Carnival” she firmly decided not to act in comedies. If in the end the actress had not agreed, the film simply would not have been made.

But the director still managed to persuade his heroine, and the country received a comedy that long years remained in the hearts of the audience, and Alexander Abdulov one of his iconic roles. Despite the choice of the main character, many girls liked Abdulov and his character, a well-groomed music lover with tall stature and a pleasant appearance.

The second half of the seventies had a good impact on Abdulov’s career. He was involved in the production of a series of famous films: “12 Chairs”, “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed”, “The Lost Expedition”. However, national fame and incredible love came to the actor after the film adaptation of “ An ordinary miracle"under the leadership of Zakharov.

This extraordinary talent expands his role and successfully plays completely different roles. A wide creative range and unique appearance made it possible for Abdulov to actively act in comedies, adventures, detective stories, historical films, lyrical, romantic, and even perform deep dramatic characters. In addition, Abdulov himself performed all the stunts in his numerous films and even received awards as the best stuntman.

The film “Don’t Part With Your Loved Ones,” where Alexander starred in the role of Mitya, was a massive success. In the early eighties, the actor gained wide fame and was in demand among directors. Most of all, Abdulov plays roles in films by Mark Zakharov and Sergei Solovyov. Often it was necessary to film several films simultaneously due to a busy schedule.

The most striking roles of the actor of this period are Nikita from “Carnival”, Ivan from “Sorcerers” and Robert de Charens from “Look for a Woman”. In addition, Alexander Abdulov played in such films, known to this day, as “That Same Munchausen”, “Midshipmen, Forward!”, “Formula of Love” and in many other films.

Fame also brought official recognition. In 1986, the actor was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.

In 1991, Alexander Abdulov became People's Artist RSFSR.

In the same year, he played the main role in the film “Genius” by Viktor Sergeev. Abdulov’s collaboration with the director began with this tape. In the picture we're talking about about a talented inventor who, due to his poverty and general lack of demand smart people became a fraudster. The film became a revelation for the viewer and firmly entered the box office leaders; it is recognized as one of the most interesting works that time.

Later, the melodrama with a criminal slant “Strange Men of Ekaterina Semyonova” and “Schizophrenia”, for which the script was written by Abdulov himself, was in demand. The last film, however, did not enjoy much love from viewers or critics.

In the nineties, Abdulov presented his new brainchild, the “Backyards” festival, to the public. The actor not only headed the event, but also organized it himself. It was a charity festival in which Lenkom actors and various guest stars, mainly musicians and rock stars, took part. Many intellectuals, both creative and entrepreneurial, came to such charity evenings.

The proceeds from the event were used to restore the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Putinki, located next to the theater. But the actor mostly donated funds from concerts to orphanages and other people in need.

The actor actively participated in the restoration of the Moscow International Film Festival, and until 1995 he served as its general director.

In 2000, Alexander Abdulov acted as a director for the first time. Based on the fairy tale “The Town Musicians of Bremen,” Abdulov made a musical.

In 2004, Russia saw its favorite actor in the form of the TV presenter of the program “Natural Selection” on REN TV.

In 2005, the actor starred in the role of Koroviev in the TV series “The Master and Margarita,” which added to Abdulov’s collection of successful and striking roles.

Abdulov has always been a hero-lover, both on TV screens and in life. He had a large number of fans all over Russia, and the press attributed to him affairs with the most different women, famous and not so famous. His romantic and impetuous character was simply incompatible with the quiet harmony of the calm family life what he showed in relationships with all his chosen ones.

In the early seventies, Abdulov felt his first love pangs and even wanted to commit suicide when he saw his beloved girl Tatyana in the arms of another man. To the girl’s credit, it should be noted that Alexander himself was not faithful to her, and Tatyana only cheated when she learned that her chosen one loved not only her. Alexander was saved from blood loss by his dorm comrade, who, by a lucky coincidence, arrived earlier. Even greater luck was that the future actor miraculously avoided being in a psychiatric clinic after such an incident. The artist recalled what happened with a smile and said: “He was a fool!”

Next was another Tatiana. The still unknown Abdulov won the heart of the successful dancer Tatyana Leibel. It was truly a beautiful romance, but it quickly came to an end. Tatyana realized that Alexander’s feelings for her had subsided, and her place in his heart was taken by another, young actress and his future wife Irina. The separation was calm, the couple maintained friendly relations until the dancer moved to Canada.

Alexander Abdulov met his first wife, Irina Alferova, on the set of the film “Don’t Part With Your Loved Ones.” The lives of the story characters mirrored the couple’s relationship outside the set. They were deservedly called the most romantic and beautiful couple of Soviet times.

Alferova got married, expecting a child from foreign businessman Boyko Gyurov. Abdulov and his wife hid this fact very much from the curious press; Alexander Gavriilovich raised his adopted daughter Ksenia Alferova as his own. The actor did not have any children until he was over fifty years old. However, he never considered Ksenia not his. The girl always felt the support of her famous stepfather, even after her parents divorced. Much later, she made the film “The Inventor,” dedicated to the memory of her stepfather.

Despite the fact that Abdulov and Irina Alferova were married, in 1993 the exemplary family broke up. Alexander lived with his wife for fourteen years. But the love affairs of the hopeless womanizer could not pass without a trace.

The romance between Abdulov and Larisa Steinman lasted for 2 years. Larisa was a journalist and, on duty, came to interview the star. The actor always did not treat the press very well, which did not stop him from starting a relationship with one of them.

Alexander Abdulov had a chance to survive major surgery, but he pulled out and continued his career. After a miraculous recovery, the successful artist began building his own house, where he later lived with common-law wife, ballerina Galina Lobanova and mother. Close friends often came to the house and helped Abdulov in building the house.

Having lived in the same house with the woman he loved for 8 years, the actor never legalized his relationship; moreover, he did not even dissolve his union with Irina Alferova. The artist’s first marriage was bound by church ties, and Alexander, as a believer, did not consider the possibility of breaking this oath in the face of the Lord. As befits a real man, Abdulov gave housing to both of his women, and he himself lived in the theater storerooms. Parting with Galina was difficult to bear; he was depressed for a long time, he grew haggard and aged.

Despite this promise, after antidepressant treatment, Alexander Abdulov’s personal life improved: he married for the second time. The chosen one turned out to be Yulia Mashina. As the artist himself noted, this girl brought him back to life. They met in 2005 absolutely by accident. We sat next to each other on the plane that was flying to Kamchatka. Alexander - to visit friends, relax, hunt and fish, and Yulia - for work. The new acquaintances learned that they had many common friends while still on the plane, and on the peninsula they were once again convinced of this. Julia and Alexander met again in a friendly company.

Abdulov, no longer young, looked like a teenager in love; he kissed his beloved’s hands. Even then they experienced warm feelings for each other that seemed unreal: very a big difference in age, profession and worldview. But the future husband and wife flew back to the capital separately.

After the holiday romance, Julia became convinced that her union no longer suited her. At that time she was married to Alexey Ignatenko, a man of the highest circle. Many were perplexed that the girl was divorcing her young, loving, wealthy husband from an intelligent family. After the divorce, there was little to keep Yulia in Moscow, and she left for her small homeland, Odessa.

The actor tormented himself with love. It became clear to him that he no longer wanted to live without his beloved Yulia. Abdulov ordered his director to contact his chosen one and invite him to St. Petersburg. Julia surprised everyone here too; the girl refused the recognized favorite of women, saying that if he wanted to meet her, he should come to her himself. And the actor went to Odessa. The couple celebrated the old one together New Year, and after that the lovers no longer separated, did not deny their relationship and did not try to hide it.

In 2006, a modest wedding took place in the restaurant of the Central House of Writers. The press was not allowed into the celebration; the celebration was only for the closest friends. There was no white dress, nor large quantity pictures.

In March 2007, Yulia Abdulova gave birth to the actor’s daughter, who was named Evgenia.

Almost everyone condemned the family union of Alexander and Yulia. The girl was accused of a thirst for fame and commercialism. The age difference between husband and wife haunted the public. The rumors had no basis in fact. The pretty brunette was not a hunter at all wealthy husbands, she had good job, career and numerous useful contacts.

In fact, at the beginning of the relationship, Abdulaev’s financial condition was much less stable than that of his chosen one. Julia's parents were also against the relationship. In their opinion, everything was completely the opposite, and the actor was already unworthy of their daughter. They did not like Abdulov’s profession, nor his age, and especially the age difference with their daughter, nor the couple’s relationship in general. But all the attacks brought the lovers even closer together.

At the end of August 2007, the media made noise about terrible disease actor. The examination in Israel shocked his loved ones - Abdulov was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, which turned out to be the cause of the actor’s death; his passion for smoking could not pass without a trace. The most amazing thing is that just at that moment Abdulov was starring in his last film, where he played an artist dying of lung cancer. A terrible coincidence.

A lifelong fighter, Alexander Abdulov, refused to accept reality until the very end, and, despite the support of millions of viewers, he passed away on January 3, 2008.

The farewell ceremony for the actor took place at the Lenkoma Theater. Despite the winter cold, a crowd of thousands of fans formed a crush in and near the theater, and the police were seriously afraid that people might die in this chaos. At some point, a certain number of people were pushed out onto the street, promising that they would be allowed to say goodbye to their beloved actor when those who were lucky enough to remain came out. Admirers attempted to storm the theater several times.

People gathered from all over Russia, some even flew from Siberia, to pay tribute to their idol. But this did not happen. A huge number of people stood for several hours in the cold only to see the car with the coffin leaving towards the Vagankovskoye cemetery.

There was also a scandal around Abdulov’s grave. As the actor’s widow, Julia, absolutely naturally, led the funeral procession and gave orders. This did not suit the artist’s friends, and several men in a very harsh form told the unfortunate widow to keep quiet and not get involved in such an important process for her. As eyewitnesses of the quarrel said, Julia led very wisely and logically. In all likelihood, it was not a matter of what and how the widow did, but the hostility of the actor’s friends towards his new wife, which they expressed at such an inopportune moment.

Maybe it was nerves because of what happened, but such an act of friends and relatives towards a woman who has lost a loved one still remains unforgivable. The widow with the baby in her arms became hysterical, and for a long time they could not calm Yulia down.

“When Sasha left, my life stopped,” says Yulia Abdulova, the actor’s widow. “For these five years, it was as if I hadn’t lived without him, but rather was watching a dream that never ended.” As if all this - Sasha’s illness, his departure, life without him - did not happen to me ... "

- Julia, we are meeting you in a Moscow apartment. But you loved your dacha in Vnukovo so much, where everything is permeated with the spirit of Abdulov...

Yes, all these years we lived with our daughter outside the city and only recently moved to Moscow.

It’s very good at our dacha - fresh air, quiet and cozy, next to a kindergarten - the most ordinary, village one. You can't imagine anything better for a child. But next year my daughter will go to school. This is a very responsible and difficult period in a child’s life. So that life in a large group does not become stressful for my daughter, I prepare it in advance. Gave Zhenya to preparatory group- again, in an ordinary, municipal kindergarten... By the way, my daughter categorically does not like city housing. Zhenya declares: “I don’t want to live here - it’s cramped here. Let's go back to the dacha." But the apartment is normal, big. We have to explain that there are families where mom, dad and three children live in one room. But this is difficult for her to understand. And in the store, like all children, Zhenya begins to whine: “Buy this, and this, and this.” And I explain to her that she has a million toys and she doesn’t need another teddy bear.

I suggest: “Stop on one thing: a bear, a doll or children’s cosmetics...” And she has tears in her eyes - after all, it’s always difficult to make a choice. But I am teaching my daughter to do this. I don’t want to indulge all her desires, because nowadays it’s so easy to spoil a child.

- Does Zhenya understand that her father was a famous actor?

Of course she watches his films. And when she was two years old, she spent hours watching his 2000 film The Musicians of Bremen. But for her, this person on the screen is primarily her dad, not a star. Sasha left when Zhenya was nine months old. But my daughter still has some vague memories of him. For example, she remembers one of Sasha’s shirts, in which he held her in his arms... Zhenya is very similar to her father.

The same leader and ringleader as Sasha. In kindergarten, he always protects the kids, resolves some situations so that everything is “fair.” At photo shoots he is constantly bursting with ideas. She’s bored of simply following someone’s commands, so she directs herself and offers something of her own. And she is also as hyperactive as Sasha was, always rushing somewhere. This year, my friend Oksana Korostyshevskaya and her three daughters and I went on vacation to Turkey. So my heart sank when Zhenya jumped into the pool - like a bomb, with wild screams. My daughter finds extreme sports everywhere, she is absolutely fearless - like Sasha... In order to channel Zhenya’s ebullient energy in the right direction, I take her to choreography. Last year I enrolled her in the Loktev ensemble, but Zhenya didn’t like it there - either she was still young, or the discipline there was too strict.

Photo: ANDREY ERSHTREM

In general, they abandoned it. In this case, we tried dancing again and... the process began. In a white swimsuit and Czech shoes, Zhenya is very funny. Especially compared to other girls - thin, with thin legs. My little one is large and tall. And this year Zhenya started studying in a theater studio.

- Do you dream of your daughter becoming an actress?

Not at all, although she has both artistry and charisma. But I know too well what a hard life it is public people. It's only on top that it's beautiful and shiny. So she goes to the studio and dances for general development... Recently Zhenya was invited to a troupe gathering at Lenkom - there was an idea to introduce her to one of the children's roles. Very nice to see good relations to Zhenechka Sasha’s “second home”, as her husband always called this theater...
